Using the existing information on the website, we were able to create a custom resource database, easily able to be updated by the library staff on their own, letting their website grow with them and allow for more creative freedom with website content.
The information on this database is organized alphabetically and by category, making it easy for a patron to browse and find information on topics they’re curious about.
Of course, this database was only one part of the minimalist web design features the client asked for. We created tools designed with the client in mind since the library’s main goal was to have a website they could update and furnish themselves in years to come.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the director of sales for Commeg Systems. We’re a systems company in the time and labor industry.
What challenge were you trying to address with CyberOptik?
We had an outdated website; we needed to modernize it and put in better pictures, wording, ideas, and layouts.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We initially put down our ideas, some pictures of our products, and a good background. CyberOptik did some extensive research on us to figure out our industry, and they put it all together to do the website.
The layout and flow were key because the team made clear that people would peek at the site for five seconds and leave if nothing interested them. They built the site using WordPress so that we can make changes to it. CyberOptik showed us the step-by-step on how to add and edit things. Now, we don’t have to call them for everything.
What is the team composition?
We worked with 2–3 people with different roles. Someone specialized in marketing, one on the technical side, and then there was a service person we could call to make whatever changes we wanted. They all excelled at their work and made the process very seamless.
How did you come to work with CyberOptik?
I just searched online and called them. Then, they came for an in-person meeting and discussion.
How much have you invested with them?
Since 2018, we’ve probably spent about $6,000–$8,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began our partnership in July 2018, and they finished the website within 1–2 months. We still work together when we have to add things. They help us out with ideas on spending our budget in the best areas.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
CyberOptik was able to design the website to keep the user’s interest despite how further into the site they went. In that sense, the number of views is one way to know the impact. In general, they keep it fresh and suggest certain sentences to incorporate or get rid of. Nonetheless, they don’t push us and just make recommendations on how to stay active to stay on Google’s first or second page of the search results. Overall, it’s nice to get an unbiased opinion.
How did CyberOptik perform from a project management standpoint?
They laid the project out for us at the get-go. We had the timeline, and once they hit a milestone, we went on to the next step to ensure we stayed on course — that’s why it only took 1–2 months to wrap up the project. Once they built the website, they left it open-ended so we could make changes without a hassle.
Overall, the process was pretty smooth, and they were there every step of the way.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They were pretty responsive and on top of everything. We could send an email and get an answer within 1–2 hours.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can’t come up with anything. Maybe if there are new technologies that could benefit us, they could reach us and let us know. However, they do the upgrades behind the scenes, so maybe we don’t have to know about what they do.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Just stick to the timeline, and it’ll go according to plan. If you get off track, it’s difficult to get your mindset back into it, so once you start, just finish it.

WordPress Dev & Design for Geriatric Care Management Firm

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder of Senior Care Solutions, and we provide geriatric care management services. We primarily serve people in the geriatric population, such as vulnerable adults and people with chronic disabilities.
What challenge were you trying to address with CyberOptik?
I hired CyberOptik to help me design my website when I opened my practice. I tried to build the site by myself when I opened the business, but I realized that it was worth it to pay more for a professional service.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Because it was the first time I ever designed a website, CyberOptik held my hand through the process. The team helped me with everything from the appearance of the site to its text. I did the bulk of the website’s text, but they built the rest of it. Apart from designing it, they also developed the website via WordPress.
What is the team composition?
I primarily worked with Ron (Principal & Marketing Director), though he had a team of people involved in the project.
How did you come to work with CyberOptik?
Ron and I had a mutual contact on LinkedIn — that was where I found CyberOptik. I decided to set up a consultation meeting, and I was impressed with them. That was the start of our engagement.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent somewhere between $5,000–$7,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
The project lasted from June 2016–March 2017.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I heard positive feedback about the website from people that were considering using our services. They said the site is user-friendly and professional.
How did CyberOptik perform from a project management standpoint?
CyberOptik’s project management was excellent. We communicated via emails and phone calls. We mainly used emails, but we also had plenty of phone calls during the development process and while we were making numerous decisions. Ron was also truly patient.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They were extremely responsive. Every time I had a question, I always received answers within an hour. Overall, their customer service was outstanding.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, there weren’t any. They were highly professional, creative, and responsive.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Go into the engagement with a clear idea about your goals. Look at other websites to figure out what you want. That will speed up the process. On top of that, don’t be afraid to commit to your decisions.

Web Design & SEO for Office Furniture Installation Company

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the president of On Point Installations. We’re an office furniture, receipt, delivery, and installation service provider.
What challenge were you trying to address with CyberOptik?
I was looking for an SEO vendor and brought them in to redesign our website and help with raising our Google rankings.
What was the scope of their involvement?
To start, CyberOptik looked at our website and analyzed our competitor’s websites, looking at their description tags, meta tags, and keywords. We focused on the sites that ranked ahead of us on Google. They went on to create a number of new pages on our site and refresh our design, including adding a promotional page, a blog page, and an electrical services page. These pages represent new services we’re offering, like window treatments.
I also work with their writer monthly to develop a content program that will promote our company name and help the algorithm recognize our services. They will submit articles to me for review and I will provide feedback before we post them. These blogs are topical, focusing on what’s going on in the industry. For example, we shifted to work from home topics when COVID hit.
What is the team composition?
Ron (Principal) is my main contact, Chris (Support Director) sends me the analytic reports, and we have a content writer.
How did you come to work with CyberOptik?
Ron reached out to me on LinkedIn, and we happened to be looking for another service provider, as our one at the time wasn’t performing well. We had mutual contacts, speaking to his reputability, and his website was very detailed. Their services were also perfectly aligned with what we were looking for. Finally, they were able to work within our budget.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent around $8,000–$10,000 so far, and the price is $400–$500 for monthly SEO. We’ve also done some one-off projects, like adding pages.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working together since September 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’re ranking a better on Google and will continue to climb with their continued support. We’re also receiving cold calls every day asking for quotes thanks to our organic work.
How did CyberOptik perform from a project management standpoint?
They have a quick response time, getting back to me within an hour. My responses are a bit delayed since I wear so many hats, but they’re on their game.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The website design stands out the most. Previously, we had a basic WordPress site that I’d built when I launched the company but CyberOptik created an awesome, modern site. They turned it around quickly, too.
Are there any areas they could improve?
We’re improving at a slow rate, but it’s impossible to make the process move any faster. It just takes time for the algorithm to recognize changes and for us to grow more. There’s no blame for CyberOptik. They’re doing everything right.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Try them out. We’ve moved up in the ranks and we haven’t had any issues. If you don’t make a new website, then definitely refresh some parts of it with SEO in mind. CyberOptik’s SEO background will help power the design.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I own an accounting firm.
What challenge were you trying to address with CyberOptik?
I needed a new website to optimize my digital presence.
What was the scope of their involvement?
I’ve initially devised a project plan with CyberOptik’s team to specify my timelines and development needs. After the scoping stage, they’ve then built the website based on my requirements and brand guidelines.
What is the team composition?
I’ve worked with about two resources from their team, including Ron (Principal & Marketing Director).
How did you come to work with CyberOptik?
Ron approached me 20 years ago.
How much have you invested with them?
I’ve spent about $9,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our ongoing engagement started in January 2003.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
CyberOptik’s has crafted a user-friendly website that impressed my customers, resulting in a traffic increase. Their feedback is my primary success metric for CyberOptik’s work.
How did CyberOptik perform from a project management standpoint?
We mainly communicate via email. CyberOptik has excellent communication and project management skills. Apart from that, they respect my timelines and budget.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I’m most impressed with their quick response rates and reasonably priced services.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I honestly haven’t encountered any performance-related issues from their end. CyberOptik has been a dedicated and accommodating partner through the years.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner of Closet Organizing Systems.
What challenge were you trying to address with CyberOptik?
Several years ago, Adobe stopped providing support for websites in Adobe Business Catalyst. Because of that, we had to transition and convert our entire website to WordPress. We hired CyberOptik to help us with that integration while developing a new website for us.
What was the scope of their involvement?
CyberOptik took what we had on the website while also making changes. We altered our galleries, and they morphed everything into a new website. The existing website had a variety of pages, and the biggest challenge for us was with the galleries. Our teams had to reformat elements; there was an entire gallery that had textures, colors, and finishes. Plenty of other elements accompanied it. CyberOptik took care of these things.
At present, CyberOptik continues to help us with more things. Recently, they’ve helped us make the website viewable for blind people. For context, many states are adopting standards related to such a website feature, so the team helps us be compliant with that.
What is the team composition?
I have direct contact with Ron (Principal & Marketing Director) and Warren (Creative Director). There’s a team behind them that supports certain aspects of the project, but Ron and Warren run everything.
How did you come to work with CyberOptik?
I searched around locally for companies that could have more hands-on involvement in the project. Specifically, I didn’t want to deal with a team in a different country or state — I wanted an interaction that was more on a one-on-one basis. With those things in mind, the feedback I received from Ron was favorable. That was when our engagement started.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested around $60,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in August 2018, and the engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
To measure success, we check our website's ranking and positioning. We’re working on a bunch of keyword-rich content, and CyberOptik’s updates have made the website more accessible to us. The site is also more intuitive to use; everything is a lot easier now.
How did CyberOptik perform from a project management standpoint?
We always communicate back and forth. Sometimes, they have to go into hiding to do what they have to do, and then I receive updates from time to time. I never have to pressure them to do anything. In fact, I’m the one who’s busy with other things and falls behind in terms of communication. Most of the time, we interface via email. They usually provide us with links where we can preview non-live pages.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I don’t want to deal with multiple people; I don’t want to go to one person for PPC and to another person for design or something else — I want to consolidate that process. That’s where CyberOptik is great. Since they’re local, I can sit down with them and we can go through the project together. I appreciate this, especially since we’re working on a large project. They ensure that everybody is on the same page and knows what they’re doing.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Technology is their field of expertise. However, I may not always be familiar with their explanations and the technical jargon they use. Resolving this can make our processes flow easier.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
As you go into the engagement, review their website and their capabilities. You can use their websites as examples of what you want them to do. From there, have more in-depth conversations about what you’re trying to accomplish.

Web Design & Development for Sales Representing Company
"CyberOptik listened to what we liked and tried to accommodate us."

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the president of a manufacturer’s representative company. We’re a sales organization representing different companies and acting as their sales force.
What challenge were you trying to address with CyberOptik?
We had an existing website, and we were trying to modernize it.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We used our existing website to discuss how we wanted to upgrade it. CyberOptik worked on development using WordPress; we wanted the site to be easy to navigate for our customers and organized by market and product type.
The design work was a collaborative effort. They showed us templates, and then our team sent them back information on how we wanted to use that particular template and what type of data we wanted to display. Now, they’ve taken on web hosting, and the maintenance is included as part of the hosting fees.
What is the team composition?
Our main point of contact was Ron (Website Expert, Principal & Marketing Director). We primarily interacted with two people. The business manager worked to set up the relationship between us, and the main developer created the content and organized it how we wanted it.
How did you come to work with CyberOptik?
They advertised themselves to us for 2–3 years. When we were finally ready to take on this project, they were familiar to us because they’d been pretty persistent in reaching out. We interviewed a couple of developers, but we decided to go with CyberOptik, so their continual touchpoints paid off.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent $2,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in January 2020, and we finished up everything in August 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The most tangible evidence is our website. We think it looks good, and the project went pretty well.
How did CyberOptik perform from a project management standpoint?
They did a decent job. We communicated back and forth, sharing our thoughts and questions as they created content. They directed us to a test site to see what they were building. We had a couple of phone calls, but we primarily used email to communicate.
When we were negotiating the project, I met with Ron in person. After we booked the order, there was no more in-person interaction.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They were very approachable. CyberOptik listened to what we liked and tried to accommodate us. Also, they guided us into what would or wouldn’t work. Overall, their responsiveness was excellent.
Are there any areas they could improve?
We got off a little slower than expected, so the project lasted about eight months. It usually would’ve taken them a couple of months, but they communicated that they had delays. In the end, they threw us a bone and gave us a couple of things for free or some extended support time to make up for it, so we were satisfied.
Also, the project involved more responsibility for us than we’d expected. We had to provide them with a lot of input on how we wanted things to look like and what content to include, and we were hoping they’d guide us more on that side. It was just a miscommunication about their expectations, but I think if we’d paid more money, they would’ve taken a more encompassing role.
Once we figured out how the business would flow, it went smoothly. However, they could’ve explained their expectations for us better and what they’d provide.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Ask a lot of questions about the expectations and responsibilities from each side so everything is well-understood.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the COO of Paulklein. We mostly do high-end travel.
What challenge were you trying to address with CyberOptik?
We wanted something fresh and simple in terms of web design, rather than the same boring layout that everyone has.
What was the scope of their involvement?
CyberOptik developed everything. We handled most of the verbiage, and they created a really nice design for WordPress. They now provide support.
What is the team composition?
We’ve worked with Ron (Principal) from the beginning. He has a great team.
How did you come to work with CyberOptik?
We interviewed a lot of companies and liked that he was young and good. He’s been stuck with us ever since.
How much have you invested with them?
They’re very affordable, as far as we’re concerned. We’ve spent between $10,000-$50,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working together since January 2014.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Eight years later, we’re still please with the site. It’s hard to keep track of metrics since we’re a word of mouth and by-referral-only company, but we’ve had success with people reading our blog and travel news and then calling in.
How did CyberOptik perform from a project management standpoint?
The best part is that I can call or email with any issue I have, and it’ll be taken care of within 24 hours, if not sooner.
Ron himself always calls to check in and make sure everything’s going well.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re super responsive and do things very well. I haven’t seen any mistakes at all.

SEO, PPC & Web Dev Bathtub & Tile Refinishing Business
"They’re very professional and hands-on."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
We’re a bathtub and tile refinishing company in the Chicago area. I’m the owner of the business.
What challenge were you trying to address with CyberOptik?
We hired CyberOptik to manage our Google Ads and SEO as well as rebuild our website.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We initially hired CyberOptik to manage our Google Ads, as we had already been doing SEO work with another company at the time. We eventually took them in to do manage our SEO as well. When we saw positive results come through our Google Ads campaigns, we decided to expand their scope of work and have them upgrade and update our website.
For SEO, we provided their team with guidance when it came to our goals, keywords, and target areas. They put together different landing pages that could express what our business does and help us reach a wider audience.
What is the team composition?
Ron (Principal & Marketing Director) was our main point of contact, but we worked with different people over the course of the project. One individual gave us monthly SEO updates while another worked on the website. There was also another person in charge of the landing pages.
How did you come to work with CyberOptik?
Ron reached out to me several years ago. He introduced himself and their services and informed me that they were also based in Chicago. I thought that it would be nice to engage with someone who was actually local since they would have a better understanding of the area. I did some research and liked their services and rates, so I decided to give them a try.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent over $10,000 across all of their services.
What is the status of this engagement?
They first reached out to us in January 2016, and our partnership is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’re happy with the results that we’re getting. They provide us with monthly reports and updates as to how our campaigns are performing.
How did CyberOptik perform from a project management standpoint?
CyberOptik does excellently in terms of project management. They’re very professional and hands-on. They reach out to me whenever they had questions and we work together to ensure that everything is working properly. They’re also very accessible and responsive when I need some guidance and direction. I’m happy with our partnership, and that’s the reason we’ve worked with them for so long.
We typically communicate over email, but we do also Zoom calls for in-depth discussions.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I really appreciate how responsive they are and how we could always get in touch with the right person. We’ve worked with other companies where we’re not really dealing with anyone specifically; our questions get thrown around and eventually get handled by someone who doesn’t have the right expertise. That’s never the case with CyberOptik. They know exactly what they’re doing.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I can’t see anything that I would change.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the Executive Managing Director of Smart Ballots LLC, a Wyoming company that has created a voter / ballot system to restore faith and integrity in our elections. This is a blockchain-based, quantum computer secure and tamper-proof voting software that can be used for national, state, and local elections.
Our system will eliminate election fraud such as dead people voting, non-citizens voting, duplicate ballots, plus provides an immutable audit trail and "same day" election results. A brief overview can be viewed at https://www.smartballots.us
For what projects/services did your company hire CyberOptik?
We wanted a multi-page highly graphical web site to convey the concept of Smart Ballots and how voting / ballot systems can benefit using blockchain technology. CyberOptik guided us through the design phase, including development of a new logo. They created a robust design for the web site including several photos, multiple page designs, and made good suggestions on content.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
I had used CyberOptik previously to develop a web site for a crypto / digital currency firm which can be viewed at www.precharge.com The web site has significant graphics, photos, and embedded links, and CyberOptik provided many suggestions and completed the project on time and within budget.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
We set up an initial discovery call after I provided CyberOptik with a lengthy overview of what we had in mind for the Smart Ballots website. Early in the project CyberOptik gave us many reasons why we should create our logo from scratch versus using commercially available artwork. It turned out their suggestion gave us a much better "look & feel" for the website. Periodic updates were provided to us with edits to verbiage being made quickly on the "test site".
There were several rounds of revisions for the content, much of which was due to our development team creating new features / benefits to our product. Smart Ballots decided to also have CyberOptik manage web site hosting, set up Google Analytics, etc. The sent was live within 48 hours of our final approval.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
I recall working with Ron Johnson (Marketing Director), Warren Greeley (Creative Director & Project Manager), and Chris Elizondo, Support.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Based on the high quality of the Smart Ballots web site we have been approached by several prospective clients looking to upgrade their voting/ballot systems. Plus two venture capital firms have reached out to explore the possibility of investing significant funding to ramp up sales and marketing efforts to capture market share quickly.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Communication was frequent and easy due to the CyberOptik team sending frequent updates on the progress of the website development.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
CyberOptik provided many innovative ideas for the design concepts, and more importantly guided us away from costly and time-consuming "bright ideas" the Smart Ballots owners thought of for inclusion on the site.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Not really, both projects were completed on time and within budget and were of greater impact due to the designs they developed for us. I would l recommend them to anyone for website development and the other services they offer (i.e. site hosting, etc.).

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am a founder and Principal at Wireless Concepts International, a wireless systems engineering firm. Wireless Concepts is an established, leading provider of innovative wireless engineering services and solutions including custom scalable in-building and outdoor (iDAS,oDAS,WiFi,Small Cell) wireless networks.
For what projects/services did your company hire CyberOptik?
Our website was updated over 5 years ago (also by CyberOptik), and it was time for a refresh. We had such a good experience with CyberOptik during the initial refresh that we decided to work with CyberOptik again for the new site.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
During the initial refresh just over 5 years ago, we compared CyberOptik's proposal to the proposal of our original web design firm. The selection of CyberOptik was essentially a no-brainer based upon CyberOptik's completed project portfolio and the value for the dollar presented to us. CyberOptik listened to our needs and goals and crafted a custom, cost-effective proposal vs the over-priced one-size-fits-all proposal we received from our original design firm that contained features and functionality we didn't need.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
CyberOptik guided us through all steps of the process including the initial questionnaire, proposed site structure and functionality, proposed template designs and revisions, image/animation selection, and final website publishing. Cyberoptik handled the design, hosting, and implementation/launch of the new website. CyberOptik also included post-launch training for our team for site content management.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We worked with a dedicated point-of-contact for the project who is currently the Marketing Director at CyberOptik. Communication was smooth and responsive throughout the entire project and post-launch support has been superb for years.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
