At this moment we are collaborating with 2 developers with the intention to grow up the team for future projects.

We start to integrate new technical capabilities into our existing website, enabling us to add and edit we content without needing to rewrite or update any code. The Devlights Software Development Team working with HTML and other technologies to fix SEO technical and content issues to ensure optimized usability, navigation, and functionality, improving the experience for our supporters and followers. The quality in our content, performance and speed improve in 75% in the first stage.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Proactive development team with the ability to work with other cross functional teams around the world, communicate effectively with superiors, colleagues, and staff. Professionals were able to manage the internal tools as Slack and Jira, speak other languages, respect the enterprise environment and integrate existing processes and technologies.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The fast adaptability to work with other cultures that include different time zones, speak another languages and coach another coworkers. Motivated staff that learn and explore new technologies, support and coach other colleagues who are under stress. We are impressed by their capacity to face challenges under different conditions, assuming greater levels of responsibility.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We have the intention to incorporate more developers to our project and have the opportunity to work with designers, PMs and other professionals to expand our collaborations.

I`m the Director of a nonprofit organization in Corrientes, Argentina. Since 2019. Mas Voces is a non profit organization, Whose objective is to work with projects and programs to achieve quality education for the most vulnerable sectors in Corrientes

Our found raising campaings had a better performance with the news landing pages. This landigs were friendly, fresh and with videos, images and asertive cominication.

We had a good experience. The communication was permanent and questions were well delivered. The schedule was successfully met. The tools were mail, whatsapp and phone.

The special atention to the client. We are a non-profit organization, and the devligths accompaniment was optimal. I don't feel differences or delays.

I am CEO of an Optimus in Ecuador, we are a digital marketing company, where we have several clients from different sectors.

For what projects/services did your company hire Devlights, and what were your goals?

We hired the company Devlights to create different applications for the health sector here in Ecuador, generating easy-to-use applications for health doctors and users, generating modernization in their daily processes.

Three applications have been made, all for the health sector in Ecuador. In each of the projects, meetings were established with the client, their needs, objectives, etc. were analyzed. We proceeded to generate a layout of the final product, later the client's approval and start-up for development. All projects had to be done in Ionic, .net core as API, Mongosdb database, cross-platform, angular front end.

The project was well received by the Ministry of Public Health of Ecuador and UNICEF, since these applications help optimize the processes of health doctors in their day to day.

The management of the project was excellent, they met the deadlines every time and we never had communication failures or unexpected delays. For fluid communication, we kept in touch by whatsapp and email.

I was the Product and Technology Director at Entravision. Entravision is a diversified global media, marketing, and technology company that reaches and engages Latino consumers in the U.S. and other markets.

We hired Devlights to develop the new version of our O&O Website “Todo Bebe”. The main goal was to align the content with the rebranding.

After an extensive research, we decided to hire Devlights due to the easily way to align and manage the expectations of the project.

We had a kick-off meeting to define deliverables and expectations. After that, Devlights created full documentation of the project scope and a mock-up of the Website. The development was over Wordpress, including several custom libraries and plugins.

Clients loved the updated design, the traffic increased by 30% and the Ad Sales grow by 2x.

Maybe they can improve their level of English to expand their footprint worldwide.

I'm the co-founder of Behaviour Sense. We are a Behaviour Management platform for schools to track and analyse behavioural patterns.

When a member of our team had to reduce their time commitment to the project, we needed to buff out our engineering capabilities to get the beta version of the product up and running.

Cost and Quality were important to us. On the cost side DevLights were competitive against other options we were looking at. From the quality perspective we had a recommendation, and the team were flexible in working on a trial period.

We have now launched into our beta phase, are pushing marketing and have taken the first step towards commercialising the product.

A lot of agencies you can work with feel like any issue is an opportunity to squeeze the client for money - There was never this feeling with DevLights - when issues were raised, they were fixed in a collaborative and pragmatic manner

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I think we should have been clearer on the priorities of some of the outcomes to be ruthless in prioritising.

I’m an engineer at a data visualization company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Devlights?

We needed someone to build an admin portal for our platform.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Devlights built a series of features to streamline the UX on our existing web portal’s admin platform. We met up with their team weekly to discuss progress and develop new features and deliverables for the site. In terms of technology, they used JavaScript, React components, Aurelia, PostgreSQL, and Node.js.

What is the team composition?

We worked with two members of their team, including a developer and a manager.

A former coworker hired them for this project.

We spent $50,000–$100,000 with them.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from January–July 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They helped us implement all of the features that we needed for our platform, which was great. Overall, our admins were extremely happy with their new workflow and used the new service daily — they couldn’t get by without the features that Devlights created for them.

How did Devlights perform from a project management standpoint?

They were great; communication was always in sync, and their team didn’t need that much directon. They were able to get a grasp of our needs and the requirements we had in mind. In terms of tools, we used GitHub and Microsoft Azure.

What did you find most impressive about them? 

I was impressed with their ability to go from the concept discussion to the MVP, which reflected quickly what we asked.

I don’t think there’s anything they can improve on.

I am the CEO of a healthcare platform.

We needed some development support.

They developed our web and mobile platforms. We provide health care services via text and/or audio messages, and the team installed various functionalities including messaging, image sharing, and more. There’s also a guarantee of data confidentiality.

We started working on this project around August 2019 and our collaboration is ongoing.

The development is great so far. We don’t have extensive results yet as we just started using the platform, but it works perfectly. We’re completely satisfied with the results.

We hired Devlights for development support.

They’ve developed our mobile and web platforms. Their team is responsible for everything from graphics to coding to functionalities.

We’ve worked with about 4–5 people.

I had heard referrals from people who’d developed similar platforms with them. After contacting them I realized they were one of the best companies in the area for a project like this. They were interested too and from there we started working as partners.

We started working together in March 2018 and continue our collaboration.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve had an excellent experience and they exceed our expectations. I knew they’d be good but I didn’t know they’d be so great in every single area, from the most modern designs to the excellent functionalities of the site. Everything is excellent.

How did Devlights perform from a project management standpoint?

We have very fluid communication. They’re always available and we have meetings every week. Whenever we need to consult about something with them, they are there. They are also very punctual with the schedule and meet every deadline.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their availability and resources make them stand out. Sometimes it’s hard to find developers that adapt to the client’s needs, but they always do. They are always available, professional, and committed.

I honestly can’t think of anything.

I work for a public program that helps to provide healthcare to those who lack health insurance coverage. We have 500,000 beneficiaries in the province of Corrientes. We provide these services so people can receive the healthcare appropriate for their age and gender. I’m the IT coordinator, and we develop systems, internally or with the help of consultants for registration and billing processes.

What challenge were you trying to address with Devlights?

We needed help to transition from a manual billing system to an online system for 280 clinics.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They developed an online billing system that allows us to include all of the services provided by the clinics. It also allows us to manage appointments and cancellations. They used .NET and an SQL Server. The development is close to being finished.

The team has three people.

They were recommended by a friend who works in the IT sector as well.

How much have you invested in them?

The whole project cost around 1.9 million Argentine pesos (approximately $64,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them last year. They will continue working the rest of this year and part of next year.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The results have been tremendously positive. This is a complex project as it is part of the public sector and has a particular logic that is hard to understand. They understood the concept clearly and quickly and were able to create the product according to our needs without struggling with concepts. Historically, it has been difficult for us to find firms that understand how we work, but Devlights is exceptional.

How did Devlights perform from a project management standpoint?

They used STRAP. We had meetings every 15 days to review progress and set goals. In general, it was great. Our program coordinator and I are happy with them.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their project manager understood the concept of our project immediately which enabled us to start working on the design right away. He showed a lot of professionalism and was always open to changes, and that was very positive. Being a public company, it’s hard for programmers who work mostly with private companies to understand as we have a dramatically different way of functioning.

We're a nonprofit based in Argentina. Employees provide psychopedagogy services for couples and groups, focusing on personal growth and interpersonal relations, and part of our income goes to the organization. I work independently for the organization, which charges for the use of the brand and materials.

Devlights helped me develop a management system.

They built a management to process information, track individuals’ work, and generate statistics. This system allows professionals across the country to upload information about their activities. Since we have internal classifications, the organization needed a custom system to follow up on work and determine payments.

We were in touch with several people. I'm not sure if anyone else was involved.

How did you come to work with Devlights?

I had worked with them before in my previous job, where we developed a website with the company founder. They also worked with a mutual friend who said they were doing a great job. When this project came up, I thought of them. After I contacted them, they gave us a good budget, so we decided to work with them

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked with them from July 2016 to March 2017.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We can register all the information we need in a much easier, more user-friendly way. That was very important since not everyone involved in the organization has great technical skills. At first we had some issues with the speed of the system, but their improvements were very attentive. Now the speed is great.

Our organization is international, with a presence in many countries. Professionals from other countries have asked us about our system and are interested in using it, so it may soon be used in other Latin American countries.

The project was difficult because we had a very unique organization system. It was hard for us to clarify our needs, since we aren't well-versed in technology. However, they were always willing to listen.
