We wanted to develop the iOS version of our app called Golistica. It is a mobile app based social platform for the football loving people in Colombia. The app allows users to join the platform, create teams, arrange tournaments & ranks the team. We had the Android version. To make the platform available for the iOS users, we decided to build the iOS version and started finding a capable team who can help us develop and maintain the iOS version of Golistica.

Scope of work: The scope was to develop the iOS version of Golistica mobile app with the same functionalities as the Android version. The main features includes User onboarding, select football skills, create football teams, arrange matches as manager, arrange football tournaments, see rankings and results, keeping track of upcoming and past matches. Deliverables: Fully functional iOS app & source codes. Technologies used: Objective C, iOS SDK, Cocoa Touch, Xcode

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The iOS app was good and well functioning as per our requirement. There was not any major issues. We reported some minor issues and adjustment requests in different times and the vendor fixed those things in a professional manner. The code quality was impressive. Overall, it was a good experience.

We followed Agile method in the whole project from our side. We divided the project in Sprints and set the goals in each sprints and the vendor followed the scope and schedule. We used email & skype as communication channels. For source version controlling and issue tracking, Github was used.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their technical knowledge and ability in the subject matter were impressive. They communicated well throughout the project with attention to details. We are happy with the final product that was delivered.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

It was a big application that took more than 2 years with all the sprints. There was slight delays in a few times in the delivery schedules. That is understandable in large development projects.

I am the co-founder of the company and looks over product development & strategy.

The development & testing process went smooth. Code was written in high standard and tested properly. We didn't face any major bugs in the deliverable & every small feedback was take care of very fast and the vendor helped the app submission & approval process.

Agile project management was followed from both sides. Both parties communicated in timely manner over WhatsApp and Google Meet. The project took around 5 weeks.

GDL Media was referred to Dhrubok through a friend (a developer who had already worked with them). Dhrubok offered a quality output at fair prices. They also communicate quickly and effectively which eliminated uncertainty on our end.

We have 1 main point of contact and his team assists with our needs. WE have worked with a few members of his team and all have communicated effectively and delivered projects on time.

All requests have been delivered on time and on budget. When we agreed on app design, UI/UX was delivered within 5 days and build within 2 weeks. For graphics and assets, the Dhrubok team has provided mock ups within 2 days and the project was completed with 1 week.

Dhrubok communicates through email and video conference. Text chat is also utilized for quicker results.

Their ability to respond to our requests within 24 hours and provide clear and accurate time frames from delivery.
