intilio: Construction project management app
Intilio is a simple and intuitive solution dedicated to small and medium-sized construction companies. It supports the contractors, employees, and customers. This solution makes any construction project management easy and efficient.
It allows users to control tasks and workflow of each project, quickly add changes and minimize mistakes. We’re working on this project together with industry experts, it utilizes their many years of experience in construction project management.
We have gathered all needed information together - service process, business maps, and much more - during a 5-day workshop. It was the first stage of the product development process.
Then, we’ve defined 5 most important business processes, key product features, key resources, MVP and IT tools needed to lunch this project. To be sure that the solution would be a perfect fit for the target group, we performed prototype tests and user interviews.

Open Mobi: CRM, analytics and ad management
Open Mobi is a campaign management tool that gathers data from four different advertising platforms and integrates them into one analytics panel and CRM solution. Thanks to Open Mobi you can create reports and boost your campaign effectiveness with one click.
Before the first pixel of design or first line of code is written we performed a workshop. As always, our team collected the necessary information for a successful project outcome. We were responsible for full-stack software development, UX design and UI design, data integration, prototyping, competitive research and benchmarking - the full scope.
Effects? One ad management panel integrating all the data streams from different ad platforms and unified reporting schemes. An awesome tool for any marketer.

First eco oriented crowdfunding platform
Planet Heroes is a platform for the global community of people who care about the environment. It’s a web crowdfunding platform for those who are ready to roll up their sleeves and act or support some eco-projects financially.
At first, we were responsible for two-days strategic and project development workshops to determine MVP. Then, we tested our assumptions with prototypes. With the entire project scope including the website, payment system, and internal wallet... we started coding.
In the end, we designed and programmed from scratch The Planet Heroes digital platform with the most appropriate web technologies: HTML +CSS, Angular, Vue.js, React.js and JavaScript.

Mobile & web application for remote learning
PaySteer is a space for free and secure communication tool for companies and individuals that allows the experts to share their knowledge. It is supposed to lead to networking, building relationships, and earning by sharing knowledge.
Our task was to create a mobile & web app connecting service recipients with service providers - specialists in their fields that can support the market of remote learning.
We were responsible for the entire development process, including wireframe researching, secure information flow within the app. We also created an internal chat between users.
We designed and programmed it all from scratch with technologies like: HTML + CSS, Angular, Vue.js, React.js and JavaScript.

A dedicated website and software integration
Skanska is the world leader in the construction sector from Sweden. The Polish version of the Homes by Skanska website is a database of all available apartments. Allowing the customers to purchase them directly from the developer.
In this project, we were responsible for layouts, UX & UI design and integration of the website with the company's internal CRM.
We did wireframe research, A/B testing, prototyping and ultimately created a web design to increase conversion rates and improve customer experience. Thanks to the CRM integration the website also supports the work of sales and marketing departments.
Here it was optimal to use WordPress technology in which we are not afraid to call ourselves experts.

e-learning platform with thousands of users
IPMA is an international association promoting project management insight. It unites project managers allowing them to share their knowledge.
In this endeavor, we were responsible for designing and programming an e-learning platform to host IPMA online courses.
From the ground up, we created a system bringing together project management professionals from around the world.
Here you can find courses and events organized by IPMA partners, gain virtual Badges issued by IPMA, and obtain IPMA certification.
Here it was best to use PHP, Symfony Framework and React.js technology in which we also love to work.

Dakea: Website and customer loyalty app
Dakea is one of the brands belonging to the Danish concern VKR Holdings. Dakea is one of the largest manufacturers of roof windows and accessories in Central Europe. Its products are available in 12 European countries and growing.
In this project, we were responsible for a few features. The brands' website and the Dakea Pro.App, a customer loyalty mobile app to collect digital rewards.
The website is based on WordPress and supports 8 language versions, including PL, UK and others from the CEE region.
The mobile application for Dakea's clients, "Dakea Pro.app", is a loyalty program for roofers who can collect points by scanning QR codes from Dakea products. Through an app in the internal store, they can redeem the points for prizes. Additionally, the app makes it easy to contact Dakea customer service.
The app was developed from scratch using React Native and PHP Symfony technologies.

BNP Paribas: Software solutions for leading bank
We’re working with bank’s marketing department providing them with wide range of software solutions. We’ve developed a series of different websites and custom software for one of world’s leading banks.
“Business in Neibourgood” was a platform for SMB that was used by almost 5000 companies to offer their goods and special promotional offers.
Another project worth mentioning is “Rockets for kids” which was national contests for schools and their pupils. We’ve developed full solution including anti-fraud mechanisms. Submissions to this contest generated few millions of votes and huge amount of video content.
We’ve also created from scratch Facebook chatbot for BNP Paribas that was using natural language processing in order to support clients with their most common problems. Thanks to our chatbot we’ve managed to automate almost 40% of questions that users where asking on bank’s Facebook fan page and Messenger.

Web application and other development services
We work with the International Project Management Association on wide array of software development projects from simple websites to mission-critical systems and applications.
The most important project we did for IPMA is the Certificate Information System that is responsible for the management of 240 000 project manager’s certificates around the world. The system is crucial for communication between IPMA HQ, local (country-level) members associations, and certification organizations. Our solutions is used in 67 countries around the world. The system that we developed is responsible for crucial processes, like:
- reporting: sales, members, certificates, training programs
- certification documents workflow
- invoicing

- sales and marketing planning

Website and software development
We were hired for multitude of projects and tasks at PPE. Develtio is PPE’s leading development partner for marketing and automation purposes. During our cooperation with PPE, we provided them with:
- Wireframes, design, and development of our main website and it’s integration with the CRM system.
- The website also contained “Energy calculator” which could estimate money saved by the client if he’d switch to PPE. This feature builds the energy consumption profile of the specific customer and gives him back a precise amount of money he can save.
- Group of landing pages for ad campaigns,
- Automation that fulfills daily back-office tasks at PPE and creates reports about the results of these tasks on manager’s e-mails

Hitachi: B2B Loyalty program, Intranet and website for four markets
The purpose of this project was to boost sales and provide full product information to four European markets. We achieved that thanks to custom-made loyalty program and new wesbsite. This project was awarded as IT project of the year in Hitachi. We’ve also built bespoke intranet solution that made it easy for Hitachi distributors to get most relevant information about prodcuts, updates and changes. Intranet became promary depository of documents, specifications and sales materials for our client’s partners.

Opel AutoŻoliborz: Website that sells + integrations with car classifieds
Our task at Opel AutoŻoliborz was to deliver better website experience and to create integrations and website sales funnel to help the sales department. In order to achieve that we designed and conducted a series of A/B testing experiments and delivered a completely new wireframe, design and then the final website that had much higher conversion rate than previous iterations.
We managed to boost Opel AŻ SEO results. Website was very effective in terms of lead generation. We’ve saved lot of client’s time in the following months as well because employees didn’t have to manually add used cars offers to all the different classified services.

Our mission is to deliver affordable daylight solutions and flexible customer support. Created for professionals, the Dakea range offers quality roof windows, blinds, and accessories that are designed to work in every possible situation.
For what projects/services did your company hire Develtio?
We wanted to create application for the roofers/installers. Scalable solution available in selected countries. Professionals, roofers and installers working most of the week, sometimes during the weekends, when the season is high.
They are self-employed or run their own businesses with competence being their core differentiation (they are eager to learn new things and they like tech details). This group does not have much time to consume media, they are mostly using their mobile phones to handle their business, participate in conversations on FB (mostly in close groups regarding their branch). In high season they spend most of the time out of the office, thus mobility is key part for them.
What were your goals for this project?
In order for Dakea brand to continue to grow, we needed to have a consistent branded approach to our TA through multiple touch points. Such approach enables Dakea to gain a greater share of wallet, while supporting both, existing and new customers. In fact, the platform’s value to users will become greater, as the number of users continues to grow. Application should enable sustainable growth of Dakea brand.
The application itself should be unique tool vs. any other programs/platforms/tools available on the market. Gathering all useful modules/functionalities in one place in order to keep complexity of the application and have unique value proposition for the target group.
How did you select this vendor?
Base on the market research and the portfolio we have chosen 4 agencies to the pitch. Mandatory for taking part in the pitch was provide solution that will include all described in the brief functionalities with clear description of the mechanism, actions and items included and interaction between modules.
Of course suggested solution had to meet the budget criteria and be cost effective in terms of the maintaining and further development. We have decided to chose Develtio from among of the other agencies base on the matched needs from the brief to the provided offer, but also on the fact that we had already started with this company one project - webpage for Dakea brand. It was easier for the agency to deeper understand our business goals, communication with the Target Group and overall touch and feel of the brand.
Describe the project in detail.
Once we have selected Develtio as our partner for this project we have organized workshops to define customer journey path and match the needs from all of markets in terms of the functionalities. As next steps agency worked on the functional UX mock-ups. We have decided also to contract Develtio also for the scope of the creative work - name of the application, logo, brand book and POSM.
As the agency was simultaneously working on the web page for Dakea brand they were also presenting us solutions that could be crossed between app and page. Before application was released to a UK market we have performed with agency and our Sales Team tests. Launch in UK was followed by further work on the CEE versions. Currently the application is available in WE and CEE and we are still working with Develtio on the further development of this tool.
What was the team composition?
The team consisted of a IT Project Manager with whom we had direct contact, a team of UI designers, React Native Developers, PHP Developers and DevOps Engineer. The first stage, there was a workshop with a Digital Consultant and a Project Manager to create product vision.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The application is in initial stage of implementation on all markets, thus revision of the established KPIs is not possible yet. From the perspective of our Sales Team as for the most roofers the application is easy to use, they can easily register the roof windows in the loyalty program that is one of the functionality in application.
As also extend the guarantee to 20 years for the end user directly from the application (this is a part of the another project that we have decided to conduct with agency). We are in second phase of the app development and the progress of the work meets our needs and CPS.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The Project Manager assigned for the Dakea brand keeps the communication between us and the rest of agency which is very convenient as she holds all of the information that are shared from the different member of our marketing team.
Management of the project is effective - we have status calls once a week + ongoing daily communication on the Slack. Agency is reacting on the any technical challenges (base on the SLA). Develtio support us also on the creative side with preparation of the social media communication and POS materials. From my point collaboration is effective.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m a co-owner and the CEO of Planet Rescue. We run an eco-crowdfunding platform that allows us to receive support from the community for environmental clean-up actions. We operate in roughly 140 countries.
What challenge were you trying to address with GBX Soft | Software House?
We came to them with an overall idea and legal setup for our platform, but we didn’t know how to build it on the IT side.
What was the scope of their involvement?
GBX Soft | Software House built our web platform.
They had an initial workshop with us. It involved the whole team from our side and about five people from GBX Soft | Software House. We spent a week to define the MVP version of the product. Their team helped us identify what’s possible from an IT perspective given our business needs and budget.
Once we decided to go through with the project, GBX Soft | Software House provided us with mockups for the whole system. Later on, they built the web application on AngularJS. They helped us implement a payment solution as well; they participated in the correspondence with our payment provider, MangoPay.
What is the team composition?
The team fluctuated between 5–10 people during the project. We had a single point of contact.
How did you come to work with GBX Soft | Software House?
When I was running an IT company a number of years ago, I outsourced some tasks to their team and was pretty happy with the results. When we started this project, I sent them the information and asked for a price.
We decided to work with GBX Soft | Software House based on their price and availability. We contacted multiple companies, and the pricing we received was three times what GBX Soft | Software House quoted us. The quality could’ve been a bit better, but I didn’t feel that the difference would be so massive to compensate for the pricing difference.
What is the status of this engagement?
The project started in May 2019 and took 3–4 months. The product is live, but we still have a number of functionalities to develop. We have a limited number of hours with GBX Soft | Software House—around 20 per week—to maintain the platform.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
GBX Soft | Software House was so involved with our project that they even organized clean-up actions on their own and published them on our website.
There were some bugs in the final product that they delivered, but it was a small and acceptable number to us. They fixed the bugs quickly, and the quality-price ratio was great. Considering the price and the timeline of the project, I’m very satisfied.
How did GBX Soft | Software House perform from a project management standpoint?
We used the scrum methodology, which let us make a number of adjustments during the project. We weren’t aware of details like the payment provider, tax issues, and other things in the beginning. GBX Soft | Software House helped us through those adjustments without a problem.
We had scheduled calls twice a week, but we also were in contact with our point of contact almost every day during the project using communication channels on Slack. We all used ActiveCollab so that we could see what they were doing every day. That way, I didn’t have to call GBX Soft | Software House every single day and ask what tasks they had finished and what they were working on now.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I’ve run a number of IT projects with different companies. Working with companies based in large cities tends to be much more expensive, complicated, and time-consuming. GBX Soft | Software House isn’t located in a big city so working with them was much smoother. I run 3–4 other crowdfunding businesses in Europe, and I’m thinking about changing our IT vendors to GBX Soft | Software House.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t see anything from my side that would need to be improved.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
I’d definitely recommend starting with an MVP workshop. The ones provided by GBX Soft | Software House are very good quality for the results and costs we saw. We can spend $5,000–$10,000 and solve problems worth $20,000 in development costs.

They provided us with services: analysis of old website and our business goals; wireframes; layout design; development; testing; SLA. The site had an advanced search engine for various types of files and entries categorizing them by categories. The extranet was implemented for 3 types of users, within which everyone received information dedicated to their group.
As part of the extranet, other product cards were designed to help professionals get to the information they need, such as CAD files, warranty cards, assembly instructions, and everything was available for years and models. The loyalty system that was created for Hitachi partners was integrated with the ERP system and the loyalty program reward provider, thanks to which the loyalty program process was maintenance-free on the Hitachi side. An important point was the division into groups of partners depending on the volume of sales and marketing automation functionality implemented directly in the loyalty program reminding, for example, that the user has not logged in long and received additional points for logging in and messages informing about periodic promotional campaigns that multiplied the points scored on certain dates.

"Pogromcy upału.pl" is a series of promotional activities related to the game of the same title, whose main character is Chłodzimierz, the new brand hero of the brand Koral. The goal of the game is to get the highest number of points during the action, i.e. until August 31. The main prize at a rate of 20,000 is at stake. PLN and 50 other cash prizes, as well as weekly guaranteed prizes - 43 Alcatel smartphones.
The game "Heat Conquerors" can be downloaded as an application from Google Play or the App Store. You can also play it online, on the website www.pogromcyupalu.pl or at one of the events at the seaside Roadshow. A truck specially prepared for needs will visit Jastarnia, Władysławowo and Międzyzdroje, where, in addition to taking part in gameplay at specially prepared multimedia game terminals, you will be able to relax in the chillout zone and cool with free ice cream and cold drinks.
The promotional campaign includes advertising spots and broadcasts of events at RMF MAXXX, sponsor billboards at Polsat, POS materials and advertising at beach changing rooms. On the Internet, "Heat Conquerors" will be advertised on the Google Network, via Facebook Ads and social media communication. Popular YouTubers will also support the campaign.

Our company is growing very quickly and at some point, we felt the need to implement a system that will organize our processes. The biggest challenge was managing project processes because we have various departments working in different methodologies. In addition, the system also had to fulfill the role of sales CRM and HelpDesk for our clients.
What were your goals for this project?
The system we wanted to create had to be tailored to our internal processes, be intuitive and stable, and had to allow constant work on mobile devices. An additional indicator was the use of cloud technologies providing unlimited server resources, as well as cyclical backup and technical support from the contractor for a minimum of 5 years.
How did you select this vendor?
GBX Soft has prepared for us a very comprehensive offer to create a system, which already contained a preliminary analysis of our processes, met all our assumed and additionally offered a very interesting and modern software interface. The proposed solution was to be dedicated to our needs, which also positively influenced our decision - other contractors offered ready solutions.
Describe the project in detail.
The GBX Soft team conducted a pre-implementation analysis of all processes prevailing in our company, prepared solutions for existing organizational problems and then created documentation for the entire solution.
In the next step, we set the details and started working in weekly sprints. The time of software development was important for us - we planned a maximum of 4 months for the implementation of the system and GBX Soft perfectly fit the set date.
During the weekly sprints we discussed in detail the next functional elements, we created a graphical interface and separated tasks for developers according to their priorities.
What was the team composition?
The project team consisted of 9 people - 1 SCRUM Master, 1 UX / UI Designer and, programmers. In the early stages, analysts were also involved instead of programmers.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Our solution was developed and launched in predicted deadline. Timing and communication between our company and GBX Soft were perfectly planned. We signed SLA for 5 years because we’re certain that GBX Soft will be a reliable partner to develop and support our system. After we launched the project, our organization works more efficiently and also we are more competitive than other agencies because of our HelpDesk module.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Project management and communication during sprints was, at a very high level. We were in constant contact, the team always answered our question and we were able to advise in every situation. We used Active Collab to separate tasks and save findings. Graphic issues and the proposed interface presented in InVision and created code processed on the BitBucket repository.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
The sales process in our company before the implementation of the system was chaotic. GBX Soft not only analyzed the process and advised us what to change and improve, but created a perfectly matched process in the CRM system, which now allows us to have full control over sales at every stage of conversations with our client.

There is very little they could improve – in my opinion they should have a more sense of humor :)

We hired GBX Soft company to create a mobile game for Android/iOS connected with information campaign related to the alcohol problem among young people and two mobile apps for Android/iOS related to health eating.
What were your goals for this project?
The goal of our cooperation was to create modern solutions whose task was to be to make the public aware of health issues and promote health-promoting behaviors. We wanted the resulting products to engage people to active participation and be easy to use without losing the visual aspect.
How did you select this vendor?
The company was recommended to us by a friend who has been working with GBX Soft for a long time. After seeing the detailed offer We knew that this is the company with witch we want to cooperate.
Describe the project in detail.
The GBX Soft team has met all the assumptions. All changes were discussed on an ongoing basis. Regular sprint allowed each of the parties to be fully involved in the product development process. Thanks to the mobile game witch was part of information campaign interest in the alcohol problem of young people increased. When it comes to mobile applications they are very popular and constantly make new aware of healthy eating.
What was the team composition?
The project team consisted of young with a huge knowledge. They are specialists in their field. Everything was controlled by a well-organized project manager who coordinated all the work.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Thanks to products made by GBX Soft we can talk about health problems that affect children and adults on a larger scale. Diseases and addictions that affect people are often overlooked in everyday life. Constant education in this subject is very important and thanks to the available tools we have such an opportunity on a large scale.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The entire creation process went efficiently, everything was going according to the plan. Thanks to constant and clear communication and problem solving we were constantly satisfied with the final result.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
I was impressed with their knowlegde and professional approach. They were very helpful at every stage of work, we didn’t have any problems during our cooperation. They proposed interesting custom solutions tailored to our needs.

Develtio presented us with possible ways to go in order to automate Messenger communication process. We choose one of them. Develio analyzed what were the most common questions and problems asked in the Messenger channel. After that we did brainstorming session and analysis of most important problems to solve.
Next stage was making video mockups of conversational scenarios they prepared for us. After that was programming and implementation on our Messenger. After few months we were ready to start natural language understanding implementation and we managed to further automate customer service with solution that can talk to customers

We’ve automated most of the questions asked on Messenger and manage to speed up our reaction time to customer queries from few minutes to instant. It helped us boost satisfaction and build an image of a modern institution.

We are the biggest agency in Poland with three specializations: creating digital products, creating big campaings for biggest brands and transforming businesses/consulting for the biggest companies. We have to create part of the online campaign for one of our biggest client - FMCG industry. First part was lead acquisition through website and second one was activation of the users through web browser based game - all was part of the campaign introducing the new product to the market. This was one of whole campaing.
What were your goals for this project?
Our goal was creating landing page for campaing for the first part and after that prepares web browser based game where users can win prizes, which was directly connected with new product and whole marketing campaign.

In k2 we have many suppliers that we use for our projects. This time we take offers from them, for makeing this project and internally we chose best offer, based on our metrics (price, contractor experience, knowledge of technology we are using in this project, etc.) and experience of cooperation with this subcontractor.

Project was part of big marketing campaign. Products which we create during our cooperation was landing page and web browser based game/application.
What was the team composition?
We have 5 peoples on K2 side (graphic designer, UX designer, technical leader, PM and QA). On GBX side we have PM/Account and several developers (frontend and backend developers and QA).
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
We have successfully built products that were elements of the entire project and run whole campaign without any issues. Our goal was lead gathering , we have our KPI's and we made more than we assume on the beggining of the project. In summary, the whole project has been a success.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
We meet on workshops on the begining of the project, when we described and explaing whole project scope and goals we have. During development period, we have several calls and daily statuses via phone or e-mail, that we all know what is the project progress. We work using Slack, Redmine task tracker customized for that kind of projects.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Engagement to the project, agility and responsibility of the project and of course such obvious things like quick and correct development, recommendations/consulting during development period, close cooperation with knowledge transfer.
Are there any areas for improvement?
As always we see areas for improvement, because we all know that perfect projects doesn't exist, but during this cooperation only issues we have was with communication - we work in two different cities, so we were facing all kinds of communication problems which are typical for remote teams. That's the thing that we need to work on during next projects which we expecting in the future.

For what projects/services did your company hire Develtio, and what were your goals?
We hired Develtio to update our website, due to recent changes in our company strategy. The challenge was to design and create an attractive website that will allow us to stand out among the competition, be remembered and clearly present the key information about our services.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
I had a chance to experience the professional attitude of the company management in the past. I thought that I will experience the same level of dedication to the customer's needs - and I was not disappointed

At the initial stage, we shared the new marketing materials, updated visual identity, and had several introductory meetings that allowed Develtio to understand our needs. They asked what we like and what we seek in web design. And found multiple real examples of how things can be presented. They designed our new website in the Figma tool - that I find very well suited for online collaboration. We did several iterations of improvements and re-design. And then the website was developed, based on the WordPress CMS. Everything was high quality.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
I worked directly with a Project Manager, UX/UI Designer, and WordPress Developer. But other people were working in the background on our project, including front-end developers and content specialist.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
First impressions are really good. The results have reached our high expectations. For the measurable outcomes, we will need some time.

We had regular calls in a friendly atmosphere. Frequent e-mails. The Develtio team was there for me, anytime I needed it. On the other hand, they were not taking more time than was required - which is a benefit for me.

They did really great work and I know that it was not easy.
While the work is ongoing, the results thus far have met the expectations of the internal team. Develtio establishes a smooth workflow through regular meetings and communication. The team is hard-working, personable, and innovative.
