I am the Digtal Marketing Manager for GKR Karate iwhich s one of the worlds largest martial arts organizations with 30,000 students training in over 1000 locations across Australia, New Zealand and the UK.
For what projects/services did your company hire The Digital Embassy, and what were your goals?
We engaged The Digtial Embassy to assist with a revamp of our website and implementation of various digtial marketing activities with a view to generating more online enquiries for karate classes.
How did you select The Digital Embassy and what were the deciding factors?
We used referrals from close contacts to short list 3 agengies we were interested in working with. After meeting with all 3 and discussing our needs it was clear that The Digital Embassy were the right fit for the project due to their ability to not only comprehend our requirements clearly but make great suggestions that we had not yet considered.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
The primary website redevelopment was a complex task as it needed to integrate a large number of disjointed assets. The project went through a thorough consultative stage where everything was mapped out in detail before progressing to wireframes and finally rollout onto the Wordpress platform.
Additional marketing activities have focussed on various SEO, Social Media and other tools in the time that has followed since the launch of the site.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We worked closely with a Project Manager who was our primary point of call for the project which made things extremely easy for me as a client. Whilst we had meetings with various experts in the team early on, the Project Manager did a fantastic job of being middle man deciphering any communications between the team and myself.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
SInce engaging The Digital Embassy to assist with our online marketing efforts we have seen dramatic year on year growth in new student enquiries and recruitment most of which is directly attributable to the excellent work of their team.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.
We primarly liase via email with face to face or Zoom meetings as required. I find the team very easy to deal with and communciations are transparent and efficient.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Their abilty to undestand our needs, make great recommendations and deliver clear, mesurable results on time, on budget.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Not at all. We couldn't be happier and hope to have a long relationship with The Digital Embassy into the future.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the CEO of BioHub Solutions Pty Ltd. It is an Australian owned biological company that provides simple, results driven and environmentally responsible soil solutions to Australian agriculture.
For what projects/services did your company hire The Digital Embassy?
Digital Embassy were hired to assist and develop our corporate branding platform and our website.
What were your goals for this project?
The goals for the project was to create a brand that was simple, concise and that was consistent across all external access points for the company. Whether this be literature, emails, and digital access points. They were then charged with developing our website along those lines and will continue to handle these tasks into the future.
How did you select this vendor?
I have been friend with MD of Digital Embassy for a number of years. During this time I have been impressed with the quality of work that his team have produced. I have also been impressed with how they achieve these results. By having a structured, transparent system to look at our requirements and then develop plans around these. To date they have exceeded my expectations.
Describe the scope of their work in detail.
The process started with a number of meeting to outline what our needs were. Then work through our short, medium, and long term branding and marketing goals. Once these were finalised a structured plan for dealing with each of the areas was formulated. Logo's, styles, and scripts were first developed. Once again the openness from the team made the process very simple. This covered off all external and internal documents that the company produces. It also outlined the general corporate theme that was required for our branding consistency.
The website was also developed during this time. The team quickly mobilised for a landing page in a short period of time. This was impressive. After this we worked further to provide frameworks to begin with the next stage. This was completed over a number of months before going live in May 2020. We have a number of future plans for our site and the Digital Embassy will be entrusted with this work.
What was the team composition?
I worked with a predominantly with an Account Manager who oversaw all the processes. There have been other staff responsible for the digital branding and web design. All of these staff have been nothing short of brilliant.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The work to date has had a substantial effect on our business. Feedback from clients and industry professionals is that they have been impressed with the corporate look of the business and the website. It has brought an instant corporate feel and professionalism to the business that would normally take months. It has made the job of my commercial team easier because they have the confidence that material looks professional, which in turn makes the client feel more comfortable during our sales processes.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The workflow has been exceptional. Paul and his team have set up regular meetings during the development phases which has made the experience very easy.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
I have been most impressed by the company's ability to take concepts and transfer them into something tangible simply and effectively. They are open with their thoughts and not afraid to voice opinions if they do not think that it is the best for my company. It is this honesty and accountability that I value when coming to make digital strategies.
Are there any areas for improvement?
As both our companies grow there will be room for improvement I am sure. We will push their boundaries and also understanding of our industry. But to date their business is well suited for our needs and how I do business.
Thanks to The Digital Embassy, the client was able to experience a dramatic year-on-year growth for their inquiries. The team communicates via email, face-to-face, and Zoom meetings. They are easy to deal with and the communication is transparent and effecient.
