Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m an executive at a private fintech company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Divami Design Labs?
We wanted to create our own fintech platform. Since we didn’t have prior experience developing an app, we decided to look for a design agency. We hired Divami Design Labs to help us design the platform.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Divami Design Labs has designed our MVP's UI/UX using Figma. We have products coming up, and Divami Design Labs will design new features for the app.
What is the team composition?
I've worked with a project manager, a UI designer, and a UX designer. Aside from them, we work with Divami Design Labs' CEO and co-founder whenever we need to make a critical decision.
How did you come to work with Divami Design Labs?
We looked for design agencies with experience in mobile app design. Before reaching out to any agency, we gathered feedback about them online. From there, we shortlisted 4–5 agencies and received a presentation from each. Divami Design Labs' presentation was the most convincing, and they had a deep knowledge of mobile app design, so we hired them.
How much have you invested in them?
We've spent between $10,000–$50,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working with Divami Design Labs in June 2022, and our relationship is ongoing. Currently, we're discussing their next few assignments, and the project will continue as soon as we complete our fundraising.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We needed a team that could bring the right design ideas and understand our concept, and we have that in Divami Design Labs. In most cases, we don’t have to explain much to them because they understand concepts thanks to their knowledge and background. Since they have relevant experience, they don’t only rely on us to feed them ideas, which has made the project very interactive.
Moreover, they’ve given us various design options for us to choose from, and all of them have been above par. Divami Design Labs is also actively engaged in the project; they’re so serious about the work that they give me confidence and comfort. Therefore, we look forward to working with them on new feature designs.
How did Divami Design Labs perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re very meticulous about presenting their work. We mostly use phone calls and WhatsApp for communication and meet three times a week to review Divami Design Labs’work. I’m in regular contact with the project manager and designers; all three are involved in every call.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Divami Design Labs’ commitment and punctuality are awesome. They bring a lot of experience to the project and go about their work in a very methodical and organized way. Overall, the team is very easy to work with and goes above and beyond to help us.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Although we would love to develop the app with Divami Design Labs to reduce go-to-market time and make the process smoother, we’ve had to move the development offshore due to the high cost of their development services. However, this might be outside of Divami Design Labs’ control to improve because the price of development in India is quite high nowadays.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
With any development partner you work with, ensure that your scope of work is well-defined. This approach enables you to keep a healthy interaction with your development partner so that everyone is on the same page regarding deliveries, milestones, and costs.

HCL Pangea is a distributed analytics workbench meant for enterprise-wide use and deployment. It provides an end-to-end platform for deriving faster and more accurate business insights. We've helped them design and build the platform from the ground up.

Semantify : An NLP based analytics platform.

The core technology layer integrates advanced analytics, natural language and machine learning to derive, in real-time, hidden insights from across a wide spectrum of information and data sources. It is a powerful, big data discovery and analytics platform. It automates the grunt work of prepping, coding and extracting relevant data, freeing up the bandwidth of data experts for critical business analyses.
We helped define the User Experience for Semantify’s next-generation platform and delivered responsive designs for the complete application platform and also developed the complete UI in HTML/CSS & Angular.

Prime BPM - Business Process Management Tool
PRIME BPM is a cloud-based business process management (BPM) solution that enables users to map, analyze, and monitor various business processes. Key features include a process library, process mapping, process analysis, improvement management, collaboration tools, process approval workflows, and more.
Divami designed their web applications and user dashboard for the company portal.

Blue Yonder -Supply Chain Management Platform
Blue Yonder (formerly JDA Software Group) is a software and consultancy company (owned by New Mountain Capital and The Blackstone Group), providing supply chain management, manufacturing planning, retail planning, store operations, and collaborative category management solutions headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona. The company has more than 4,000 corporate customers in the manufacturing, distribution, transportation, retail, and service industry.
Divami helped Blue Yonder simplify the existing complex application for the end-user. We have revamped the complete UX and UI for a better customer experience and updated the product to the latest technology stack and architecture. Divami has also taken complete ownership of the project so that BlueYonder's internal teams can focus on their regular operations. In the end, we have enabled a seamless transition to the new technology without disrupting the existing large customer base.

Wurkr - A real-time video collaboration platform

Divami has designed and developed this video collaboration platform
Divami has spent considerable time interviewing target users understanding their pain points that help us come up with great and practical designs. We based our designs on Wurkr's vision that the app should "feel and work as if people are communicating in the real world". We brought features such as quick conference and impromptu conversions, which both stakeholders and users well received. We used subtle animations to bring interactivity and engagement to the app. We completed the designs in two months and worked closely with Wurkr's product development team throughout the development lifecycle of over nine months.

Appedo - Performance Management Platform
Appedo is a cloud-based integrated platform that provides business analytics, performance insights, user analytics, and mitigation tools. Appedo APM helps optimize complex consumer and enterprise software applications in real-time.
Divami revamped the design to make it responsive across all form factors with an easy-to-use and intuitive interface. We redefined the application to make it user-centric by defining the information flow as a combination of Information blocks and actions. We created a dashboard with aspects like "smart adaptation" based on the user's role. Apart from the designs, we also developed the UI and mobile app and took the application live in time for a successful conference launch.

Transforming Logistics Management with Design

Avana, a Transworld Group subsidiary, provides integrated logistics solutions across Coastal Shipping, Liner Services, Refrigerated Logistics, Warehousing, Distribution, and other customized logistic services.
Divami played a key role in the design and development of Avana’s customer-facing flagship portal. We were responsible for the complete User Experience of the platform, as well as the development of the UI with involvement right from the ideation all the way through post-rollout support.

Spiceworks - Managing technology just got easier
Spiceworks is an online community for users to collaborate and seek advice from one another. It also works as a marketplace to purchase IT-related services and products. The network is estimated to be used by more than six million IT professionals and 3,000 technology vendors.
Divami designed their website and built their web & mobile applications through a long term partnership based on trust and the value of design.

TalentSprint
TalentSprint is India's leading Career Accelerator for Youth. It's a technology-driven platform that attracts youth with high aspirations and equips them for exciting careers in the knowledge sector. TalentSprint aims to empower ONE MILLION young job seekers to pursue careers in IT, Banking and Financial Services, and Education.
Project brief: To design Talent Sprint’s competitive exams preparation app.
Solution: We designed the UX and UI of the application keeping in mind the needs of aspirants preparing for exams. The app uses Talent Sprint’s brand colors in a neat interface with uncluttered and easy navigation. The app helps the user create preparation strategies and nudges to complete tasks to keep on track.

Edwisely - AI Driven Learning Technology
Edwisely aims to transform Indian Engineering Institutes into AI-Powered learning campuses with data-driven techniques that can help engineering students reach their full potential during their graduation rather than after. Simply put, they want to make the students job-ready by equipping them with essential skills.
Divami designed the mobile app for Edwisely, making it more appealing and interactive for the students by emphasizing the app’s core features. We have helped increase the stickiness of the platform and made it more engaging through gamification elements. The platform is designed in such a way that it adapts to the learning pattern of the users. We have also helped the client extend the new features to the web apps for students and the faculty.

Corpus - Android TV

This OTT service is currently deployed into more than 1 million homes in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India, partially subsidized by the government. The challenge set for us was to define a new UX and Design for the OTT service that is contemporary and would appeal to the international market while being compliant with ATV (Android TV) standards.
Divami designed multiple features such as Live TV, VOD, reminders, games, etc, and helped enhance and bring emphasis on those features through design. Our designs have been strategized keeping in mind the constraints of TV being controlled with a minimalistic remote.

Duke : An AI assistant mobile app for Truckers.

The AI engine eliminates the need for drivers to enter trip details and expenses by relying on scanned documents and emails and automatically itemizes payments, bills, and expenses thereby greatly reducing paperwork effort.
We defined the User Experience and designed the UI for the entire platform from a concept stage and helped build the mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms. The app is currently live in App Store and is due to be released on Google Playstore.

Celes Care - A healthcare platform
Celes Care is a specialized platform - “Healthcare For Women, By Women”. Creating an informed patient is what Celes Care believes is the first step towards wellness. Celes Care doctors listen without judging, maintain your health records, respect your privacy and provide continued medical support for as long as you need it.
Divami completely revamped Celes’ mobile application for the users, their Web application for both users and doctors as well as their website. Mobile apps are designed as native apps with native navigation patterns for iOS and Android.

Endiya - Helping Founders Propel Growth
Endiya Partners is an early-stage venture capital fund with a focus on IP-led Indian product startups. Leveraging deep domain expertise along with vast entrepreneurial and operating experience, the Endiya team plays a key role in co-creating scalable businesses. Endiya’s portfolio consists of disruptive and category-defining companies across Digital Transformation and Healthcare sectors. Their current portfolio includes Darwinbox, Hansel, Kissht, and SigTuple.
Divami has partnered with them over the past few years and recently redesigned their website. The design helped Endiya establish its own identity and made them stand apart from their competitors.

Quin Ride: A smart helmet for a safe ride.

When a crash occurs or the SOS event is initialized, the BT paired mobile app sends notifications to emergency contacts along with location information.

Onemoney - A Consumer finance aggregator

Onemoney is a financial aggregator of all your banking and financial accounts providing a single, consolidated view of all your accounts and moneyone is a bill and UPI payments application.
We designed the User Experience and UI for these platforms from a single line concept stage. We have also built the entire platform end-to-end. The responsive Web application is built in Angular, native mobile apps for Android and iOS and Web Services layer using Java and MySQL on Linux.

Yuyiii - An Unique Travel Platform
Yuyiii travel portal is targeted at weekend travelers looking to explore unique destinations and off-the-beaten-track stays. The portal allows travelers to find a destination by geography and distance from a chosen city. The responsive website also allows travelers to book their perfect holiday.
Divami differentiated the Yuyiii platform through a unique UX approach that catered to both their mobile and web interface. We did extensive research to design the platform keeping in mind the needs of the urban population who have specific requirements to plan their trips. The web platform maintains a good rate of visitors (even during Covid) with the help of curated video and photo content of travel destinations created by Divami in partnership with the Yuyiii team.

A social media platform for private institutions
MYL is a platform where students from various colleges could share and store their memories via photos, videos, etc., as it happens with their fellow students and networks. https://divami.com/uxportfolio/my-year-look
But the MYL stakeholders realized that there is something amiss - as many of its users were accessing their website via mobile and tablets. The design of the website prevented MYL users from having the right kind of experience on mobile and tablet devices.

Medicopia - A comprehensive drug reference app

The mobile application gives access to prescription information on medication approved for the Indian market. Medicopia enables physicians to access comprehensive pharmaceutical detailing at the point of care via the mobile app.
The designs for Medicopia have won 2 Confederation of Indian Industry Design Excellence Awards - one for Overall Category Winner for Interaction Design and other for Best Design for Mobile App which was organized by India Design Council.

Hospice - Order management & fulfillment Platform
Hospice Source is a 20+year-old company that addresses the specific needs of providing medical equipment to an ever-growing population of hospice patients. The company provides technology solutions to Hospice caregivers for the ease of ordering the for their patients.
Divami helped revamp the User Experience of the Hospice Source's external-facing web application, including the UI's development. Based on our earlier experience and understanding of the healthcare domain, we designed the application according to rapidly changing patient and caregiver needs and made it easy to use. All of our design solutions had passed regulations and compliance tests. We ensured that patients felt confident about their treatment and, through our designs, bridged the gap between patients, healthcare professionals, and caregivers.

RightData : Data Integration SaaS Platform
Rightdata is a data-focused product company. Their products simplify the complex data operations like data ingestion, unifying, structuring, cleansing, validating, transforming, and loading customers' data into target data platforms. Customers can gain insights into their data using reporting, analytics, advanced analytics, and machine learning modeling capabilities.
RightData chose Divami Design Labs as the UX/UI design partner to completely redesign the Dextrus application. They wanted a seamless user experience and a fresh look for the application.
We have helped them achieve Visual representations of project workflow, personalized information, guided interactions and help as applicable, contextual suggestions and recommendations and also simple and intuitive interface for creating and managing projects.

Airtel - A million lives
Airtel Limited is an Indian global telecommunications services company based in New Delhi, India. It operates in 20 countries across South Asia and Africa.
Divami designed the complete User Experience (UX & UI) of the Airtel telecom services mobile app (Android & iOS) for Bangladesh, and it is live on both Google Play & App stores.
Divami built a comprehensive consumer services app with digital payments, ticketing, social connections, etc., while still serving its primary function of managing mobile plans, recharges, etc.

Collins Aerospace: Ground Vehicle Tracking
The project brief was to build an IoT asset tracker desktop application for the analysts. We designed the application keeping in mind the requirements of stakeholders and users in such a way that the analysts can have a clear picture of the area and movements from their desks without being present in the field. The application reduced the number of issues and the turnaround time to clear violations.

Google Cloud: Enterprise Data Integration Service

To redesign the replication workflow that helps Data analysts to configure simple pipelines without depending on the IT admins

Verge Ventures: Enterprise SaaS Solution
THE BRIEF
Verge approached Divami to customize their guest experience analytics platform for their client Marriott.
THE SOLUTION
We created a simplified smart dashboard without overwhelming non-technical users with the help of charts and graphs. The platform’s aim is to increase loyalty among the customer by enabling more autonomy related to each element that matters to the guest.

McDonalds: Pricing Analytics SaaS Platform
THE BRIEF
To build a POC for a SaaS platform for Mcdonald's franchise owners.
THE SOLUTION
We designed the platform keeping in mind the requirements of franchise owners who have no experience in data science or data analytics. The platform is actually a pricing analytics platform that analyzes pricing of the individual products and gives you analytics and recommends changes to make generate more revenue and profits.

ClinAsia: Clinical Research Enterprise Software
THE BRIEF
To redesign their portal, highlighting their special attribute of analyzing student performance for respective concepts.
THE SOLUTION
We crafted a flow that made it intuitive for students to learn at their respective levels. With the help of vibrant colors, we made sure that it not only taught kids about maths and science but also evoke their curiosity and lead them to self-learning and evoke science quotient.

Cyient: Actionable Data Intelligence Platform
THE BRIEF
Cyient approached Divami with a challenge to redesign their predictive maintenance solution.

We created smart dashboards for real-time monitoring and insights and take prescriptive actions resulting in improved ROI. Proactive workflow provided actionable insights at each step, enabling users to make quick and efficient decisions.

Nimble Heart - Interactive Healthcare Platform
THE BRIEF
To revamp Web and iOS application for one of their innovative wearable and reusable outpatient ambulatory ECG monitoring products. These products are targeted for pre-diagnosis patients as well as those living with known risk of cardiovascular events.
THE SOLUTION
“Physiotrace Smart” is FDA cleared for exercise ECG monitoring in outpatient settings including home, office, gyms and alternate care setting. We developed the UI, showcasing all the detailed information with easy to understand icons and interactions.

Apervi - Unified Big Data Integration Platform
THE BRIEF
To redesign the entire experience of the Big Data management platform to make it an easy-to-use and simplify the overall information management across the platform.
THE SOLUTION
We identified the role-based primary goal, key pain points, and role differentiator and designed a consistent information flow for all the target users. Our inclusive approach of creating individual but interrelated information segmentation allowed for seamless role-based focus and cross-functional workflows.

Upon securing our feedback, Divami Design Labs has completely redesigned our client-oriented platform and deployed our preferred design solutions. They're currently redesigning our web app to match the mobile app's new interface.

Rockwell Collins was an MNC dealing with avionics and information technology systems and provided related services to government agencies and aircraft manufacturers. The company was bought over and now is part of Raytheon Technologies. The mission of the company is to transform and shape the future of the aerospace and defense sector.
I was the Principal System Engineer at the company during our engagement with Divami Design Labs. Now, I act as the Associate Director at Raytheon Technologies.
For what projects/services did your company hire Divami Design Labs?
Using an asset tracker application, we wanted to transform and improve CIAL (Cochin International Airport) operations and assets management in 2018. Our business team was impressed with the extensive design strategy of Divami, making them our ideal partner for the design and development project associated with the plan.

We needed a real-time asset tracker system to notify the respective executives about the alerts and violations; which was obviously challenging.

Divami provided us with a detailed proposal and project timeline which stated the exact pages that will be revamped and the scope of the project which included desktop and mobile. They collated that info with what our team's input and also checked out our competition to see the market trends. Once that was done, we first started receiving the wireframes and then the UI designs once the wireframes were approved. It was a iterative process and they were open to a lot of feedback and changes based on regular weekly meetings

A team for 5 worked on our project who we interacted with directly. We had a UX designer, a UI designer, a project manager, a chief designer and an account manager as well.

We're happy with what was delivered. Our intial objective of a clear navigation, more interesting layout and easy enquiry process were met with this revamped design. We are currently in the process of completing the project as there were delays due to Covid and we intend to launch now which is the right time as travel is picking up now.

As mentioned in an earlier point, we have regular communication. There were in person meetings and video calls regularly. They never missed a meeting timeline and were able to show us the work for that week. Any feedback was immediately noted, minutes were sent and changes incorporated without further delay or confusion.

Their team is very sorted, and their process is well structured. It was a clear process which was communicated and the right expectations were set. They also had a very fresh view on the design.

There was one design on one page which was difficult to develop and we ended up shelving it as the cost of the getting it done was way higher than the result of it. So I think that can be considered while designing the pages to take into consideration the feasibility and cost of developing something.

Have interviewed, Meet with target segment they were so apt with customer expectation and it really surprised us. There was element of improvisation in almost everything which makes output complete.

We were looking for a significant redesign of the platform to make it even more appealing to our user base. We wanted to improve the overall user experience by making navigation easy and the app intuitive. What were your goals for this project?
We wanted to reduce the turnaround time and complex navigation patterns that led to users missing contextual information and actions. Moreover, there was a lack of personalization as per user roles.
We wanted the user experience to be top-notch with all the required information readily accessible and the navigation to be smooth with a minimalistic design. We wanted the users to be able to carry out desired action with minimal effort and clicks. The overall complexity needed to be broken down through an appealing UI.
How did you select Divami Design Labs?
I worked with Divami when I was leading a financial products platform at a company I was with a couple of years ago. When we invited them to participate in the evaluation, our team was also fairly impressed with their expertise with Enterprise products and B2B platforms. Hence we decided they were the right partners for us for this redesign exercise.

The platform needed revamping to match the current industry standard and user expectations. We wanted the UX to be intuitive while the navigation pattern to be easy enough for a new user to enter and carry out the necessary task without any confusion.
The workflow should be simple and cater to individual user roles while avoiding information overload. We wanted Divami to introduce context-based support and personalization. A no-code platform needed to be as straightforward as it can be; and I am happy to say Divami delivered on it.
What was the team composition?
We worked with 3 designers - one for UX and two designers for UI, led by Divami’s chief design strategist.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The UX UI met our internal expectations beautifully. Even the users were really appreciative of the change and we noticed the user engagement metrics showing an upward trend. Also, this project gave us a great step into the UX standardization and Information Architecture process. Becoming a mature startup this was a big addition to help grow Innovapptive.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
In short, it was smooth. Even though they did take time in conducting user and market research, I think it benefitted us in the end.
They kept us in loop throughout the project - we were meeting them at least once or twice a week - making sure all our feedback is implemented. Process of working with their teams was very easy and always proactive which helps when you are in a fast paced environment.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
In my view, People, Process and Technology creates a great services company. Working with startups is always a challenge, given the fast pace and growth pains that the partner like Divami in this case had to go through.

Naturally, we wanted the design to be simple and intuitive enough for anyone to work with it. So, we wanted Divami to design a world-class Android TV App that appealed to the Indian rural and urban markets alike, with a contemporary approach for the overall functionality of the app.
What were your goals for this project?
The idea is to create an immersive experience for the viewer with the key differentiator being the integration of Live TV (complete with channel surfing & program guides), educational and farming content along on-demand entertainment content.
We wanted an app that is currently targeted at the Indian market (rural being a key segment), while capable of appealing to the international audience as well. Moreover, it should comply with the Android TV standards. In the Indian family setting, the app needed to be lightweight with a very simplified navigation to appeal to the different age groups.

They came highly recommended through our network and the initial interaction with their design team went really well. After realizing the industry expertise and the satisfaction level of their other clients, we decided to partner with them on the project.

I’m the director of innovation and business solutions for a healthcare solutions company. We specialize in digital applications and help companies achieve their goal for digital transformation by ensuring quality all the way through.
What challenge were you trying to address with Divami Design Labs?
We wanted to create a new product that addresses some of the existing gaps in the API testing space. For us to develop a new product, we wanted to have a good user experience design.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We had some discussions with them and engaged their services for designing the user experience journey. They understood the application we were going to build to test APIs.
They created the user journey for us. As part of this process, they created hand sketches, wireframes, and UI mockups. They used Zeplin for sketching all the UIs together to have a screen flow.
What is the team composition?
The project was led by Prathima (Chief Designer & Executive Director). There was also a day-to-day project management lead. I also interacted with their lead designer and one other person. I was in contact with 4-5 people.
I also had the opportunity to speak to the founder & CEO because we were interested in developing a roadmap and seeing how they could help us in supporting our roadmap and the web product version as well.

The project took place from June-October 2020.

Early in our UX discussions, we came up with a one liner vision of what I want the application to do. The way they responded to that request and came up with thoughts on design around how the functionality could be achieved was simply outstanding and mind boggling and this happened on several occasions.
Divami Design took the project to a level of sophistication that we didn’t originally imagine. They were truly professional and happy to challenge us in a very positive and creative way to explain why they thought the design we were proposing might not be the right fit.
How did Divami Design Labs perform from a project management standpoint?
Project management was alright, but something that could have been better. We originally anticipated a certain duration for the work to be done. We couldn’t finish it on time. The scope of the work also increased during the course of the project.
In that perspective, they kept us informed in terms of how things were going and why they were delayed on the original timelines we were planning for. It took more time than we wanted but the output was good. The output we received justified the delay in the project.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They pay attention to detail. They really think about what our consumers will do, putting the product through a rigorous thought process. The team challenges whatever we say if they think it’s not the right thing. They’re very keen to what our needs are.
At times we may not state the requirements very explicitly but they would help us bring out those unstated, hidden requirements. They would put a lot of thought behind how the user experience should be and came up with a very attractive and compelling UX design for the user journey.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Managing the delivery expectations could have been better. It was good but it’s one area we could improve. The delays and extra work needed could have been notified a bit earlier. The communication around it could have been more frequent and transparent.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
You can trust in the quality you’re going to receive. They’ll amaze you with the quality. The only advice is to have a pragmatic approach towards timelines. I went with tight timelines and in hindsight, I may have done wrong as well because I had underestimated the time needed for the work to be done.
