Their responsiveness and their ability to thoroughly plan were amazing. The core development was completed on time and on budget, with us being able to add a few changes to our original scope with the budget that was remaining after our core features were developed.

Following are some of the features or qualities that we were looking from an online examination application/platform.
- Easy to use - An online examination application must be comfortable to operate. Its benefits must be enjoyed by the person taking up the test as well as the person who is conducting the test.
- Swift Action Navigating across the pages/operations during an online examination must become an easy operation. It must not be a time-consuming process; rather, it should make the operations swifter and quicker.
- Minimal Cheating There is an argument between the classical examination supporters and the promoters of online examination. The cheating during the online examination must be cut to zero. The scope of taking external help or using any other modes of cheating must be narrowed down by using modern methods of surveillance in the application.
- Tailor-made question papers To avoid the tampering of question papers beforehand, the application must have a provision of using a shuffle system of questions and prepare a unique question paper from the selected question bank. This promotes the aspects of accountability and transparency while conducting the online examination.
- Evaluation and Scores A person taking up the exam must be able to know about the summary of the test given by him/her. I am the director of business development at a digital signage software company. We are a B2B company that provides digital signage services and software applications.
What challenge were you trying to address with Digiprima Technologies?
We were looking to create a web portal to complement one of our existing applications and didn't have the resources to do it in-house.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Digiprima Technologies built the front- and backend of our web portal. The application allows users to log in to their account and gain access to their signing screens that they can then update and deliver. The backend of the website allows us to manage all of the accounts in the database.
Their team used Angular 2.0 and Mongo.DB for our database. Their team worked pretty independently and built the portal in C# and SQL Server.
What is the team composition?
I initially worked with Shubhra (CEO, Digiprima Technologies) and she was a great resource for us. At any time we worked with a frontend developer and a backend developer. At times, she would pull in other resources she had available.
How did you come to work with Digiprima Technologies?
I had worked with Shubhra when she was at another company, but we were connected on LinkedIn. When this project came up, I remembered that she had started her own company. I reached out to her, got details on her new company, and decided to work with her.

Our engagement with Digiprima Technologies ran from October 2017–October 2018.

We’re still in the early stages of marketing our product and offering it to our customers. It’s been up and running relatively bug-free for about a year. There have been no longterm issues with their work and that’s a good sign
How did Digiprima Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?
We were able to work with Digiprima Technologies very closely. Our teams got together once a week at least. Digiprima Technologies would show us updates, enhancements they had made, and take requests from us.
Shubhra was on top of things, especially regarding the schedule. Whenever deadlines weren’t met she was very responsive and pulled out all the stops necessary. She brought in other developers to help us finish on time. I was very happy with her project management skills.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re a smaller company, which meant they were able to invest more fully in our project. I appreciated the access we got to their team members. They were willing to bend over backward to help meet our deadlines. Digiprima Technologies made our project a success, so I’m glad that we went with them.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t have any issues with their work. Every developer has their own way of doing things, but as a whole, I have no negative things to say about what they did for us.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Early on in the process, request direct access to the developers using Skype. Shubhra had no issue providing this to us. After I requested it, it made a really big difference in terms of getting things done. The time difference could have been an issue but was easier to overcome once we had direct access to our developer instead of working through a middle person.
