Their project management was good. To communicate, we used phone calls and Zoom.

Their biggest strength was their ability to listen to the customer.

No, there weren’t any.

I am the co-owner of Circle Engineering. We design high-end audio electronics for the home theater market.

What challenge were you trying to address with Designo Graphy?

We had developed a crude mobile application ourselves, but it wasn’t very graphically pleasing, and the functionality wasn’t great. App development isn’t our expertise, so we were looking for a partner who could improve the application to make it look better and more professional.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We had already developed the application's base, and Designo Graphy added to it. We had a vision for what we wanted the application to look like, which we shared with them. They took the specifications from our existing application and developed a new look for it, making it more user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing. 

Designo Graphy developed the app for iOS and Android and designed the functionality for devices of different sizes. The app controls functions within the home theater entertainment system that we created. Users can configure their home theater systems to the application, which manages everything, including volume, display, channels, inputs, speakers, and sound modes. The app essentially replaces a remote control and allows users to operate their home theater system through their iPad, tablet or phone instead.

We worked directly with two Designo Graphy team members, including Tariq (CEO) and a developer.

We found Designo Graphy online. We were looking for a local partner so we could support our economy and fellow small businesses. We requested quotes from Designo Graphy and others and moved forward with them because we aligned on cost and timeline. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working with Designo Graphy in May 2022, and they completed the project in July 2022.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Designo Graphy made the application look much better and more finished and significantly improved the functionality. We’re happy with the result and how quickly they delivered the application.

How did Designo Graphy perform from a project management standpoint?

Designo Graphy managed the project well; their quality of work and communication was good. We were under a time crunch and needed the project to move quickly. They agreed to complete the project within our tight time frame and succeeded. They were communicative partners and always kept us updated. 

We extended their project scope, and they worked with us to revisit the specifications. They communicated especially well when we reached the testing stage at the end of the project. We typically communicated via email, phone calls, and Google Meet. I was very happy with the partnership. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their biggest strength is their communication. Designo Graphy stayed on top of the project and quickly informed us of any potential delays or roadblocks.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I only have one area for improvement. There were a couple of requirements that we thought they understood, and I wish they had communicated when they weren’t sure about something so we could avoid a misunderstanding.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I would suggest being very clear about requirements and specifications to ensure both sides are on the same page and completely understand the project.

I’m the owner and president of Lubana Trucking Inc. We transport loads and run our flatbed and reefer driving operations within Canada and the US. We also provide brokerage services to the logistics departments of shippers and other carriers.

What challenge were you trying to address with Designo Graphy?

We needed help to establish an online presence that ranked on Google. We wanted to appear on the search results page when users look up brokerage services or transportation reefer.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Designo Graphy provides SEO services for us. They keep our website updated, checking it from time to time so visitors can have a good view of what we offer. They’ve developed the website from scratch and provided the domain and a cloud-based backup.

We work with 3–4 people from their team, but we mainly deal with the owner. 

How did you come to work with Designo Graphy?

I found them through Google. Other vendors gave me different quotes and weren’t upfront about the costs. Designo Graphy explained the hidden fees and was honest from day one. They were very transparent about my options.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent under $5,000 CAD (approximately $4,000 USD).  

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in February 2022. They completed the website by the end of the month, but our collaboration is still ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We receive a lot of calls thanks to their SEO work. They occasionally send me information about my website’s performance and how much traffic is coming in. We’ve also had over a 50% increase in following.

How did Designo Graphy perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re excellent in this regard. If we need something at 8:00 p.m. my time, they always answer. When they’re unavailable, they get back to me as soon as possible. We communicate over email and WhatsApp.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re really good at following up. Even after completing the website, they’ve kept checking in every month to tell me how things are going and provide recommendations to improve. I don’t see many other vendors reaching out once the project is completed. Moreover, they're knowledgeable and good at what they do. Our website is pretty advanced.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, they showed me everything before publishing the website, and I provided the changes I wanted before it went live.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Just tell them what you need. Even if your website is completed, they won't mind returning and re-editing things. They’ll give you what you want.

I’m the owner of a residential and commercial landscaping supply and installation company.

We hired Designo Graphy to create a website where our customers could see our services. 

What was the scope of their involvement?

Designo Graphy has developed my website and given it various features, including a chat option. They help me with content creation, but they mostly use what I provide. Overall, the team walks me through what they need from me. They’ve also done the design and colors of the website, but I already have a logo design.

Designo Graphy is awesome. The team is truly good, and I’d refer them to anybody. I couldn’t visualize the website at first, but they’ve built what I need. If some things don’t line up with what I envision, they change or adjust them right away. They’re good that way. 

How did Designo Graphy perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management has been good. Everything has been clear, and they’ve exceeded expectations. On top of that, our main point of contact is truly responsive no matter the day or time — he always gets back to me. 

Overall, having one point of contact is good because things get done fast. Whenever I give him tasks, he does them right away. To communicate, we talk over the phone, on WhatsApp, and by email. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Designo Graphy’s clear communication is awesome. They’ve walked me through the process, and the team has been fair with pricing. I’ve used other companies in the past, and it’s usually hard to know what we’re going to get for what we pay. Vendors will tell us a certain price for creating a website, and then there will be additional costs — the project then ends up costing more than that we expect. 

By contrast, Designo Graphy has everything laid out. I’ve paid for a couple of extra tasks, but they’ve been truly fair with the overall cost. Other people have good reviews online, but they only want to make more money. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there aren’t any. They’ve been truly good. In fact, I’ve been the one who’s delayed the project because it takes me some time to give them the information they need. Every time I do give them what they need, they work right away.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I’ll refer Designo Graphy to anybody, but you must have all the necessary information together to start the engagement. In our experience, I’ve jumped the gun a little bit; the project has been delayed a bit because I don’t have all the necessary information in terms of what I want.

They are good at project management. As per the contract we only had two revisions to go with, but they let us revise it 4 times with NO extra cost.
