Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm the Co-founder and Director of El Directorio Guatemala, an organization that facilitates and promotes collaboration and professional development within the NGO sector in Guatemala.

For what projects/services did your company hire DailySoft CR, and what were your goals?

Our young website was very basic and the developer we had been working with was no longer able to continue with us. We hired DailySoft CR to fix problems in the existing site, add new functionalities and help us improve design and UI aspects.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We were referred to DailySoft CR and after several conversations to ensure they understood our needs we started working together. They showed a high level of understanding of our needs, asked pertinent questions and were honest when they we unsure or needed more clarity. They had great communication and in general very friendly.

Steps have been to determine the needs and where the site needed update. They have reviewed the existing site and code and we have had regular meetings to discuss our needs and next steps.

3 people from the team have worked with us - mainly the CEO and Co-founder

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

They have created and launched a new Homepage for us, and created a membership structure and login process.

Communications have been very strong, via email and video calls, and clear timelines and costings have been shared.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They have the ability to be professional and personable, and take into account our lack of understanding of some technical aspects and find ways to communicate them with us clearly. Great communication.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Perhaps some more pro-active suggestions around the site and how to improve UI and other aspects, given that we have very little experience in the development we are very open to ideas and guidance vs. just completing the tasks we ask for.

I’m the owner of a software consulting company.

We needed a company that could develop an e-commerce platform for us.

What was the scope of their involvement?

DailySoft CR has developed the site from scratch, using Java for the backend and React for the frontend. The team has also created a couple of design proposals for the site.

How did you come to work with DailySoft CR?

We found DailySoft CR through a referral.

What was the team composition?

We’ve worked with two developers from DailySoft CR.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent about $10,000 so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in July 2021, and the engagement is ongoing.

DailySoft CR’s work is of excellent quality.

How did DailySoft CR perform from a project management standpoint?

DailySoft CR has performed well in terms of project management. They are consistent in meeting deadlines and communicating effectively.

We typically communicate through Skype, and we use Jira for project management.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re most impressed with the quality of DailySoft CR’s work.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We had a bit of trouble collaborating at the beginning of the engagement, but their processes have improved along the way. We provided them with suggestions to make the project more traceable and to make our communication more efficient, all of which they have been able to implement.

Make sure to provide them with documentation of all your requirements.

Previous experience working with the CEO. He does excellent work, goes above and beyond, is reliable and a pleasure to work with.

Mauricio and his team have supplemented our team with Drupal and WordPress capabilities. They have helped with large-scale migrations and builds in both WordPress and Drupa.
