Insurtech Marketplace for Claim Technology
https://bit.ly/2PWRZ2B
Solution
Our team developed an ecosystem of several applications that used a common API. We underscored product-specific processes as separate services that could be connected to the BPMN workflow engine. Also, we made a special interface for easy data management by the client side without coding. The separately connected services let us achieve the necessary flexibility and compliance with all requirements of the company's business processes.

AI Return & Exchange Assistant
https://bit.ly/3qILnkW
Solution
Having a UI-dashboard and an admin panel that worked for two types of users, admin, and customer, we started with the development of the Shopify plugin. It worked as a store credit system, which was available for users who had made a purchase return before. Now, the shop provides two options for users — a bonus or a cash balance on their account.
The next step was to develop an analytical system of orders and returns for online shop owners. We are still working on adding a Shopify refund feature to the application. In the nearest future, application users also may use cash refund. It creates a good ecosystem for a successful end-user experience in online purchases. It is a win-win situation, the business provides excellent service, and the customers are happy and loyal.

Shopify Store Development for a Garden Plants & Go
https://bit.ly/3bCUVJV
Solution
The client bought the Shopify Theme, and our major scope of work was to provide a redesign, setup new features, and develop a store management system. One of the engaging features was a growing calendar. It helped to track and discover phases of plants growing. We implemented that calendar by using meta fields that were open to be filled out by users.
Another important feature was related to creating a special algorithm for product availability. It also was implemented by using meta fields and Liquid. Depending on the meta field value, an item was shown as available or not, or available for pre-order on the website.

Headless E-commerce Platform for OURA
https://bit.ly/3theZI3
Solution
Our proposed solution was to continue developing the current website by implementing new integrations to existing services and updating the website with new necessary features. Such kind of optimization would save our client money as there was no need to develop everything from scratch.
We developed a new website and integrated it with the old admin panel. One of the core features was using headless architecture. It means that the client could use website content on various applications keeping custom logic by API. It is a necessary feature if the business strives to sell items on marketplaces or third-party applications. The final result was an e-commerce website integrated with Shopify Plus API that operated stock, shipping, and payment service. It helped the business to use the website as a sales tool for various markets in the US and EU.

Management System for American Outlets
https://bit.ly/3vktmgz
Solution
Our team developed the system based on ElasticSearch, Node.Js, and AWS. It enabled adding and editing the distributors' products, adding tags and categories for every item, and helped to make an integration with the supplier database. Moreover, we developed a system of filter configuration that can be used by clients and an affiliate module for product promotion on the marketplace.

Website Performance Optimization for a German Beauty Startup
https://bit.ly/3vgfp39
Solution
The website was built by using Shopify Theme Store Brooklyn, so it includes JavaScript code. It reduced page loading time . We suggested the solution of code refactoring. By removing not optimized JavaScript and unused features, we improved website load speed. The next thing was to create separate websites in a few languages and domain switch setup in one place. It allowed us to remove the third-party app Langify and speed up the website even more.

Migrating User Accounts to a New Shopify-based Website
https://bit.ly/3cjodws
Solution
Our team investigated the request and shared ideas for implementation. We should mention that the basic Shopify functionality doesn't cover this query. So our team was forced to offer a custom solution.
We developed a secured database migration with saving all credentials and purchase history. We did our best to keep the old website URLs for login even when a new website was located on a new domain. As a result, customers use the new website and don't feel any inconvenience.

Migration from an Omnichannel Commerce Platform to Shopify Plus
https://bit.ly/38t1Mnt
Solution
We investigated all options of the Shopify Plus feature that we were going to implement. After that, we realized that it would not work correctly if a business had more than one offline store. Our team suggested developing a hybrid solution using JavaScript. As a result, we delivered a stable working checkout page that configures parameters depending on choosing a pickup store. It contained order notes, payment methods, and prices. Website admins saw all needed order information and could organize logistics of delivering parts to one place.

Shopify Store Development for a Healthy Pet Food Start-up
https://bit.ly/3tbWLHJ
Solution
The key feature of personalization was an online questionnaire with specific algorithms. It helped customers to make the right choice of food for their pets. The first idea of realization was using React application, but finally, our team decided to use vanilla JavaScript with Liquid. That decision saved time and project budget.
The main aim of the online questionnaire for users to fill out was to get maximum pet information. Once it’s filled out, a script runs searching for suitable food. Thus, customers got personalized diet recommendations for pet and could buy a food packet.

Shopify Store Development for Kitchen Knife Manufacturer Artisan Revere
https://bit.ly/3vifNhG
Solution
Providing a great user experience, we offered a gift accurately after a user added items to his/her cart. We found a Liquid-based solution that generates a layout without reloading the page. When the customer chooses items, he/she sees a related gift in the cart and can add it to the order. Moreover, customers who have a discount code can easily enter it into the cart and get goods at a special price. All that stuff is saving and available in a user account and for the website owners.

Cloud RPA Solution for a Modern Law Firm Laurus
https://bit.ly/38AlzkK
Solution
The solution was to introduce digital transformation to the company. It included integration of the BPMN Workflow Engine RPA system for automation of manual tasks and development of two separate applications for gathering, sharing client information and other documentation between the company offices.
We developed a cloud-based platform with two Ul applications and a shared API. The first application was designed for automation of manual tasks. The second application was designed for collecting data from clients automatically and getting a quote for buying or selling a specific property.

Shopify Store Development from Scratch for Scentbird New York
https://bit.ly/3ctH7AZ
Solution
We started working on the project by brainstorming and creating a use-case diagram. Analyzing the holistic user flow, we came up with a few options of how to develop a membership system in the right way.
Our team created "Membership" versions for all items by using JavaScript in combination with Liquid. It helped us to automate checking each user’s membership and change prices on his/her shopping cart. So, if a user paid for community membership, he/she saw the product prices with a discount.
Also, we created a positive user experience through modern UI/UX website design.

The 24/7 Digital Property Assistant and Management Platform for AskPorter
https://bit.ly/3ta8CGg
Solution
We developed a platform where each city resident can sign up in a personal account, send a request for repairs, and track the status. All requests are processed by a representative who is responsible for certain offices, accommodations, and districts. Then, the representative assigns issues to a specialist. Users can track all these processes online.

Shopify Pre-order Plugin
https://bit.ly/2OocF33
Solution
Our team analyzed the issues and technologies that could be used for the realization. Thus, we offered to develop a new Shopify plugin from scratch. It enables three major things:
1. Ordering of subscription-based products.
2. Processing of subscription-based products.
3. Ordering out-of-stock products with delayed payment.

Data Tracking Shopify App
https://bit.ly/3etFxS8
Solution
We suggested developing a custom plugin that would resolve two major issues: integration of the Shopify web store with marketing automation service and detailed user tracking. The plugin enabled clients’ data and order tracking at the moment of changing the shopping cart items, shipment details, and further checkout information. Each time the initial order info was changed, the corresponding data was sent to the app and then to an email service for further processing and storage. The solution was developed according to GDPR standards. Both the customer’s and Shopify store data could be erased.

Dashboard for Evolve Markets
https://bit.ly/3vhcBTc
Solution
The solution we delivered was quite simple. The client granted access to frontend data, and we developed a dashboard. Also, the management tool allowed website administrators to work with data, including management of exchange rates.

Building a Web App for Online Food Ordering
https://bit.ly/32WEQ0o
Solution
To meet our client’s needs, we created a Front-end web application that quickly operates on different mobile devices. It is fully mobile-adapted and works fast on mobile devices, thanks to caching.
The next step was the Back-end development process. We developed the Back-end that is responsible for getting Blain menu data and, when an order is created, transferring it to Blain. We used GraphQL API to connect the Front-end to the Back-end.
We had the task to deal with third-party services to implement the app using the interconnection and data synchronization between Blain, POS system, and Sarah. Sarah is the service providing reviews and scores of items. We created a serverless solution, operating the latest technology stack with the optimal cost and good quality.

PoC Shopify App Development — Online Food Ordering
https://bit.ly/3upUuNb
Solution
To meet our clients’ expectations, we developed two applications: Shopify website and the order status board.
Shopify website allows users to scan a QR code and see the restaurant menu. The checkout page helps clients to make a choice and place an order. After order confirmation, the customer can pay for the order in a simple and secure way.
The order status board displays the current status of every order. The restaurant staff can see and process the orders in real-time. The system provides quick order update and allows the customers to track their orders.
We connected both solutions using AWS Event Bridge. When the order is created on Shopify website it is automatically displayed and saved on the order status board in a “To Do” column. It provides quick and efficient processing.

Monitoring System Development for Security App
https://bit.ly/3s9tfUi
Solution
The main goal was to build a monitoring system to track the activity of devices, analyze and complete the connection between devices, the application, and the monitoring system. Advanced functionality, such as face recognition, activation, and de-activation of geolocation, speech, and noise recognition, is highly valued by customers. It makes a security system more competitive on the market among all others. Our team developed a monitoring dashboard that allows users to:
- track devices and their status;
- review events;
- get information about the device via intelligent alerts wherever the user is;
- view the latest events to make sure everything is okay. Meanwhile, audio and video is recorded and saved for later reviews;
- send and receive notifications for relevant events.

New Shopify-based Website for Sanctuary
https://bit.ly/34vwBsg
Solution
We developed a Shopify Plus store and met our customer’s expectations by creating a user-friendly interface. The site provides the high-speed loading of content rich pages, which is key to keep a good dialogue with the customers and be on the top in search engine rankings.
Moreover, our client wanted to grab visitors’ attention when they looked through the e-store. To achieve it, our team added a unique design tool to the interface design — a special line that appears when the shopper scrolls the screen. We successfully developed it and applied new logic for the line drawing. Now it attracts the client’s attention throughout the process of moving through the site and creates a special user experience. The website pages reflect the quality of the brand and perform well on all screen extensions, allowing for a more logical visual distribution of information.

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the general manager of a health and wellness vitamin and supplement company.
What challenge were you trying to address with DigitalSuits?
We wanted a more robust e-commerce site, so we were looking for a partner with experience with startups that could work with our budget constraints but still deliver a good product.
What was the scope of their involvement?
DigitalSuits did e-commerce development for us from scratch in our old Shopify platform. They built custom themes, implemented new functionalities, and redesigned the whole look and feel of our online presence. In terms of features, they added a subscription functionality and upgraded our entire UI/UX. Regarding design, they did everything based on some Figma designs we drafted and took those to the next level to optimize certain sections of our site.
What is the team composition?
We worked primarily with Artem (CEO), a project manager, a designer, and a team of developers.
How did you come to work with DigitalSuits?
I did a massive vetting process where I talked to around 40 vendors that I found online. I was looking for a company with Shopify experience and chose DigitalSuits as our provider.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from November 2021–February 2022.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They did a great job, and I was delighted with their results and their flexible ability to make changes when I felt indecisive about things. Overall, the look and functionality of the site were great.
How did DigitalSuits perform from a project management standpoint?
They were very patient and responsive with me; I never waited for an answer from their side despite the time differences. In terms of communication, we used video calls and Slack. In addition to that, their ability to communicate in English was great even though they’re based in Ukraine.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I was pleasantly surprised by their design abilities; I was nervous at first, but their design team was sharp, fast, and efficient, even with the development.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t think there’s anything they can improve on — it was a smooth process, and they adapted to our resources.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of JP Bathroom Master LLC, a bath product company.
What challenge were you trying to address with DigitalSuits?
We wanted to revamp our website.
What was the scope of their involvement?
DigitalSuits did web redesign and redevelopment for us from scratch. They helped us migrate from our WooCommerce platform to Shopify. To jumpstart the project, they went through a very thorough discovery process to understand our requirements.
In terms of functionalities, they enabled us to tweak the site as needed easily. Overall, it’s an e-commerce site.
What is the team composition?
We worked with four members of their team, including a project manager, a coder, and Artyom (Owner).
How did you come to work with DigitalSuits?
I interviewed multiple vendors, but I chose DigitalSuits based on their approach and questions throughout the research and discovery process.
How much have you invested in them?
We spent about $10,000 with them.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from February–June 2021.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I’ve only had good experiences with the end product they delivered; my whole team uses and understands the platform, which helps me internally with my sales.
How did DigitalSuits perform from a project management standpoint?
Project management was amazing! In terms of tools, we used spreadsheets, email, phone calls, and video conferencing.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their professionalism was outstanding throughout the process.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There were certain parts of the design that we weren’t thrilled with, but overall, they pulled the right metrics that we needed.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
They were great at eliciting their client’s requirements, so I’d recommend sitting back and enjoying the process.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of a development company building AI recommendation systems.
What challenge were you trying to address with DigitalSuits?
We were looking for a partner that could help us build a Spotify integration and application. We needed a partner well-versed in Shopify and back- and frontend development.
What was the scope of their involvement?
DigitalSuits integrated Shopify with our APIs and then developed a corresponding app for the Shopify App Store. This project connected all of our services and APIs through a Shopify ecosystem.
What is the team composition?
We’ve worked with 4–5 teammates from DigitalSuits, including back- and frontend developers, a project manager, a code reviewer, and a product advisor who works on the app’s UX.
How did you come to work with DigitalSuits?
Not a lot of companies build Shopify apps, so we ended up finding DigitalSuits online. We had several exploratory meetings with them to evaluate their expertise. The price quote they gave us fit our company and our project, so we hired them.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested $35,000–$40,000 with DigitalSuits.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our engagement with DigitalSuits began in October 2021, and it’s ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
DigitalSuits has successfully completed this project, and we’re planning to begin another one quite soon — the app will deploy in just a few weeks. We had quite a complicated project, but DigitalSuits managed to lead and support us during a war.
How did DigitalSuits perform from a project management standpoint?
Despite being in the middle of a war, DigitalSuits’ team has been very responsive and has deployed every aspect of the project on time. They’ve delivered projects within our budget. We use Jira to track project progress and communicate via Slack.
What did you find most impressive about them?
DigitalSuits has excellent communication, and they are very responsive and professional.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I have nothing for DigitalSuits to improve.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I’d advise customers to have a very clear project plan.

Custom Software Dev for Web Development Company
"I’m very happy with DigitalSuits."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
We’re a web development shop based in Japan. We build web and smartphone apps mostly for Japanese clients. I work with our Ukrainian development partners as a bridge or project manager for Japanese clients.
What challenge were you trying to address with DigitalSuits?
I had a project involving Shopify app development, but it was difficult to find partners with deep knowledge of the platform in Japan. We only knew companies who could create Shopify sites without implementing a lot of customization. However, our customer was looking to finish a project that required heavy-duty backend work.
What was the scope of their involvement?
For the first project, DigitalSuits developed a menu and ordering app where restaurant customers could order through their smartphones. Shopify was used as a backend because the client wanted to cut down on development time to complete the proof of concept (POC).
The team is now completing our second project, which has nothing to do with Shopify. They’re using another custom API to complete a musical web app, which allows customers to order things online. The two apps are quite similar on the frontend, but what’s happening on the backend is quite different.
What is the team composition?
I’m the single point of contact on my side, and I serve as a bridge to our clients. On the DigitalSuits side, I normally work with two frontend engineers, 1–2 backend engineers, a part-time DevOps engineer, and a project manager. The DevOps engineer is in charge of setting up the environment and infrastructure.
I’ve also talked to Artem (CEO) at the beginning of a project, and they have a part-time CTO who works with us every few days. He oversees the engagement, helps with decisions on architecture, takes part in decision-making on what type of setup or technology we should use, and more.
How did you come to work with DigitalSuits?
I came across DigitalSuits on Clutch or a similar website. Shopify companies tend to be more-or-less specialized in Shopify, but building custom apps were not their strong suit. As a result, when we found out that Digital Suits had a dedicated team for building custom apps, we decided to hire them. Another consideration we had was their expertise in Shopify.
How much have you invested with them?
The first project cost around $40,000, and they’re going to charge more or less the same for the second one. Right now, they’re charging me around $15,000 per month for the second project, and we’re set to complete it within three months.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our ongoing partnership started in December 2020. Our first project ended in March 2021, and we started another project in mid-August 2021.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The Shopify project worked well, but we faced some limitations with the backend, so it remained in the POC stage for a long time. However, the client was generally happy with what we delivered. We were able to provide them with a unique skill set that was very hard to find in Japan.
On top of that, we made the right decisions around the technologies we needed to build the apps. As a result, they keep hiring us for more projects — it’s not easy, but we’re making solid progress with them.
The good thing about the client is that they’re also a tech company, and the person I’m working with there is a project manager and developer. He’s methodical and doesn’t dump random things on us. They're an easy client to deal with from that standpoint, but they obviously have their expectations, and we’ve exceeded what they wanted to get from us.
How did DigitalSuits perform from a project management standpoint?
I’m very happy with DigitalSuits. They’ve provided us with a different project manager for each of our projects. The manager I’m working with now is young and has made some errors, but she doesn’t get offended when I give feedback. It wasn’t easy in the beginning because we had different expectations and ways of doing things, but we’ve made adjustments, and everything is going smoothly now. In fact, we chat and have become friends with their project manager.
We receive daily update calls from them. We also use tools such as GitHub Issues, Slack, and Google Meet. Overall, DigitalSuits offers a complete package. They have good project management skills, and their CTO is involved with our projects.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re a young company, but they seem to be skilled with different projects. We also like that they don’t just throw engineers at us and let us deal with it. We’ve worked with a lot of companies in Ukraine because their country has a reputation for having good engineers. However, at the end of the day, we have to work with teams; we can’t just hire a super-engineer and have that person do everything.
Additionally, I don’t like pushing them to work overtime, but they’re willing to do it. It shouldn’t be a requirement, but it shows that they’re dedicated.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They’re busy, and resources can be an issue, but that applies to everybody. Despite that, we always make adjustments; if I have a suggestion about the workflow or anything else, we talk about it and find a solution.
Overall, DigitalSuits is pretty good, and I can’t think of anything in particular for them to improve. Building an app isn’t an easy job so I can’t just let them handle it and come back three months later to find everything working perfectly.

I’m a co-founder of a direct-to-consumer e-commerce startup.
What challenge were you trying to address with DigitalSuits?
We needed to develop a website.

We provided designs, which were done with another vendor. They developed our website on Shopify.
They created a custom template to bring our designs to life. They also did API integration and created an algorithm.

How did you come to work with DigitalSuits?
We found them on Clutch. We liked their experience with startups and e-commerce projects, as well as their reasonable pricing. They also had good suggestions for solutions to specific challenges we faced.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent $10,000–$49,999
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working together around July 2020, and the project ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The website is getting traffic, with good conversion rates and sales. We are satisfied with the work they are doing for us.
How did DigitalSuits perform from a project management standpoint?
Overall, they did a good job. We communicate via Slack, and they are extremely responsive.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They have creative solutions and are great problem-solvers. We were happy with the effectiveness of the solutions they presented. They're also dedicated to completing tasks given to them.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They could hire more people to help the project manager avoiding being overloaded. There were times when she was unable to allocate her time as effectively as we would’ve preferred. We also found some minor bugs, so they could pay a bit more attention to detail.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Have clear plans and estimates. Take time on negotiations to make sure everyone is aligned on scope, timelines, and expectations. Stay involved on a daily basis to keep things moving.

I’m the CEO of Claim Technology. We developed the insurance industry’s first claims-as-a-service platform to enable companies to process and create digital claims.
What challenge were you trying to address with DigitalSuits?
We needed help building the claims-as-a-service platform, including the core platform app, a frontend chatbot, a backend case management system, and an API layer integration with third-party systems.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Their team was responsible for the IT architecture, front- and backend web development work for the platform components, and API implementations. The main app is programmed using Ruby on Rails, and the frontend was developed using React.js.
What is the team composition?
In total, I worked with about six developers, including an IT architect, two frontend developers, two backend developers, and a DevOps professional.
How did you come to work with DigitalSuits?
I’d previously done some work with their CTO and co-founder.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent approximately $300,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
The project began in June 2018, and it’s still ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We just launched the platform, so I don’t have any performance metrics. But, the DigitalSuits team has been incredibly invested in the project in terms of the time and energy they put into their work. They always go above and beyond to ensure our project’s success. I appreciate that they only assigned very senior developers to the project, and the quality of the work was great. They were able to come up with clever solutions for implementing new functionalities quickly.
How did DigitalSuits perform from a project management standpoint?
They’ve been good about estimating timelines and generally sticking to them, despite a few exceptions. Originally, DigitalSuits assigned a project manager to help us coordinate everything. I eventually decided to forego that, because I wanted to work directly with the developers.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’ve been very thoughtful about approaching the build, making sure we don’t have to rework elements somewhere down the line. That’s added a lot of value to us.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, we’ve been very happy working with them.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Have detailed specifications and good design assets for the team from the start. The more guidance you can give, the richer your discussion with DigitalSuits can be.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am an operations associate at askporter.
For what projects/services did your company hire DigitalSuits?
We are developing an AI-driven property management SaaS product for tenants, landlords, and facility service providers. We have an in-house AI team but needed an experienced team to build the CRM and connect it with the AI.
What were your goals for this project?
We intend to implement a user-friendly solution that will improve communication among all parties.
How did you select this vendor?
We found them through Upwork. Our CEO chose DigitalSuits based on their relevant experience in developing software for the real estate industry. They were also experienced in designing software architecture; this was essential, as we had only sketch designs and no project specifications or language requirements.
Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.
The project is ongoing. DigitalSuits first designed and developed the CRM architecture according to our core features and designs, which included an AI integration. This AI bot was necessary for creating a workspace for facility service providers to receive and manage tenant or landlord requests.
DigitalSuits delivered the MVP in time for a successful demo. We have continued with product improvement—like adding new features—and have plans to implement more.
What was the team composition?
Two frontend developers and one full stack developer were initially assigned to work with our two AI developers. We added a DevOps and another full stack developer as the scope expanded.
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
DigitalSuits showed us that our product could be even better than we thought. The demo’s launch produced a lot of feedback from people who are now interested in our idea. Some of our desired features seem at times unrealistic to implement, but the development team always proves to us that no idea is too complex to deliver.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
We enjoy working with the assigned manager. He immediately established communication between developers on both sides and organized the workflow in Jira, which helps us monitor the process more efficiently. We communicate via Slack and Zoom and, because their English is very good, we have had no issues.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
DigitalSuits proved themselves to be specialists in their field. Not only was their suggested technology exactly what we needed, but their developers are also in constant contact with ours, which helps prevent potential problems or roadblocks.
Are there any areas for improvement?
No, I don't have any specific areas.
The client is delighted with DigitalSuits' work on delivering a functional e-commerce site. Their patient and responsive approach were key to a solid project management experience. The team also praised their sharp and efficient design skillset.
