Prostate Cancer Centre - Donor Campaign
As a grassroots charity, the Prostate Cancer Centre was struggling to increase online donations for their fundraising campaign.
The project used highly targeted Facebook ads using custom audiences based on donor data. These ads leveraged geodata to target potential donors within higher-income neighbourhoods throughout Calgary. We also recommended developing a series of targeted Eblasts and a landing page to update donors on fundraising goals.
The campaign resulted in over $20k in online donations. 30% increase in web traffic.

WinSport was struggling to improve online conversions from their Paid Search and Social Media Campaigns.
Display Digital Marketing chose to use highly targeted Facebook Ad and Google Ad campaigns with a focus on purchase conversions. Using Google Analytics to create custom In-Market audiences. The campaign resulted in increased conversions and return on ad spend.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner and operator of a dog-walking company that offers dog-walking, training, and scoop-it-up services in Calgary.
What challenge were you trying to address with Display Digital Marketing?
We hired Display Digital to get better at marketing. I also wanted to maximize our social media usage, improve our ad copy, and boost our SEO and web traffic.
What was the scope of their involvement?
In our initial consultation, Display Digital and I walked through my goals, my budget, and what we were going to do. Once they understood my goals, we came up with an initial strategy around what we were going to implement and what our timeframes were. From there, we planned what I’d do next and what their team would handle. They didn’t do any structural changes to my website, but they gave me pointers on what to change. I took care of the changes myself.
Moreover, I created user logins for channels such as Facebook to let them manage our social media platforms and PPC efforts. They also researched my competitors in my city and elsewhere to know what they were doing. The team looked at every tier of success for such companies — from the highly successful ones to the less impressive ones. We wanted to know what was and wasn’t working for them to see if we could implement their work within my own strategies.
At present, most of our copy has been rewritten, and they’ve been providing PPC management services for us.

How did you come to work with Display Digital Marketing?
I connected with Sheldon randomly as we were going through social networking channels. We looked at the things we were doing, and I checked out what he did for his company. I decided that Display Digital was a great fit for us because they were personable, which was a huge selling point for me.
I was typically a hesitant person when it came to hiring anyone for my company because it was my baby. However, our conversations, initial meeting, and the pointers from Sheldon all made sense to me as far as the value of their work was concerned. Our engagement stemmed from there.

We started working together in May 2021, and the partnership is ongoing.

We’ve seen improvements on every metric we have, including web traffic and social media growth, interactions, and followers.
How did Display Digital Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?
Display Digital’s project management is excellent. They’ve been highly organized, punctual, and always readily available. When they say they’ll finish tasks, they finish them even before the initially planned deadline — it's perfect. To communicate, we use emails and texts.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Display Digital is great at meeting me where I’m at, and they take my budget into account. They don’t try to upsell me anything, and they work hard to make sure that we’re aligned with my goals. In other words, they do everything they can to help me achieve those goals while being cost-effective.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, there aren’t any. They’ve done such a great job that I can’t think of anything they can do better.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be upfront and honest about your budget. Make sure to allocate enough funds because you can’t hire anyone with no actual budget. On top of that, Sheldon has been truly helpful and well-informed, so following his advice is key to the success of your engagement.
