Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner and director of the True North Health Center, a nonprofit research organization that operates a 70-bed inpatient facility.
What challenge were you trying to address with Digicom?
We initially hired Digicom to do comprehensive network services.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They helped us secure the hardware, installed the network, and secure the custom design software that we used. They also helped us hire programmers for a full scope network integration. They helped us secure websites, hire designers, and install an integrated digital phone system. Also, they helped us secure cable and manage our network security systems, including 30 infrared night cameras that backup to an offsite facility.
What is the team composition?
I work with a whole team. Most support is done remotely. They have people around the world, so I have support at all hours.
How did you come to work with Digicom?
I met the owner when I was giving a presentation. There was a computer snafu, and he bailed me out. We got to talking, and it turns out his company is a perfect fit for what we needed. We’ve been working together for 13 years now!
How much have you invested with them?
It’s probably somewhere around $1,500,000 now.
What is the status of this engagement?
They’ve been the most reliable company so we stick with them. We started 13 years ago in January 2008, and are still together.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’ve grown 50-fold over the past 13 years, and Digicom has been with us every step of the way. Our 13-year engagement speaks volumes about their ability to deliver.
How did Digicom perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re on-time and on-budget always. They’re exceptionally organized and responsive. They’re incredibly detail-oriented. All this leads to them being the most reliable company we’ve ever worked with.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We’ve never had a situation where we go down and they don’t get us back up. It’s shocking how reliable and efficient they are. It’s cost-effective — they always are the most price-effective office. Finally, they’re a team of geniuses. They’re incredibly valuable to our organization.
Are there any areas they could improve?
It would be nice if they had a software team in house, as opposed to relying on outside consultants. They have excellent people they outsource work to, but it’d be even easier if it was in-house.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
You have my unrestricted recommendation. If you’re fortunate enough to work with them, you won’t be sorry.
