Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.
Create an industry game that kept people's interest, but would also teach the basics of aerial broadband builds. The game includes a squirrel that chews into the cables and prevents the signal delivery. As the game player you need to locate the trouble, determine how to fix, select appropriate tools, and complete the fix.
The player who does the best in the shortest amount of time would win as the system keeps score. All data is wiped when the system is turned off alleviating privacy concerns.
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
- Receipt of working game
- Market testing
Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?
The team was great. Our folks were not experienced in VR or what it would take for a build. CXR Agency was able to walk us through that process and was very patient. They always offered ideas, but didn't push if it wasn't something we were willing to go with.
There work was shown to us as the project progresses for our feedback. They were always willing to answer questions, discuss our concerns, and kept a weekly meeting that brought us updates. We are continuing to work with them on the second phase of our game. Can't wait for it's release.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Response time was great. They were always willing to answer email even though we had a weekly meeting. Their ideas, imagination, and work really brought our network game to life.
Are there any areas for improvement or something {provider_name} could have done differently?
No - they just need to keep up the great work.

VDI
The client, VDI, a provider of cutting-edge driver training simulation solutions, retain CXR Agency, to provide extra teams and highly skilled resources to implement a variety of modifications, debug and improve performance, add visually stunning 3D graphics, optimize, and more on multiple projects.
CXR team acted quickly to ensure smooth progress across all projects. We immediately assigned developers and a dedicated project manager to facilitate the process efficiently. Additionally, to meet the unique needs of each task, we formed a specialized team consisting of 3D artists, Unity developers, and creative directors. This allowed us to use resources effectively while maintaining high standards and meeting schedule deadlines.
After thorough research and testing, the CXR team implemented a series of code improvements for Unity that gave it a modern look without impacting performance. These changes ensure that users can have a smooth and enjoyable experience as they explore every aspect of the simulation.
CXR team demonstrated its dedication by consistently increasing productivity by working around the clock. Additional resources were quickly deployed to meet requirements and address urgent demands.
VDI made significant progress with the integration of our staff. Not only did their projects see improvements in performance and aesthetics, but by utilizing CXR’s staff augmentation services, VDI was able to avoid hiring full-time employees at a much higher cost and bypass a time-consuming 3-9 month onboarding process. Even, the cost of investing in the recruiting and training of employees, as well as related expenditures such as salary, benefits, and taxes, are avoided. Additionally, VDI had direct communication with our team throughout each week. As work continues on developing driver training simulations, the CXR team remains dedicated to optimizing every aspect of VDI’s digital infrastructure.

Millennium
Millennium approached CXR to create a virtual reality (VR) training and conference experience for their employees and new trainees/technicians. Millennium desired to develop an immersive and interactive program that would educate their staff on the necessary operations and procedures to perform tasks efficiently, as well as identifying and resolving problems in the field.
Oculus Quest 2 VR Training Application deployed via ArborXR VRDM enterprise solution for easy device management as well as application optimization and maintenance.
The VR training game developed by CXR was a huge success for Millennium. Their employees were able to learn and practice fiber optic cable repair and installation in a realistic and safe environment, which greatly improved their skills and knowledge. Additionally, the VR experience was able to track progress and performance, which allowed Millennium to identify areas for improvement and provide targeted training. Overall, the VR experience developed by CXR helped Millennium to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their training and conference program.

Luxury Metaverse Shopping Experience
With their finger on the pulse of AR/VR and the emergence of the Metaverse, our client dreamt of creating an elevated shopping platform for both AR and VR. They understood that the future of digital commerce was spatial and immersive, and they needed a prototype to fully realize their vision.
Through various phases of brainstorming, conceptualization and prototyping a range of disparate ideas, the team at CXR worked closely with the client to help develop key aspects of the experience and bring it to life on multiple platforms.
Fully-developed and fully-customizable, this XR experience is easy for brands to turn into a custom application that translates their products and story into a sharp experience for users around the world.

Modelo
Modelo wanted to showcase apparel they created in partnership with RSVP Gallery, an upscale clothing brand based in Chicago, and encourage users to enter their sweepstakes.
C-Labs developed a cutting-edge campaign that included age validation, an in-browser AR experience featuring custom 3D models, and a sweepstakes entry form.
Serving as an endcap in stores, the C-Labs team devised a smooth process for driving customers online. In-store users could access the experience by scanning a QR code, taking them to the age validation portal, and then on to the actual platform. While in-browser AR may be new on the web scene, the team made sure the whole journey was exciting but straightforward.
After storyboarding the entire experience, the team at CemtrexLabs developed a webAR experience that launches instantly. “Placed” on a surface in front of the user, a holographic slider cycles through the various pieces in collection, from shorts to hoodies to bags. The user can go back and forth and see full, rotating views of each item.
The experience was a hit with users, fueling new excitement for the merchandise collaboration and convincing thousands to enter the sweepstakes.

Dropbox + The Infatuation
Dropbox and The Infatuation, a restaurant recommendation platform, teamed up to highlight the importance of taking a lunch break – and making it a good one.
Working with three eateries in New York City, Chicago, and San Francisco, the campaign aims to encourage users to take a break and support small- and medium-sized businesses – an audience Dropbox hopes to cultivate.
C-Labs delivered a fully responsive website complete with a horizontal parallax scroll, a sweepstakes entry form, and an embedded Spotify playlist.
The collaboration and its microsite were a hit, successfully highlighting the importance of lunch and supporting local businesses. The exclusive lunches were popular throughout the week, garnering interest on social media and write-ups in publications such as Adweek.

HBO Max
In May 2020, HBO launched their subscription streaming service, HBO Max, featuring its classic programming, as well as exclusive original content. Amassing over 28 million subscribers by September 2020, the media titan released its first movie exclusive to the platform, Charm City Kings (featuring rapper Meek Mill), in October of the same year.
With their in-house team fully preoccupied and time running out, HBO Max/19th and Park challenged the team at C-Labs to rapidly develop a creative social media campaign for the movie.
C-Labs delivered 20 static and dynamic social media assets, an AR face filter for Instagram/Facebook, a name generator, and a portal for a writing contest. The campaign combined the best of traditional digital marketing campaigns with the excitement of newer technology to reach a wider audience and sustain interest for as long as possible.
Since going live, the campaign has continually driven engagement across platforms, and even engaged a few high-profile stakeholders, including Snoop Dog, Will Smith, and Meek Mill.

Wacoal
Looking to build out the editorial sections of their websites, Wacoal approached the CemtrexLabs team to develop a new website structure that was dynamic but accessible. Wacoal needed to be able to easily maintain their new site while maximizing their creativity. This required a new backend architecture in WordPress to allow easy editing and smooth integration with their ecommerce platform.
The team engineered a backend infrastructure using WordPress’ Gutenberg Blocks to allow for customized page elements in a user-friendly interface. C-Labs also empowered Wacoal’s marketing team by training them to use the new framework and unlock its full potential.
All three blog sites are now live, featuring brand new editorial content, multiple design languages, and a digestible structure for both back- and front-end users. The end of our work marked the beginning of theirs – the team at Wacoal is fully trained in using the site and ready to take their digital strategy to new heights.

Live Nation
Live Nation approached the team for help with the AR integration in their Governor’s Ball app, which needed to be fully functioning in three days. We had just those three days to bring their app to life by creating a series of AR and user-friendly 3D models from scratch.
CXR took the Live Nation team’s 3D models, created by a third party, and recreated them for improved visuals and better integration capabilities into the app itself.
The 3D models were created, mapped seamlessly to users’ faces, and Live Nation had a working application on time for their event. Thousands of people at Gov Ball used the application successfully, including Post Malone – the headliner of the event.

Slingshot VR
SlingshotVR, an on-demand VR video distribution platform, worked closely with the CXR team to realize its developmental, project, and overall company goals – from areas of concept and deployment to support.
They needed an easily white-labelable solution for the content they were creating at Slingshot, so we isolated the best technical and experimental approaches for their needs.
Over the course of 12 weeks, we conducted design and development sprints that engaged the SlingshotVR team on a daily basis and allowed us to reach a beta release for their newly improved, intuitive video platform.
We continue to work closely with SlingshotVR today, supporting their proprietary VR software products and collaborations for the creation of 3D animations and assets.

AARP
The AARP team approached us to find digital solutions that attract and further engage their 50-59-year-old client base - specifically, a P2P marketplace where member clients are able to monetize their skills by teaching willing and able learners.
We provided an attractive conversion funnel that channeled the responses of over 1000 people within their target demographic and tested and demonstrating this data over a 5-month period. We met regularly with their team to ensure successful and optimum experimental development, provide Google Analytics analyses and work progress synopsis of any completed work.
To complete the period of experimentation a thorough analysis of the collected data took place. To help AARP prepare for the second phase of engagement, CemtrexLabs identified key signup motivations and a detailed lab report was presented to the AARP team at the end of the 7-month period.

Nameless.tv
The CemtrexLabs team was excited to take on the reconstruction of the Nameless TV application. In addition to improving the app’s architecture, we integrated Google Analytics for full administrative control and leveraged Lookback.io for app testing and feedback.
Not only did the CemtrexLabs team ensure mobile responsiveness for the application, we initiated many hours of troubleshooting to guarantee the accomplishment of Nameless.tv’s goals.
The CemtrexLabs team created a landing page for email collection and integrated social media compatibility with deployment of the reconstructed Nameless.tv app.
The Nameless TV application is successful in establishing viewership that equates to the entire U.S. population every month. This includes a total watch time of 10 centuries, 6 million Nameless.tv subscribers and a total video viewing count of 10 billion.

Pacifico and X Games
Pacifico approached CXR to create innovative experiences to promote their sweepstakes with X Games. Keen to do something different and experiment with Augmented Reality, they trusted the team to explore the possibilities and take the lead on concept development.
Featuring a cooler that materializes out of thin air and spins around, this amusing Web AR experience is quick fun, as the cooler pops open and expels a show of sparkling ice cubes that fog up the user’s screen. Wiping the screen clears away the layer of frost, bringing the journey to its main call to action: signing up for the sweepstakes.
The experience was a hit with the client and with audiences, garnering thousands of entries to the sweepstakes and adding Pacifico to the ranks of brands embracing AR marketing.

National Dialogue
An augmented reality masterpiece
CemtrxLabs’ goal was to create an AR experience that celebrated collective exhibition art and culture while simultaneously provoked empathy and conversation.
The CemtrexLabs team created an interactive canvas that combined geolocation features of AR technology with fun live messages and social sharing. This enabled users to be able to leave messages all over the exhibit walls while also being able to make text bubbles come alive to reveal curated quotes.

Pitaya (Maderas Labs)
Maderas asked us to create a tailored POS and CRM solution for a boutique surf resort with extremely limited connectivity in rural Nicaragua. This solution would then serve as a pilot for another system that would be rolled out to other boutique hotels and resorts around the world.
As always, we worked closely with the Maderas team to understand the realities of their business and craft an experience that accurately captured and reflected their processes while uninvasively streamlining and optimizing where possible.

Pacifico Skate
Pacifico approached CXR to create innovative experiences to promote their sweepstakes. Keen to do something different and experiment with Augmented Reality, they trusted the team to explore the possibilities and take the lead on concept development.
Using WebAR, the experience employs the phone's front-facing camera to superimpose the user's face on the body of a skateboarder. Quickly transported into a truly virtual reality, the experience is a game in which users must steer their skater down a path, avoiding potholes and collecting rings. Upon collecting 25 rings, the user is rewarded with the chance to enter the sweepstakes.
The game was a hit with the client and with audiences, garnering thousands of entries to the sweepstakes and adding Pacifico to the ranks of brands embracing AR marketing.

Bushl
The Bushl team came to us looking for a consolidated web app experience that built and refined the cannabis supply chain. We were tasked with the execution of discovery and preliminary design phases and developing a seamless user experience and development strategy.
Our top priority was to establish the marketplace UX quality along with transactional and purchasing flows – the Bushl website was a hub for a variety of cannabis-based transactions. We also developed an efficient structure for the site’s architecture and codebase, and integrated social media linkage to the website as well as a MailChimp setup.
The Bushl website was finalized with numerous purchasing flows to compliment the way that the 5 tiers of the cannabis industry interact with each other and a unified CMS to facilitate the marketplace to the highest capacity.

Industrie Africa
The Industrie Africa team approached us with a desire to become one of the first digitally recognized resources to shape the African continents fashion industry. They needed a clear, intuitive and responsive web application to house an innovative database of designers from all over the continent.
The CXR team was excited to become a part of this spearheaded vision brought to us by Georgia and Nisha. The development of the web app enables each designer to have a profile with their own clear and intuitive search functions.
Several application program interfaces will be established along with a required 6 pages of website design (requested by the Industrie Africa team), including home, search filters, galleries sliders and detail modules.
CXR has brought [DY1] the Industrie Africa’s team’s vision into fruition by leveraging Laravel October CMS.
[DY1]Again, assuming this is done

Sportuu
The CXR team offered our expertise to aid the Sporttu team enhance their pre-existing app and the connection between sports and organizations, fans and athletes.
We conducted a detailed analysis of their app and focused on improving its information structure, while applying notification and article view modules along with player and team profile modules. We then initiated a 12-week development phase to get the Sporttu mobile app realized with a streamlined user experience design.
The Sporttu application is now available in the Google Play and Apple App stores, respectfully.

A-Listr
George wanted a new way of engaging companies in social media training, so we initiated engagement by testing the viability of a challenge based social media dashboard platform and understanding the assumed demographic through market research probing.
We then created an A-Listr branded landing page, defined its consumer market and assumptions about the market, and defined the steps to validate those assumptions – A-Listr’s top priorities.
We used a variety of outreach methods to further test the experiential results, such as reaching out to social media training consultants and consultancies to survey their needs and struggles in relation to social media education. When then began to develop initial branding and landing pages to conclude A-Listr’s first application pilot.

IMG | Lens
Our team's experience with web app development and design helped Endeavour Network create a beautiful, clean and responsive website. After giving us a breakdown of a few responsive pages via their pre-established layout, and we got to work immediately.
We were able to quickly develop the main homepage using propriety CMS with a variance of categories for each respective creative medium. A responsive theme was also leveraged along with local, development, and demo server setups.
We made sure that attention was drawn to each artist’s profile by mixing eye-catching elements with overall simplicity. The juxtaposition of simple and sleek design with the placement of said art profiles is what makes the Endeavour Network's Lens website truly stand out.

Frisky Radio
When the Frisky Radio team approached CemtrexLabs with multiple application concerns regarding codebase crashing, freezing, memory leaks and overall optimization, we discovered that the app code was error prone and lacked a modular development approach.
We leveraged Autolayout and Xcode instruments to further user interface development and solve the memory leaks problem, respectively. Our team of iOS Swift developers worked quickly to fix these problems while simultaneously working to optimize the Frisky application experience.
The Frisky Radio app is now completely optimized, crash-proof and accessible via the Apple App Store. The ability to stream underground hits and queue multiple downloads is at the touch of a button.

Facial Tracking Application
A private client was looking to develop a facial tracking application with uses in medical and healthcare settings. The goal was to increase the accuracy of consultations and procedures, and provide a new standard of training for students and assistants. They tapped our team at CXR to explore the possibility of a mixed reality smart glasses application – something that had not been done before.
Engineered with Unity and C++, this revolutionary application can track up to 17 facial feature points at a time, passing camera frames through algorithms and machine learning to overlay a face with an AR user interface in real time.

LiveChair
Live Chair started out as a vision to revolutionize the barbershop experience. Since the experience did not exist yet, we started from the ground up, working closely with Andrew and his team to understand the goals of their application requirements in greater detail.
First, we upgraded the app MVP’s that were already established in its codebase. We were trusted with the position of CTO and to engage with the LiveChair team on a weekly basis to review codes and app architecture, so that communication between the two teams was heightened and to ensure decisive methods were chosen for optimal performance.
Once the LiveChair iOS, Android and web applications were deployed, the CXR team worked hand-in-hand with LiveChair to guarantee their satisfaction with the finished product. Because the app idea delved into new innovative territory, CXR worked through a number of database and application reconstructions as to ensure optimal performance and design for the application's success.

A Forward Thinking Way to Find Calm
The client, a giant in medical innovation, was looking to create an immersive experience that could walk even novices through a meditative experience to calm them and help patients dealing with a variety of conditions. With experience creating award-winning VR applications, they knew the CXR team was the right fit to further develop the concept and create a full experience that could be deployed to a headset.
This immersive experience offers a range of soothing destinations in which users can enjoy a guided box breathing meditation or simply engross themselves in the environment – helping manage pain and leaving them refreshed and ready to return to the real world.

MakeShop
CXR Agency was tasked with developing the web application architecture for Makeshop, designing email templates and integrating stripe payment software, while improving booking experiences for patrons that were soon to be collaborating with creatives.
As a result of the final web app product, patrons were able to seamlessly book their creative development appointments from their phones and desktops adding ease to the creative booking experience.

Workbench VR
CemtrexLabs teamed up with Workbench VR to provide a white-labelable framework for the efficient and effective deployment of Hololens-based AR tools. These tools would then optimize the industrial assembly workflow.
Our team designed and developed holographic step-by-step assembly guides, interactive holographic resources, collectivized floor data, smart tool integrations and easy inter-staff communication for guiding and/or troubleshooting.

NYX
CemtrexLabs was approached with the concept for an Archival Communication Interface. The NYX system would enable their team to rapidly create and manage beautiful responsive web-based image archives for galleries and institutions worldwide through one centralized system and database, with rich metadata and tagging features and advanced on-page SEO structures for optimized crawling, where desired.
CemtrexLabs' team members had worked with tons of website generators collectively over the years and were eager to apply them to the concept. We wanted to be sure their design was as simple as possible yet allow the NYX team to create variability and uniqueness to each individual archive - while also keeping responsiveness in mind.
It was extremely important that the pages generated were unique, while clean and focused on the art of the archive. Leveraging SVG assets throughout the experience and enabling NYX to upload SVG logos for each archive, CemtrexLabs enabled NYX to set a subtle color theme for each archive that would not only apply to text and hover states but the graphical assets of the archive as well.
CemtrexLabs worked in their typical framework of 2-week sprints, burned down the product backlog in 24 weeks and deployed the system for live use.
We continue to support NYX on iterating and maintaining on the system currently.

Haiku
Building upon an experiment they had conducted previously, Ajay wanted to build a platform for quick and small celebrations of professional achievements.
CXR adapted a flow that incorporated fun and useful animations that let the user seamlessly navigate the app. We sought to use what we had learned through the creation process to guide the display, consumption, and interaction of completed Haikus.
We made many iterations directly within the code, typically during live coding sessions with Ajay and the CXR front-end and back-end development teams.
Haiku was built with Symfony 2 PHP with MongoDB database and served by Apache 2 from Amazon Web Services. The experience was crafted with a combination of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and JQuery, and the web app leverages Bootstrap, the Google Contacts API, and Google Login.

Metroloft
The Metroloft team wanted to redesign their site to make it simple and elegant, but also easy to update and maintain. CXR laid out a wide variety of personas and use cases, then began working on a responsive experience that focused on large, rich imagery and de-emphasized anything wordy or too text-heavy, letting the buildings and properties ultimately speak for themselves.
CXR then charged forward on coding and polishing the experience over the course of the next 6 weeks.
The site was built with WordPress and served by Nginx on Amazon Web Services, while the experience of the site was crafted with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. We continue to provide LiveOPs support to the Metroloft team.

Nex.tt
When Ajay began to develop the concept for the Nex.tt idea accelerator, he approached it in a highly iterative manner. We immediately began to work with Ajay to create a site that would serve as the primary entry point for applicants to the program.
As we had worked with Ajay in the past and were looking to figure out many parts of the experience out along the way, we opted to work in a rapid application development (RAD) framework as opposed to a more traditional agile framework.

Spindy
The team at Spindy had a vision for a more engaging rewards app that would improve customer retention and engagement for businesses across the United States.
With wireframes and flows already defined, the CXR team focused on optimizing their designs and branding for both iOS and Android and developing an engaging front-end for users.
The Spindy app has garnered praise from many users for its engaging design and experience. Since its launch, Spindy has partnered with companies like Carls Jr., Burger King and Taco Bell to provide innovative rewards programs for their customers. CXR still supports Spindy to this day as it continues to expand nationwide.

V Magazine
After just ending their relationship with a previous digital agency, whom they had commenced their responsive redesign and redevelopment, V Magazine enlisted CXR to redesign and restructure their site on a new platform.
We had just 8 weeks to round off the redesign, restructure and refracture usable bits of inherited code, while rewriting the rest and migrating thousands of pages and assets to a WordPress multisite.
In those 8 weeks, we discovered the magazine’s goals and pain points, performed an intensive code review, implemented user experience strategy to meet the company’s goals, and prepared our product backlog for the coming engineering sprints.
We easily refined the experience for desktop, tablet and mobile, and met the deadline by borrowing from our SpecialOps practice to amend our typical agile development process.

PaidEasy - Aquired by UNDISCLOSED
PaidEasy was an app developed to easily enable small merchants to begin taking mobile payments without any additional hardware. CXR immediately jumped into a discovery phase that entailed extensive market and technical research, in-depth interviewing of potential merchants, consumers and other individuals already operating in the space.
We researched and established relationships with key technology partners and brought the vision from concept to realization.
PaidEasy closed a $1M USD secondary seed round in August 2015 at a $5M valuation.

Vilcek Foundation
The Vilcek Foundation, an organization dedicated to highlighting the contributions of immigrants in the United States and promoting the arts and sciences, approached CXR Agency with the goal of creating volumetrically captured 3D files of traditional Native American pots.
CXR team successfully overcame the challenge of creating precise and detailed 3D models of pieces by utilizing post-editing techniques. They were able to sample the texture of the pot and recreate an accurate looking bottom portion.
Using Artec 3D scanners, CXR team was able to quickly create detailed 3D models – removing 70% of the process required for traditional 3D modeling from scratch.
CXR team evaluated and isolated a 3D model viewing platform that wouldn’t compromise file quality . Unity proved to be the best solution.
The Vilcek Foundation received 3D models of Native American pots with a textured finish, specifically designed for online viewing and utilization in AR/VR technology.

Richemont Arcadium: An Innovative AR Experience
Richemont, the parent company of world-famous luxury brands like Piaget, Mont Blanc, Jaeger-LeCoultre and Cartier, wanted to create an immersive magic room for their popup at Hudson Yards in NYC, Arcadium.
In 11 weeks, we created the entire experience and brought the whole thing to life in time for the launch of Arcadium. With over 7,000 visitors over the course of two weeks, 2,000 magic selfies, and overwhelming praise from visitors, the experience event off without a hitch.
The Richemont team was overjoyed at the reception and grateful for the unprecedented turnaround time to realize their vision.

MetaProp
As one of the world’s leading real estate tech (known as PropTech) venture capital firms, MetaProp trusted the CemtrexLabs team to upgrade their digital persona to match their innovative mission.
Lacking an overarching design strategy, one of the team’s first steps was to review the site’s user experience. With new branding ready to show off, the site needed to be cleaned up to match the refresh the client needed.
With a range of exciting companies in their portfolio, the client wanted a central location to list all open positions. The team pulled this off with a Greenhouse integration that gathers all the jobs in a simple list – giving users an easy way to get a better idea of growth at MetaProp’s portfolio companies.
A poor mobile experience is problematic for any modern company. The C-Labs team was so excited by the opportunity to improve the experience that it quickly rose to become one of the site’s strengths.
Armed with a completely new, modern identity and aesthetic that reflects their mission, MetaProp is well positioned for the future. The website now offers a wealth of information about the firm and its portfolio – all of which is organized, easy to find, and a joy to navigate.

onXRP
onXRP, approached CXR agency, to design and develop a central hub with the core goal of making the blockchain accessible for everyone and providing a one stop shop for everything crypto related.
The CXR team partnered with onXRP to create a cohesive brand, content hub and custom marketplace tailored to the brands specific needs. Through a collaborative development process and utilizing the agile Scrum methodology, the team was able to overcome technical challenges and meet scheduling deadlines. The partnership between CXR and onXRP resulted in the successful design and implementation of onXRP.com.
CXR’s team of experts leveraged Next.js, a powerful React-based front-end development library, and Node.js as a backend framework to build an intuitive marketplace for digital collectibles. The marketplace features include minting, viewing, and purchasing NFT’s, linking your wallet, and more.
The onXRP marketplace has made a strong entrance in the NFT world as the 1st and industry leading NFT marketplace for the XRP Ledger as well as the crypto content authority. As a result, individuals and collectors are eager to utilize the platform to create their own unique NFTs, build their portfolio, and participate in the thriving NFT economy on Ripple’s ledger.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Our blog performance over the last 3 months compared to the same 3 months in 2020: (*Pulled Nov 22nd)
- Increase in clicks into posts by about 13,000
- Total impressions for blog posts have increased by over 373,000
- Average ranking position of blog posts has improved from 41 to 18
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
We started with a bi-weekly meeting with developers at the start to work through ideation and site build issues, along with using the Cemtrex teamwork tools to keep track of project status and deliverables. After some additional evaluation, we determined that having a PM on the project moving forward would help both teams with project execution and expectation level setting.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The owners are willing to address any issues and exert effort to make improvements quickly. As a company, our team values vendor relationship building, which is clearly as important to Cemtrex.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
When we first launched, I think there was an assumption that we had a design or UX background that would enable us to communicate effectively with developers. After some trial and error enlisting a PM as a go-between team was a great solution to lead to a great improvement in our workflow.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the director of SEO and SEM at a fashion design and wholesale company. I also manage our software development team.
What challenge were you trying to address with CemtrexLabs?
We needed to re-platform our consumer-facing website.
What was the scope of their involvement?
CemtrexLabs has helped us take our web hosting and management from our previous vendor and transition its whole infrastructure over to a new platform. Since then, we’ve kept them on board to help us with various other projects, including feature improvements on the current website and the website revamp we plan to do next year.
As for the technology stack, our site is built on WordPress, so CemtrexLabs has helped us transition it onto the WP Engine cloud-based hosting service. They’ve also integrated GitHub as well.
Other of CemtrexLabs tasks have included web design, research, web infrastructure development, and software development. For example, we’ve worked with their design team on the upcoming project. This project has included competitor research, wireframe development, and design so far.
What is the team composition?
I currently work with a project manager, 2–3 software developers, and a QA contributor. We’ve scaled up our staffing with them to 8+ resources in the past, including additional software developers and senior management for strategic guidance.
How did you come to work with CemtrexLabs?
I found them through a Google search that led me to their profile on a reviewing site.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent over $100,000 so far, and we will continue investing in their services over the next few years.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in September 2021, and our engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
CemtrexLabs has been a powerful addition to our organization — I absolutely recommend working with them. At this point, I see them as our long-term technology partners. Everything they’ve brought to the table, including the products they’ve developed, the processes they’ve implemented, and the people who have worked on those projects, has been of the highest quality.
Since the initial website migration, their proactive approach has reduced the frequency of website bugs and errors and has enabled us to respond far faster than before when issues do arise. They’ve also helped us transition to a more secure and stable content publishing process, and they’ve delivered more than 10 features that improve our website usability, both for consumers and administrators.
How did CemtrexLabs perform from a project management standpoint?
CemtrexLabs’ project management is excellent. A website infrastructure transition project can get very messy, but they were able to get it done on time and on budget. Overall, their estimates have been accurate, and they’ve been able to deliver against those. We use Teamwork for project management and have a daily standup meeting via Google Meet. Additionally, we use email, text messaging, and phone calls for regular communication when needed.
What did you find most impressive about them?
CemtrexLabs’ breadth of technical knowledge and resources is impressive. Although we’ve used them for a limited set of technologies so far — mainly WordPress — we know they have AR and VR technology experts in their team. As we’re getting ready to revamp our site, we’re confident that they’ll be able to help us with headless technology and whatever other technology needs we might have as our business continues to evolve.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
The way I work with CemtrexLabs is by collaborating and engaging with them every single day, which is what has made our project so successful. Treat them as true partners instead of simple service providers, and they’ll be able to deliver.

I head up brand marketing and partnerships for banking and financial services solutions provider Imaginovation Fintech Solutions Group
For what projects/services did your company hire CXR, and what were your goals?
As part of our vision of creating the ultimate customer engagement ecosphere for small to medium sized banks we are reimagining online retail and building a fully immersive 3D, VR shopping paradise so that people can both manage AND enjoy their wealth in the same app
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We ran an RFP with three potential vendors and chose CXR on the basis of chemistry, vision, capabilities and price
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
The project eventually manifested itself in three distinct phases:
- Initial visualization in VR (using Tiltbrush)
- Translating to mobile (AR) creating key visuals, flow diagrams and wireframes
- Creating a working prototype in VR, again using a combination of Tiltbrush and Unity
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
About 4, the key people being Creative Director, EVP of Sales & Marketing and a Project Manager.....
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
This is early stage prototype development so no specific metric other than we were highly satisfied with the outcome which both meets our needs as an early stage demo for potential partners and provides the bedrock for further development and build...
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
Well organised, collaborative and transparent
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Their uncompromising creativity enables them to go toe-to-toe with those who refuse to accept conventional solutions.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
There was a constant creative tension between developing something unique for the here and now that wouldn't as a result only achieve scale in an imagined technological future in five years time (i.e. when VR, for example, might have achieved decent penetration amongst the population as a whole rather than just gamers). However, developing for the future and then adapting for the present did inspire the end result.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm the CEO of a company developing wellness solutions in VR.
For what projects/services did your company hire CXR, and what were your goals?
We wanted a deep dive into our concept work and an out put with recommendations, visuals and pricing by phase
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We reviewed the top 10 AR/VR vendors around the world and these guys won hands down for many reasons. Responsiveness, depth, experience, breadth of capabilities, flexibility...
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
This was a scoping and recommendation project. Therer were 8 sprints that lasted 2-3 weeks each.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
I don't know the titles, but we had a pm, 3 designers, an interactions guru and at least 4 others. The CEO was on almost every call and always available to talk to before or after calls.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
On time, on target, on budget.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
Very efficient, great tools, multibrush wasn't what we hoped, but did end up working well.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Team was in constant communication regarding progress, details and challenges – allowing for smooth progress and total clarify about timeline and scope Designers had wonderful ideas that they were able to evolve quickly based on feedback. Working with their experienced team offered an unmatched level of industry and technical knowledge. These came with general flexibility that greatly contributed to the final product
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
PM's should be client advocates. On occasion we felt over managed and that the PM stretched his responsibilities beyond project management. Minor issue for sure, we understood where he was coming from, but some room for imporvement.

Software & Web Development Services for Publishing Firm
"Their team is very fluid — they ensure we have the resources to tackle projects of all sizes."

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I'm the digital business lead and head of product for our US digital division at a multi-billion dollar publishing firm with two of the most sold magazines that have websites we maintain. We are currently undergoing internal changes because another publishing company recently acquired our company.
What challenge were you trying to address with CemtrexLabs?
I started in my current position in February 2020, right after my company migrated the editorial websites' CMS to WordPress. The company handling that service was very costly, and getting anything done outside of the scope of work was very expensive. We needed another off-shore solution to manage product and software upgrades because we have no in-house development or engineering resources.
What was the scope of their involvement?
CemtrexLabs runs all of our software development projects. They maintain our websites and upgrade them as needed; their team upgrades and updates our site plug-ins. Whenever we need new features added to the site, we reach out to CemtrexLabs for soup-to-nuts development. They design and develop prototypes that meet our requirements; once approved, the CemtrexLabs team develops the product. Their team also handles product QA.
What is the team composition?
We've worked with a project manager and several developers and engineers.
How did you come to work with CemtrexLabs?
We knew it wouldn't be cost-effective to continue working with our previous vendor. We were working with WordPress VIP, and their team came to us with several suggestions for development partners. Once we received their suggestions, we put 6–7 companies through a rigorous vetting process. We spent six weeks interviewing firms, but CemtrexLabs' services were the closest to what we needed. After a six-month trial period, we hired CemtrexLabs.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested $70,000–$110,000 with CemtrexLabs.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our engagement with CemtrexLabs began in August 2020, and it's ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our partnership with CemtrexLabs is very collaborative. We can go to them with a basic idea, and they'll work alongside my team to build out a solution. This collaborative work style is excellent because they can work independently to develop solutions after we present them with an idea — we don't have to hold their hand throughout a project. My time is limited and I don't want to micromanage them. Overall, CemtrexLabs is on the mark 99% of the time.
The modifications we've made to our platforms with CemtrexLabs have been great. We've brought in a lot of revenue because of CemtrexLabs' output. We've found efficiencies and ways to get around spending large sums of money on small solutions. Our team now works a lot more efficiently and is cash-flow positive.
How did CemtrexLabs perform from a project management standpoint?
CemtrexLabs manages our projects well, despite having ebbs and flows in the number of projects we have for them to work on. Their team is very fluid — they ensure we have the resources to tackle projects of all sizes. Whenever I need to discuss a potential project or existing project issues, there is always someone from CemtrexLabs' team available. CemtrexLabs has also accommodated my request for an on-shore project manager.
What did you find most impressive about them?
It's tough to pinpoint precisely what makes CemtrexLabs so great, but their flexibility is unbelievable. Their flexibility, coupled with the constant communication and accountability, is what makes our relationship so successful.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I have nothing for CemtrexLabs to improve. Anytime I've requested a project change, they've accommodated me.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I'd advise customers to be upfront about their challenges and development situation with CemtrexLabs. Transparency will help CemtrexLabs prepare for any engagement. It's also important for customers to rely on CemtrexLabs to deliver what needs to be done.

Web Dev & SEO Services for Content Website
"We don’t want another company like ours to fall into the same trap."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
Respondent 1: I’m the operations manager of a content company.
Respondent 2: I’m the director of marketing. I oversee anything related to awareness, publicity, and the website, which is a big marketing tool.
Respondent 3: I’m the owner.
What challenge were you trying to address with CemtrexLabs?
R1: We were trying to optimize our website speed, as well as ensure that our site was as mobile friendly as possible. A third focus was optimizing the page for SEO.
What was the scope of their involvement?
R2: I can’t speak to the tools they were using behind the scenes. We asked them what was happening on the backend and we asked them about the marketing technology stack but they were very gated with us. They never let us see what was happening on the backend. All we saw was a staging page for the site after weeks and weeks. Given my past experience with websites, you’re given access early on to go in and experiment, rather than being forced to wait and see. We lost a lot of time in not being able to give them feedback until the end. We gave them some small feedback along the way, but it was like moving in baby steps.
R1: The SEO was similarly gated. We shared what we wanted to achieve but it wasn’t clear what they were providing on the backend with the rewrite of our website theme. Despite raising the conversation quite frequently, we were only told at the end that SEO development was out of scope and that it would cost us more money to bring on an SEO expert. This was very confusing and counter to the work order that we signed, which explicitly stated technical SEO updates and optimizations.
R2: One of our own employees ended up doing the SEO work.
What is the team composition?
R1: We had a project manager who technically led every review call. He was challenging to work with. At the beginning, we spoke with one of the top marketing people at the company, but he wasn’t present on most of the calls after we signed the work order.
There were quite a few web developers (6–7 additional people) on the calls as well, and even though we were paying for them to be there, we didn’t hear from them much, which was quite frustrating.
There was also a bit of a communication barrier. Changes that we requested would get misinterpreted, and sometimes it felt like our review calls would take twice as long as they needed to. We raised this issue at the outset with the project manager in the hopes of addressing it early on and not wasting anyone’s time or money, but it was never really resolved.
R2: The project manager did not appear knowledgeable or involved. Calls that were supposed to last for 30 minutes or one hour would sometimes only take seven minutes. They didn’t charge us for these meetings, but it seemed very unnecessary.
How did you come to work with CemtrexLabs?
R1: We reached out to our hosting company, and they recommended several web developers that were knowledgeable of WordPress VIP, which is the hosting platform we use. This prompted the initial conversation. They are very good marketers, so they did a great job of selling what they could offer us, but, unfortunately, they didn’t fulfill those promises.
How much have you invested with them?
R1: We spent over $80,000 with them.
What is the status of this engagement?
R1: We worked together from November 2021–March 2022.
How did CemtrexLabs address the challenges that arose?
R2: They did not apologize or take any responsibility for their actions. Rather than agreeing to meet us halfway or even a quarter of the way, we still have to pay them $80,000. At the end of the day, they didn’t listen to us or care to, and now we have to pay for a theme that we can’t push live.
Describe the impact this engagement has had on your business.
R1: We’re taking the time to leave this review because we’re very passionate about what a horrible experience we had with this company, and we don’t want another company like ours to fall into the same trap.
It’s very easy to run a speed test, so we ran the revised theme through it and it performed more poorly than our existing site did. This was an obvious failure. For mobile optimization, we found many issues during the final review: coding wasn’t correct, images and icons weren’t displayed correctly, etc. Over 80% of our audience accesses our site on mobile devices, so this was an enormous issue.
R2: We brought up this issue constantly. When they showed us the initial mockup, it was on a 10-year-old mobile phone. Their skill wasn’t what they’d advertised regarding mobile.
R1: One of the parts of the work order was ad placement. A good portion of our revenue comes from the banner ads on our website. In the final review, the ads weren’t loading correctly, which would have significantly impacted our revenue. For this reason alone, we couldn’t have pushed their theme live.
With SEO, we never received a clear understanding of what they did on the backend to optimize it. Therefore, it was impossible to determine whether their new theme would have had a positive impact or not.
How was project management handled?
R1: We did have regular sprint calls on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. They didn’t do a great job of letting us know what we were at with the budget, where it was being used (mobile, SEO, etc.) There was never a clear background.
When we wrote the termination notice in March, I asked for a breakdown of how that $80,000 was used, and we never received it.
R2: They always gave us the runaround, claiming that all the information was provided in the calls even though it was not. It was exhausting to the point that they purposefully didn’t want to understand what we were saying.
R1: We had our review calls over Zoom, and they used Teamwork internally. They also created a Slack channel with us.
Is there anything that the vendor did well or that you would consider a strength?
R1: They get a 10 out of 10 for being amazing marketers.
R2: They did a bait in switch. The sales person disappeared and would only appear on calls to fight us on questions or issues
In what specific areas can they improve?
R1: First, they could be more open and candid about how their budget is being spent. Having regular conversations with clients will make them feel more valued. Additionally, responding that every change requested is out of the scope makes clients feel that they can never have a real conversation. We didn’t feel valued by them.
Finally, analyzing how often it’s necessary to meet with the client will help everyone make the best use of their time. Beyond their people on the calls, we also had some of our other team members on the calls, and they ended up being a pretty big waste of time and money.
R2: Don’t tell client’s that your capabilities are beyond what they actually are. They sold us on the fact that they were mobile experts, but they were just pretending, in my view.
What advice do you have for clients with similar needs to yours?
R1: Looking back, our work order was not detailed enough, and we really regret that as a company. It was much too vague. How you interpret some of the parts of the work order may be different than how they interpret them. Ensure that the work order and the results you're expecting are very detailed.
R2: I’m not trying to be too negative, but I would never recommend that someone work with them. There are just too many companies out there that are doing a much better job.
The vendor responded on April 19, 2022.
This review is inaccurate in many ways, and their characterization of our company is demonstrably false.
Many issues were caused by a misunderstanding of the project scope. We had extensive conversations with their CTO and created a plan for multiple phases of work. But the client fired their CTO within an hour of signing the Letter of Engagement and Work Order.
That CTO was replaced by a committee of 4-6 non-technical stakeholders who admitted they didn’t understand any aspect of website development, the signed contract, or the agreed-upon scope of work.
As a result, we faced multiple communication challenges throughout despite following industry best practices. They often gave contradictory instructions and repeatedly held back their feedback for over a week, which exceeded the timeline stipulated in our contract.
For example, despite approving our designs during discovery and having access to the finished pages when we shared builds at the end of every sprint, the client changed their mind on some of the pages and mobile designs, demanding they be redone in the last week of the project.
The work order for technical SEO optimization also seemed to be a major point of confusion. We had a team of developers optimizing their site, but they asked us detailed questions about their article content. That was outside of the project scope. When we added someone to the team to fill this role, the client had us remove them because they realized that adding more resources and out of scope requests would require additional budget.

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of an immersive tech company that focuses on education and training.
What challenge were you trying to address with CemtrexLabs?
We were trying to accomplish a scalable white label solution that would increase the efficiency of the product not only for our internal team, but also from a UX standpoint. Essentially, we wanted to give businesses the right tools to administer low-level tasks, that come with managing inventory and immersive content.
What was the scope of their involvement?
The project started with an in-depth discovery session where we worked with their creative director and visionary office, as well as some of the lead architects and 3D artists. After we ironed out the deliverables, timelines, and goals, we then put those concepts into execution and developed this project from the ground up using various SDKs and software tools.
What is the team composition?
We worked with roughly around 7–8 people from their team. We had a project manager, a lead architect, technical artists, 3D artists, and a couple of developers.
How did you come to work with CemtrexLabs?
They were highly recommended by my mentor. We worked hand-in-hand when I moved to New York then he introduced me to Lucky (EVP of Sales & Marketing), who told me about his company and how they might be able to help me.
We thought that they truly understood what our vision was and what we were looking to accomplish — it gave us peace of mind that they were the right team to work with.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent roughly around $130,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from February–October 2017.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’re a very young company and we only had one client prior to working with CemtrexLabs. When we engaged with them, we were able to garner more than four times the customers. Apart from that, we analyzed the cost analysis of hiring full-time employees against an agile development team, and the latter turned out to be a much more efficient route. Working with CemtrexLabs probably saved us at least $300,000.
How did CemtrexLabs perform from a project management standpoint?
They were great from a project management perspective, as they were very organized and transparent. We had a technical internal team, but we just didn’t have the human capital to facilitate what they were doing — thanks to CemtrexLabs, we were informed about the specific aspects of what we were working on.
Furthermore, their project management style was very transparent, and the sprints and deliverables moved efficiently. We mostly communicated through Google Hangouts.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I like that they have a very unique approach when it came to AR/VR development. They were very well-versed in the nuances of this emerging industry, which was important to us, because traditional software development is very different from augmented reality development.
Are there any areas they could improve?
It’s hard to pinpoint since we were very happy with the overall outcome of the relationship, which we still have to this day. However, if I can recall, there were a couple of pieces of software they were unfamiliar with at the time — but to their credit, they were able to adapt and learn from that experience.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I believe you need to have a solid understanding of what you’re trying to accomplish because CemtrexLabs won’t be doing the work for you. They pride themselves on collaborating and bringing out the best in any project. Even if you don’t have the answers, make sure you at least have a solid foundation of what you’re trying to achieve.

Please describe your company and your position there.
Founder and CEO of SaaS startup
For what projects/services did your company hire CemtrexLabs, and what were your goals?
Build Webapp from scratch for all UI, UX, design, and development services.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
3 main factors: They have a great website so I figured they could build me a good one too, they communicated the best during my selection process, and offered the most reasonable price
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
Started literally from scratch. It was an idea I had written down and I tasked them with using their tech stack to build this from the ground up. We created a webapp that has 5 user types, search algorithms, and other various logic components. Key deliverable was a live, fully functioning version of the website that was only a thought in my mind 16 months ago. Second contract included updates and refined the product offerings.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
I only worked with one person on a regular basis, who was the liaison between me and most of the team- Project Manager. I met regularly with the main project managers from each department at least once per week.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Considering that I only had written instructions for what I wanted before I submitted the assets over to the team to start reviewing. They did a great job handling a non-technical founder such as myself.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
Timeliness: Short-term deadlines were usually met, but the broader contract final deadline was very delayed. The first contract was extended by 149% of the original contract duration (additional 155 days), and the second contract was extended by 90.5% of the contract's duration (additional 76 days) Project management: Start with what I wanted to build, clarify points, start UI/UX, refine design, develop functionalities. Communication tools: Teamworks online communication platform
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
I found it very impressive how well they were able to work with a non-technical founder and build something from just an idea and a few Word/Excel documents into a fully-functioning webapp
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Improved transparency, communication, and support. I may never find this, but I'll always hope to find an agency that can truly act as my own internal team. For example- offering suggestions and relating new functionalities to other parts of the webapp. I also say transparency because I am confident that they withheld on going above and beyond to create a better application for me because they didn't want to go above budget. However, I would've liked to know what it would've costed for extra things like: Not using stock imagery, creating a better UX for sign ups and certain menu items (I often found myself googling how to improve UI/UX to give them suggestions), spending time figuring out bug fixes (I ended up fixing one on my own), etc.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the former managing director of a co-working company.
What challenge were you trying to address with CXR?
People weren’t coming to our spaces due to the COVID-19 pandemic, so we needed to develop something that could convey the quality and design of our office spaces through a virtual experience.
What was the scope of their involvement?
CXR designed a VR that we send out to potential clients. It showcases the whole space with different click-through points. People can navigate through and feel like they’re walking off an elevator, into the lobby, and other aspects of our buildings that capture our facilities’ general look and feel.
What is the team composition?
Our main point of contact was Lucky (VP of Sales). There were also around nine people from their creative side involved in the project.
How did you come to work with CXR?
I worked with them on different projects in the past.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent around $25,000 with them,
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together on this project from March–June 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The deliverable was great, and we felt confident in removing the physical tour and turning it into a virtual one. We felt comfortable with their work, and it came out excellent.
How did CXR perform from a project management standpoint?
They were communicative, and we could always rely on them to meet the timelines.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Communication distinguished them from other providers; they were responsive, so we didn’t have to wait long for them to respond regardless of the question.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t think there’s anything they can improve on — it was a great overall experience.
Any advice for potential customers?
Have an understanding of the direction you want to go with the project — that’s helpful.
The client was pleased with CXR Agency’s work. The team was patient, responsive, and willing to answer questions. Their innovative ideas brought the network game to life.
