I was a Content & Creative manager in the a market research firm based out of Fort Lauderdale, USA with offices in LATAM, UK and India.
For what projects/services did your company hire DataDab?
We were launching a retail tech product in the retail execution space and we required product promotional activities across multiple digital channels.
What were your goals for this project?
We had to portray our product's capabilities and bring about awareness in the best way possible to our target audience. We had invested a lot of resources into product development to create a solution for the most challenging aspects of the retail space. Now, we had to put it in front of the right eyes.
How did you select this vendor?
We were searching for a vendor who would clearly understand our space and get to the solution for our challenge ASAP. Datadab was clearly a picture-perfect choice among the many we assessed because of their thorough understanding of the retail space, in-depth research of our competitors, understanding our need to stand out from the crowd, presentation of their services for our challenge and most importantly their flawless communication.
Describe the scope of their work in detail.
We needed to understand the best approach to promotion. One of our thoughts was to create a video explaining our product and solution. After multiple discussions with Datadad, we were convinced that an animated video would be the best to easily explain our product's capability and also reach a wider target audience across various demographics. We also had to promote the video upon creation across multiple search engines and social media channels to bring about awareness. Datadab took in charge of researching the best channels for this line of work and suggested the right choices.
What was the team composition?
We initially started with their principal but post project initiation we were communicating with some of their creative and advertising team. Probably 2-3 people. Obviously there must have more, working in the background.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The results were quite astonishing. We experienced a 25% ROI within the first few months of our launch and promotions. It is quite high considering a very niche and competitive space of retail execution.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
It was flawless. We never had a challenge. The Datadab team was available for a conversation to even in the middle of the night if needed. It was a great experience and we certainly learned important aspects of digital ads from them.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Their teamwork, communication, and collaborative spirit were impressive. It was certainly the best. We never wanted to work with an external agency but Datadab changed our perception.
Are there any areas for improvement?
Yes, probably use similar project management tools as the client. We used Trello for task updating and they used a different tool. But it is very minuscule in the grand scheme of things done in the project.

Better visibility of brand YellowChalk in search media, social, etc, and leveraging email marketing as a sales channel.

I was aware there was something that our online presence required but I was uncertain about what my primary focus should be. DataDab managed to bring together all the pieces of the puzzle. DataDab is my marketing partner that helps us in every aspect - PPC, SEO, Social etc basically "fixing" the website from an SEO point of view, content models, email automation, GA reporting, tools and resources, blog posts.
We started off with Amit auditing my site with various parameters. They provided a long list of recommendations on what needed to be changed broken out by priority levels.
What was the team composition?
My main point of contact is Amit who runs the agency. He works in close coordination with the marketing team at YellowChalk.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The traffic to the website has increased and the number of qualified inquiries is on the rise.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We worked through in-person meetings, emails, and phone calls. I think it was pretty effective.

The most impressive thing is their communication. We quickly started seeing results after their engagement.
Are there any areas for improvement?
At the moment, I don't see an area that shows weakness.
