We had a great experience with DHNN Creative Agency. Unfortunately, we didn’t finish the project because of internal issues within the company, but that wasn’t related to them. Their team was open to understanding company issues and conditions. They were willing to hear us and propose other ideas.

We have a very small UX/UI team in-house, so we needed an agency to support our daily work.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They support our UX/UI of 5–6 different platforms, doing maintenance, some complex elements, and exercises with UX in terms of processes or different journeys.

They’re an extension of our team, providing wireframes and sketches. They also do visual design, wireframing, and frontend visuals.

What is the team composition?

There's a project manager and three full-time designers. The project manager is our main point of contact, but sometimes we have direct contact with the UX/UI designers.

How did you come to work with DHNN Creative Agency?

DHNN was working with a local Avon office in Argentina who was happy with the outcome of their work. When we needed an agency to support global initiatives, we reached out to them and it’s working quite well.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in March 2017 and the work is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They’re quite professional and I like the way they work. They were keen on going through standard processes in terms of wireframing, analyzing the flow, and determining how it should be.

Due to the nature and speed of our projects, we initially were a little resistant and told them we need to go straight to the point. However, they’ve tried to improve the experience of the things we do. We were asking for one specific thing, but they’re always very open to trying to add value. That doesn’t usually happen with other vendors around Europe.     

How did DHNN Creative Agency perform from a project management standpoint?

They adapted to some of the tools we had in place, like Jira and Microsoft Teams and they also included other tools as well. There is a time difference, so we request things during the afternoon or during our morning when they’re not yet at the office and receive them in our evening or by the next morning. It’s quite convenient.

It took us a couple of months to get to a point where we were all happy with the timing. We had a lot of different platforms and audiences, so it was quite difficult to have proper onboarding and understanding of everything. Once they felt comfortable and understood, we were able to start working in a very dynamic and agile way. They’re quite good with deliverables and do extra hours in order to deliver on time.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They provide us three full-time resources, which means we don’t have to go through learning curves with massive rotations of people. They’re a good agency.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there’s nothing I’d have them improve.

For our latest project, we held several briefings and established a four-week timeline. We delivered the mockups, and then they validated the designs and delivered in a timely manner. For the Cablevisión project, they implemented an agile methodology and designed the UI of an on-demand platform. We're launching the current product this week. The Cablevisión project increased queries about business plans and increased the number of authenticated users.

We managed the project in Jira and handled deliveries in Zeplin. Communicating with the project manager was fluid. We had two rounds of feedback before the final delivery.
