NMEP Custom Software (LMIS, MIS) Development
Overview
National Malaria Elimination Program (NMEP) under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) is responsible for malaria elimination activities in Bangladesh.
Project Goal
NMEP as a client required a management information system (MIS) and a logistics management information system (LMIS) to store all the program's data. The objectives included CRUD operations for a few modules, unique user-specific actions, product stock updates, and report access to organizations.
Contribution
The project was broken down into phases, each of which served as a checkpoint. We were updated after each phase, and consent was required to proceed to the next.
Database administration became more accessible and efficient when the MIS and LMIS were built and updated on the program's website. Users got a more advanced and enhanced account management interface.

Overview
A2I being the flagship program of the Digital Bangladesh Agenda brings out several innovations which ease the lives of people in Bangladesh in several ways. During the Coronavirus pandemic, an initiative was taken by A2I and Government Agencies to innovate and develop a digital communication and informative platform in order to raise awareness.
Project Goal
The project's goal was to create a powerful, responsive, and optimized website that would serve as the primary source of information for both patients and other interested individuals.
Contribution
Our team at Dcastalia worked with a group of professionals from their team to develop the robust website and its required functionalities through research, analysis,, and good communication. The team's approach to the project was to create a good User Interface Design through a series of strategic workshops, conduct strategic and requirements analysis meetings for the website, and develop the portal, which was then applied to user testing and quality assurance for performance optimization.
We created an interactive and adaptable website that allows users to navigate through different site areas simpler. We concentrated on providing users with a source of pleasure.

Shanta Holdings Website Design and Development

Shanta Holdings Limited, a leading real estate, famous for its eye-catching residential & commercial projects. We had the opportunity to work as the web design and development partner to build multiple websites and web applications for them.
Project Goal:
The goal was to design a user experience that enables the user to navigate throughout the website with ease. The branding and color scheme had to remain consistent, delivering a more high-end, elegant feel as it needed to appeal to a niche audience.
Contribution:

Elite Paint is the pioneer paint company specialized in multi-mode paint production suitable for building exterior & interior. They needed to design and develop a brand new website for their digital campaigns.

To redesign a website that enhances web and mobile customer experience, allowing them to explore the collection of projects and uplift brand value, establishing Elite Paint's online presence in a leading position in the paint industry.
Contribution
The primary role of Dcastalia was to deliver UX & UI for all main pages of the web portal, create a smart guild module, and overall improve the UX. After a couple of strategic workshops, we provided all the possible interfaces that were needed to complete the website.
We developed an interactive and responsive website that enables the user to browse through different sections of the website easily. We focused on delivering a joyful experience to the users. Contents were presented in a way that looks aesthetically beautiful throughout the website.

Cox's Bazar Beach Club Website Development
Overview
Cox’s Bazar Beach Club is the very first 5-star shared ownership amusement hotel & club in Bangladesh that sells slot ownership of the hotel itself and shared ownership jointly with customers. They are a giant hotel conglomerate.

The Dcastalia Team was assigned with designing, strategizing, and implementing a personalized digital experience that emphasizes the hotel's most memorable moments since its beginnings.
Contribution
Dcastalia created a corporate website that was easy to navigate while having enough detail to appeal to a wide range of potential clients. Duronto Quiz Mobile Application Development

Duronto TV aims to entertain and simultaneously teach the children Bangladesh’s culture, heritage, and history through various programs and interactive shows.

The National Forensic DNA Profiling Laboratory (NFDPL) is the first DNA laboratory of its kind in Bangladesh. DNA technology is increasingly important to ensuring accuracy and fairness in the criminal justice system. NFDPL provides all kinds of DNA testing service-related to a criminal investigation to several detective agencies to solve violent crimes.

Dcastalia has been entrusted with the design and development of a dynamic website and web portal that will act as the central repository for all sensitive DNA profiling case data in the country.

The web portal was created with the users in mind, and extensive persona analysis was used to increase usability. PIB Database System Development
Overview
Plan International Bangladesh is an NGO that has been active in Bangladesh for nearly two decades. The group has a strong emphasis on improving the living conditions of unprivileged people, specifically for children.
Project Goal
The project goal was to develop a digitalized database application to enable the real-time accessibility of collected data and the formation of reports accordingly.
Contribution
After being approached, team Dcastalia identified the setbacks in the prior reporting system and conducted an extensive study to produce an effective alternative, which included designing and developing a digitalized database application. The project's ultimate goal necessitated complex activities such as creating an access control system for authenticated users to log in and access information, capturing survey responses, and compiling a well-organized report to be given to the program's senior officials. We hired Dcastalia to design and develop a user-friendly and appealing website and to include several projects such as Pearl Harbor, Amusement Park, Toothbrush, Stationery, PVC, etc. on our website. Our goal was to create a personalized portfolio website that showcased all of our projects and products in a single seamless integration.

The reason behind selecting Dcastalia was their extensive knowledge and expertise in the IT sector. Also, as they worked with numerous leading and superior companies both at the national and international level, I believe that any company can put their trust in Dcastalia with their digital journey.

Dcastalia conducted research and analysis on our company, provided us mockup designs, and designed and developed a fully functional, aesthetically pleasing website which was included in the scope of the work. For deliverables, they provided us a project proposal, project documentation, including the sitemap, Gantt chart, content list, etc, weekly progress reports, complete working website, CMS documentations.For technology, they used ReactJs, Bootstrap, and other Front-end plugins, and as for the backend, PHP, MySQL, etc. were used.

From their end, there was a dedicated team of four members including the account manager, designer, senior developer, and content strategist.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Working with Dcastalia, we have been able to stay ahead in terms of tech. I get many compliments and positive feedback from clients as well as other folks in the industry. They comment on how the site looks and how easy it is to use and find information.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The overall collaboration is more than satisfactory. The main tool for communication and project management was email.

We met the Project Manager and lead developer almost weekly, both in-person and online. In terms of communication, they have been prompt, professional and kept us informed about the process via phone calls and emails. Also, they incorporated our suggestions at every stage.

The team had determination to provide and develop to match our vision no matter what challenges they had to solve. For example, the Google Map customization and integration risked the site running slow, but they optimized the load speed to tackle that.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Even though the team seemed enthusiastic about the project, they started a bit slow but then worked very hard to meet the deadline.

For what projects/services did your company hire Dcastalia Limited?
We had a workable website to show our vendors' foods and let our customers to order. But we did not have any mobile app. As our competitors had mobile apps, we were facing negative growth in number of daily orders. Besides, we had to redesign our database architecture to develop our website based on same database.
What were your goals for this project?
We simply wanted to have an user friendly lightweight android app that our customers can download on their devices - regardless of the android versions. We also wanted to build our website based on the same database.
How did you select Dcastalia Limited?
We posted on Linkedin that we were looking for a company to develop our adroid app. Our inbox was flooded by emails from software companies during next few days.
We initially looked for a company that had work experience in Android, larabel and yii2 simultaneously. Later we sorted companies by their years of experience and client base. We had conduct meeting with 4 companies to see their presentation. Dcastalia was the one who met all criteria along with our budget.
Describe the project in detail.
The project had several bumps during its life cycle as we, the company, changed our initial requirements several times. Once the project was initiated, Dcastalia came back with different layouts.
We sat with them multiple times to fix the design. Once the design was secured, Dcastalia assigned two developers for us who were dedicated for the project. The developers kept connection with us and shared the buckets of codes with updates every week.
Once the architecture was fixed, the app took another month to develop. We took one more month to do the bug fixing. The final app was released after 3 months of our agreement with Dcastalia.
What was the team composition?
Initially we were contacted by a project manager. Then the UI/UC designer worked with us under the mamager's supervision. Then 4 backend & frontend developers kept working on the project and 2 of them were fully dedicated to the project. During the entire time, the project manager was overseeing the project.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Within first 3 months of launching the App on Play Store, our app was downloaded 5000 times. We had to change a part of the layout after receiving some feedbacks from our customers and Dcastalia was happy to do that for us as their goal was to build an user friendly app too.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The communication was smooth as the project manager communicated with us via email and phone every week to give us updates, to listen to our feedbacks and to share his experience. The workflow was good overall.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
The vendor was quite impressive with their knowledge of the App and website market and with their insights of food delivery companies. They were smart enough to lead us to choose the right decision to increase our app dowloads
Are there any areas for improvement?
The project was done nicely. Perhaps vendor could takes a bit less time to do the project. But the quality might drop (might not).
