Web Development Services for Communications Agency
“I truly appreciated that Cut2Code was open and ready to change things when we wanted.”

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m a lead consultant at a London-based communications agency.
What challenge were you trying to address with Cut2Code?
We needed web development help since we had issues with our in-house capabilities. Our team hired Cut2Code for that.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Cut2Code developed our website on WordPress. The deliverable was a small storytelling website with a few animations, which made it a bit complex. Our team provided them with designs, but the actual build was done from scratch. The site also had a bunch of regular plug-ins.
What is the team composition?
We spoke with their customer representatives when we were figuring out our brief. Then, when we agreed on the cost and contract, we worked with their project lead and developers.
How did you come to work with Cut2Code?
We found Cut2Code by searching Google and looking into their portfolio.
How much have you invested with them?
Our investment was around $3,000–$4,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
The project lasted from March–April 2022.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our team members gave positive feedback to Cut2Code, saying they were responsive, open, and patient with us. We also received positive feedback from the end clients about our website's animations and speed. On top of that, the site’s backend was easy to manage and update.
Moreover, the timeframe was impressive. The project lasted for three weeks, and they had to work on many animations, so I appreciated their fast work. Their resources probably had to work overtime often to ensure we launched the project on time.
Overall, Cut2Code was truly helpful and responsive; they were able to jump on our brief quickly. We were happy with the results that they gave us.
How did Cut2Code perform from a project management standpoint?
Cut2Code adjusted to our tools, which was great. We used Slack once we went into development. We usually had weekly calls to discuss big issues. Our teams also used emails.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They were open, responsive, and patient. For comparison, other providers would’ve been easily irritated with the requests and changes that we wanted. I truly appreciated that Cut2Code was open and ready to change things when we wanted.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, there weren’t any. I was quite happy with their work.

Please describe your company and your position there.
We are the retail leader in the Polish market. I'm working in the employer branding department as a junior EB manager.
For what projects/services did your company hire Cut2Code, and what were your goals?
We were aiming for upgrading the current version of the website, eliminating flaws and shortcomings. We prepared a new design, filled with new functionalities and features. We were searching for a committed partner who could conduct a redesign and thorough update process on our website and we found that Cut2Code was the best choice.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We’ve received a recommendation from a company we’re having an on-going collaboration with. Since the first moment we contacted Cut2Code we knew there’s no reason to look elsewhere. We were stunned by their industry’s knowledge and ability to see how some parts of the design will reflect on the website itself. On the top of that the crew was eager and motivated to start working on the project.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
Cut2Code offered their services and expertise in coding the recruitment page, maintenance, bug fixing from the previous agency, help in managing the website and updating the content.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We worked with a dedicated group of specialists, consisting of a project manager, 3 developers, and account manager. Their team always takes a proactive approach and they’re recommending the best possible solutions.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Cut2Code responds to urgent requests with high priority, we’ve always could count on their responsiveness, openness to collaboration and creative web consultation.
We’ve updated our website, enabling our employees to enjoy improved UX features. Thanks to Cut2Code now they can enjoy automatic text notifications and customized content subscription that the employee has signed up for or read frequently.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
We have a great connection with Karolina, our Project Manager. She handles all of the tasks smoothly and efficiently. Cut2Code met all of our deadlines, always coming back with high quality deliverables. The main channel of communication was email and, we have to admit, we were always happy with their response time and problem-solving approach.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Cut2Code sets an example as a provider of accessibility features. By implementing a set of functionalities, we wanted to make the website easier to use for people with disabilities - mainly with visual impairments. That way, users should be able to change font size, website contrast, and eliminate some of the colors.
Additionally, we’ve requested that the navigation on the website will also be possible using the computer keyboard. Cut2Code met all of those requests and transformed challenges into smoothly delivered quests.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
They’ve met all the requirements and expectations.

Web Development for Marketing & Design Company
“Everything was handled very professionally, and they delivered the product before the deadline.”
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m a creative partner at a marketing and design company. We mainly focus on web development, web design, and marketing campaigns for small and medium-sized businesses.
What challenge were you trying to address with Cut2Code?
We were struggling with our technical resources because we had a lot of projects running simultaneously, and we were looking for a partner that could support us with web development, so we brought in Cut2Code.
What was the scope of their involvement?
After finding Cut2Code, we scheduled an introductory call. We discussed what we were trying to accomplish and determined the responsibilities from both sides to get the best quote for the project.
Then, we sent them the designs, documents, and requirements needed for them to deliver what we wanted. They came back with questions, so we did 2–3 rounds of Q&A; everything went pretty smoothly.
They were also very transparent and straightforward about how the entire collaboration would work, detailing who would be involved in each stage and which stages were required to complete the development.
After we had everything established, Cut2Code sent us the contract, and their onboarding went pretty smoothly as well. However, we had to wait a little longer for the project to start because they were waiting on a senior developer, which is the resource that we needed. Once they had this person free to work with us, they started their work.
They built a WordPress website from scratch, and they implemented a third-party plug-in that we wanted to have on it. Additionally, they implemented the animation and frontend frameworks needed.
They’ve already completed the project, but we still have a 3–4 months support period for our client to find bugs or issues that need to be fixed, in which case they will take care of them.
What is the team composition?
We worked with three people from Cut2Code: Adam (Project Manager), Tomasz (Sales Manager), and a senior developer. I was only in contact with Tomasz and Adam; I never had any contact with the developer.
How did you come to work with Cut2Code?
We were in a rush to complete this project because we had a slight delay on our end, so we wanted to find someone who would be available to work with us within the upcoming 3–4 weeks. I contacted several companies hoping to find one that was very involved in the project.
I found Cut2Code on Clutch. They had good reviews, and their pricing range was fair. When I contacted them, Tomasz called me straight away, and we scheduled the introductory call.
Other companies were slower to respond, and I didn’t trust them because their salespeople weren’t as technical as Tomasz. He was knowledgeable and trustworthy, and he knew what Cut2Code was doing. Even when I asked him about very specific things, he gave me a direct answer.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent around $10,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in May 2021, and they already completed the project. As we did QA on our end before sending the product to our client, we’re just waiting for our client’s feedback. However, no issues have been found yet, and they seem to be happy with the product.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The quality of the product that Cut2Code delivered was top-notch. The third-party plug-in required very specific skills to be implemented. However, they managed to do it, improving the experience we’re getting from this website.
They provided us with a very effective and flexible tool to manage the content coming through this plug-in, which was very hard to do because this structure was unprepared for its customization. This tool was very easy and intuitive to use, and the client was happy with the result.
The development from our standpoint was fast and well-delivered. The site that they created was fast, considering that the plug-in was very complex and received a lot of information. Additionally, the code on this project was very clean, so I can now go in and make improvements myself if needed.
How did Cut2Code perform from a project management standpoint?
Cut2Code’s project manager was very responsive, and every small feedback and question that we had were attended to promptly. Sometimes, we had a response within five minutes.
In general, our entire collaboration went pretty smoothly. Everything was handled very professionally, and they delivered the product before the deadline. We hope that they were happy to work with us because we were happy to work with them.
We managed the communication via email. At first, I was a little surprised that I didn’t have any direct communication with them, but our email communication was very smooth.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Cut2Code was very flexible. We had a fixed budget, but many other agencies had very strict prices, and their quotes almost doubled that budget. However, Cut2Code managed to fit within it.
Are there any areas they could improve?
We’ve sent Cut2Code suggestions and feedback via email. However, from working with other providers, we’ve learned that Slack is a very useful tool, so it would be great if they could handle the communication over Slack, too. Other than that, I don’t have other suggestions.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
To be honest, I don’t have any advice because the process is very smooth, and Cut2Code guides you through it.

Website Development for Charity Organization
"I don’t have anything I’d have them change — they were great."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of USBMIS, a charity organization.
What challenge were you trying to address with Cut2Code?
We wanted to convert our current site for charity preparation. It was written in Angular, and we tried to convert it into WordPress.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Cut2Code recreated our website in WordPress. They also created a theme for the site and plugins to make it work and converted old data from the Angular page into WordPress.
The website generates proposals for charity; the user can add text content describing the benefits of donating into different categories. Then the user can put everything into the proposal and include several various PDF forms required to make the donations. All of that produces one document, which is the proposal for the client.
What is the team composition?
I worked with a developer and a project manager throughout the project.
How did you come to work with Cut2Code?
We looked at Clutch and found them. We chose them because they were based in Poland.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent $7,000 with them on this project.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from June–August 2021.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The feedback has been positive; they were very available, and we didn’t have to wait a long time for them to respond — I’m happy with their work.
How did Cut2Code perform from a project management standpoint?
Project management was quite good. We could do some optimization in the next project, but this was our first cooperation — understandably, it wasn’t as good as it could be. Generally speaking, I’m happy with them. In terms of communication and tools, we used Trello, emails, and phone calls.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re speedy in making changes and developing.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t have anything I’d have them change — they were great.

Website Development for Branding Company
"It was pretty easy to work with their team. They had a great partnership mindset."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the managing director of a branding agency. We focus on branding, whether that’s messaging, visual identity, sales materials, or more.
What challenge were you trying to address with Cut2Code?
When we launched our company, our website was just a single scroll. We initially engaged with them to build out our WordPress site, make it a bit more robust, and add some pages.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We worked with Cut2Code in a couple of different capacities that pertain to our website. First, they built our website a bit more, and then we engaged them a second time to build out a template for us so we can publish annual reports. They also worked with a couple of our sister divisions, so they worked within our family of brands.
For our website, Cut2Code created two new sections. One of them featured case studies, and they built the ability to create different templates to showcase our work in modules with copy and images.
Then, the second portion of the website was our perspective section. We had an account on Medium where we linked all of our thought leadership articles. They built another template to bring them over and house them on our website. Now, we have a library of articles with text and images.
What is the team composition?
Tom (Sales Manager) was our primary point of contact. He looped other people from his team if he was traveling or otherwise unavailable.
How did you come to work with Cut2Code?
They reached out to me; I just received an email from them where they offered to help us. We started with a capability call to learn more about what they did. After that, we decided to give them a test run for our internal website. Their rates were affordable compared to the company that we worked with, so it was very appealing.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent less than $10,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in November 2020. We just wrapped our latest project in July 2021, so we don’t have anything active right now, but our partnership is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Since it was an internal initiative to build out our site, we don’t have a ton of metrics. Nonetheless, with these additional pages, we now have more data to look at. We can see where people are clicking and how much time they spend there, which is helpful.
From an anecdotal perspective, they were able to understand our needs and deliver what we asked for.
How did Cut2Code perform from a project management standpoint?
In general, they did an excellent job. They were always communicative and willing to hop on the phone. They were based in Poland, but they were easily available to talk through any questions. Cut2Code didn’t develop our website, so there was a learning curve to understand how it was built and fix bugs that they didn’t create. Overall, it was pretty easy to work with their team. They had a great partnership mindset.
We just communicated via email and shared Google Docs. We provided feedback through a Google document and shared it with their team. Then, they added comments or crossed things off as they completed them.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Honestly, it was their rates — they were super affordable. It was one of the biggest triggers to work with Cut2Code. Also, they had a pretty deep bench of developers, so they could jump in and take a look at something at any given time. Their turnaround time was pretty reasonable and quick for most revisions. Overall, it was a seamless experience.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There were a few lapses in communication, but they weren’t a big deal. Since our project was internal, we weren’t beholden to any client deadlines, so it worked out well.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Schedule calls whenever it’s possible. I thought those were more beneficial than emails because there was also a language barrier, so sometimes written communication would get a little bit lost in translation. For that reason, screenshots were also really helpful to describe an issue or an example of what we were looking for.

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of CauseVox. We’re a digital fundraising platform for nonprofits; our customers use us for online fundraising.
What challenge were you trying to address with Cut2Code?
Our development team is pretty busy building products; that’s our primary focus. Our challenge was to update and maintain our corporate website for our marketing team. We needed to update our WordPress site, take designs, and create or refresh pages.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Cut2Code updates our corporate site, so their services range from small changes or expanding the width of our blog content to developing new features or product pages. They basically take care of our website’s development.
What is the team composition?
Our main point of contact is Tom (Sales Manager), and we’ve worked with another project manager. Other people are working as project managers for our project, but we don’t interact directly with the development team on their side.
How did you come to work with Cut2Code?
We found them through Clutch; they had great reviews. We also found other companies on the site, so we ran a small test across different candidates. Cut2Code fitted what we were looking for. We started working together and got closer with our ongoing projects.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent around $5,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our first project was in November 2020, and we have an ongoing partnership. We give them different short-term projects.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We don’t measure our engagement based on metrics. We consider more their timeline estimates and responsiveness to feedback. We make sure that what they’re building meets the requirements we set out and whether they can turn around feedback and fix issues. So far, Cut2Code has done everything they’ve promised within time and budget.
Moreover, we work with many development teams, contractors, and freelancers, and one of the things we love about Cut2Code is that they’re great at turning around estimates and sticking to them. They’re also very good at stating what they can do. They don’t scope out things that aren’t in their wheelhouse. We appreciate that intense focus on scope and their honesty. We also enjoy the quality of their work; we don’t have to speak out in great detail for them to get to our end goal. Typically, their first-round delivery is pretty spot on, so we’ve had a great experience working with them.
How did Cut2Code perform from a project management standpoint?
It’s one of their strong suits. Our project managers are great at communicating. For instance, they’ve been super detailed in terms of requirements, and they’ve asked questions and been much more responsive than other managers we’ve worked with.
We communicate via email.
What did you find most impressive about them?
First, it’s really impressive how they manage the project and set expectations. Also, it’s remarkable how we don’t have to give them a pixel-perfect design to develop a perfect product. Their developers are able to take certain liberties and match what we’re looking for. Finally, we definitely get a lot of value from their work. The balance between estimates and budget versus the end product is amazing.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They should have a central place for project management. It would be helpful from a communication standpoint, especially if they’re managing multiple projects. We limited our team’s interface with them so we’d have a direct point of contact. It can be challenging to bring other people into the conversation just through email.

WordPress & Shopify Dev for Software Company
“Cut2Code has turned themselves into one of our most trustworthy and high-quality teams.”
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
We’re a nearshore development agency for our area, connecting our teams around Europe to clients in the UK. We vet, train, and look after our resources before finding the right opportunities for them. As an account manager, I sit across our biggest accounts.
What challenge were you trying to address with Cut2Code?
Cut2Code is one of the teams within our ecosystem. We tend to work with them on a project-by-project basis, though we do have a staff augmentation side to our business.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Cut2Code provides high-quality development projects to our clients. We go to them primarily for WordPress and Shopify builds, and they are our go-to WordPress team for our biggest client. They’ve completed nine projects to date with two that are nearly finished.
What is the team composition?
I’ve worked with two project managers, their business development manager, and the CEO. I don’t tend to work directly with their developers.
How did you come to work with Cut2Code?
My company found them before my time, but they came on my radar because they were very responsive and communicated well. That was what made them stand out. Their headline could’ve been, “Came for the high-quality communication and left with quality code.” Because they could provide that level of service, they built a notable amount of trust with me and the clients, which meant we could keep putting them on projects.
How much have you invested with them?
So far, they’ve completed about £30,000’s (approximately $41,600 USD) worth of projects.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working with them since June 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Cut2Code has turned themselves into one of our most trustworthy and high-quality teams. They’re capable of really strong communication, which is what helps them do a great job and get requested again. If we receive a WordPress opportunity, I give Cut2Code the first refusal.
We’ve also never had a formal complaint about them. In every software project, there tends to be a few small issues. However, Cut2Code is able to deal with them and still deliver on time, which is a clear metric for us.
How did Cut2Code perform from a project management standpoint?
Project management is one of the best things that they do — they have outstanding project managers who communicate clearly early on. In fact, we trust them so much that we let them run their projects; I don’t really need to get involved on that point.
Our tools shift depending on the projects. They’ve worked with clients through Jira and Trello, whereas we primarily communicate through Skype and Slack.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Nowadays, if you’re a mature development house, then you’ll have people who are capable of producing good code — that’s a given, so it’s really an entry seat to the table. It’s the impressive organizations that elevate themselves by communicating well.
That’s where Cut2Code excels. They epitomize clear, fast, incisive communication. If a decision needs to be made, they’ll suggest options to act on earlier than other companies would.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I’d like to see them grow their headcount because we want to push more projects to them. Aside from that, if we ever have any friction, we can talk with them directly because we have that kind of relationship.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
As with anyone, give them all the information that you’ve got and then trust them to do the job.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the managing partner and creative director at Paper Boy Media Group. We are an advertising and marketing agency based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Our business works with a decent amount of hospitality and aviation companies and does commercials, ads, and content marketing for them.
What challenge were you trying to address with Cut2Code?
Since we had been collaborating with other brands and helping other businesses, we hadn't had the opportunity to work on our company. Our business had had a lot of issues with other developments agencies when passing off Adobe XD files, layouts, and design templates. For instance, they didn't understand where some elements had to go, several assets were wrongly sized or missing, among many other problems. We contacted Cut2Code to help us with redeveloping and redesigning our website.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Cut2Code has put all of our products and case studies on our website and has a team dedicated to making the site look good. Our design team has created layouts, content, and other assets with customized templates for their team to work with. They are further developing the template on WordPress, implementing imagery and copy, and passing the site through various revisions.
Even though the staff has followed our template pretty close, they’ve implemented different functionalities that are pretty neat. For instance, we have a sidebar menu that opens up a panel that shows several blog posts when clicked.
At the end of the day, we are a creative agency, so we’ve been testing how far do we want to go in terms of development and design customization.
What is the team composition?
I’ve worked with Tomasz (Sales Manager), Mary (Project Manager), and Peter (Web Developer). Tomasz is the one who got us started on the project. Mary takes care of scheduling meetings and updates and making sure everything is organized. Peter has done an incredible job on the development front, and he is very nice.
How did you come to work with Cut2Code?
We did some research and found them on Google. Cut2Code’s website was clean and user-friendly, and the staff looked professional and easy to work with.
How much have you invested with them?
Our business has spent $5,000–$7,000 so far.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our engagement started in March 2021, and it’s ongoing. We plan on working with them on a couple of more projects.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Unlike other developers, Cut2Code has been able to piece together everything perfectly. The design has been spaced correctly, the size and style of the fonts are adequate, the images on the site shift according to the device used, and many other examples that clearly show us that they have understood our vision.
How did Cut2Code perform from a project management standpoint?
Cut2Code’s communication is on point. Working with overseas companies is sometimes complicated because of the language barrier, but all of their team members have great English skills. The staff schedules meetings properly and handles everything professionally. They follow up on emails and phone calls and are overall well-organized.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the Founder and Creative Director of an independent design studio in NYC. We use good design to clarify the world’s most complex topics and visualize impactful brand missions — without any of the typical agency fluff.
- Brand Identity: Bring brands to life (or refresh them) with scalable visual and verbal systems
- Digital Product: User-centric digital experiences that are as beautiful as they are functional.
- Content & Collateral: Relevant expressions of brands that meet customers where they are. We work across multiple industries including technology, healthcare, petcare, forestry, science research, education and the arts.
Our clients are mostly B2B and non-profits. Both categories give us the opportunity to create rich storytelling experiences.
For what projects/services did your company hire Cut2Code, and what were your goals?
We were looking for a long-term partner that will help us to refresh our website. We provided the design themselves and chose WordPress as our weapon of choice.
We wanted to communicate our work and achievements clearly to our potential new clients, proudly showcasing ourselves as a New York-based design agency that stands out among our competition.
How did you select Cut2Code and what were the deciding factors?
Tom, Cut2Code’s sales manager, reached out to us offering their services. We had a series of initial video chats where C2C explained their experience, capabilities and process. Throughout, they were easy to talk to, responsive and helpful. the combination of those qualities made them an easy choice.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
The main assignment that we chose C2C to realize was the frontend and backend coding of our new website. They were able to prepare a product that looks good and feels good, and also ranks well in terms of page speed and website optimization.
During the process they were also very helpful in explaining to us the complexities of WordPress, helping us to choose the solutions that suited us best and gladly shared their expertise on a wide range of topics (from technicalities of hosting and server environments down to very small details such as which Google plan would work best for us in terms of the integrations we chose to have on our site).
They felt like a great partner from beginning to end, sharing their knowledge and help from the design approval stage to the launch of the final site.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Throughout the project, my team was in a constant contact with Adam, our dedicated project manager. He served as a bridge connecting us with their team of multiple web developers and quality assurance managers that helped us bring our designs to live.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
A lot of praise has been delivered to us from our friends and business partners regarding the site we built together! Our old website performed well too, but I’m very satisfied looking at how the new one has turned out.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.
We communicated mostly via emails and Asana task management tool. We had a couple of face-to-face calls with their project manager too, especially during the initial stages of the project.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
I really enjoyed the level of care they were able to provide, alongside their fast responsiveness and thoroughness in each of their response. They were always polite, eager to help, and happy to point us in the right direction.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I only wish we could have worked with them more! I hope our cooperation will only expand in the upcoming months.
Internal and external stakeholders were impressed by the website; it was fast and easy to update and manage. Cut2Code was responsive, open, and patient. They worked hard to ensure they delivered all the client’s requests and changes. They were also flexible in terms of adjusting to the firm’s tools.
