Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the executive director of a software company in India. We provide software products, and we’ve been in business for the last couple of years.
What challenge were you trying to address with CUSP SERVICES LLP?
We wanted to expand our market; we had some challenges around growth, and there were some competing factors to resolve this. Since most people in the company didn’t have a background in sales and marketing, we wanted an external expert to come in and guide us in marketing aspects.

CUSP provided consulting services on the things we wanted to do.

They had two people: an expert in sales and a consultant. She was from the insurance sector.

I found them on LinkedIn. I was trying to shortlist the people who’d offered me their services, and we found CUSP to be ideal based on our interactions.

What is the status of this engagement?
We began our engagement in February 2021, and it lasted until July 2021.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We were extremely satisfied with our engagement. They gave us insights into the refinement process; we had a multi-stage sales process, and it was rationalized and struck down to reduce the number of sales stages. They created many criteria, which made us feel more effective and holistic. Additionally, we won a couple of projects based on the user inputs we got from CUSP.
How did CUSP SERVICES LLP perform from a project management standpoint?
They were hands-on. We had a lot of calls, and they aligned not only with me but with other stakeholders. Also, we had weekly tracking, and the scope of the engagement was governed by a few items that were completed promptly, even if it required time on our part.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They took a holistic approach and were hands-on. They put in other members to deliver the product; it wasn’t just sales and marketing. In the end, they gave us a complete solution.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, we were happy with their work. They gave us their 100% and exceeded our expectations.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Take them seriously and allocate time for their activities; even the client is expected to give their 100%. Get the entire company involved and have key people that can dedicate time to CUSP.

We were looking for more support in terms of strategy for our expansion.

I'm the co-founder and CEO of NuVeda Learning.
For what projects/services did your company hire CUSP SERVICES LLP?
Our company did not have a functioning sales engine. Cusp Services helped us set it up, and helped grow revenues over 300% from when we started.
How did you select this firm and what were the deciding factors?
Through a reference I received from a trusted source. The deciding factor was the way the trust was built from the get go. Cusp Services demonstrated how they could help us and it was a no-brainer from then on.
Describe the project in detail and walk through their service package.
I was a one-man sales engine for my 20-member product company. While we had acquired a few clients, the need to scale meant we had to build a proper sales engine - Cusp Services set up a weekly sales review cadence, regular checkins and coaching and training sessions for the entire team on sales enablement processes. We were introduced to a lead generation engine, relevant marketing tools such as Lushai and also the introduction of a CRM, which we did not have. All in all, it was a major turnkey project.

One - Sam Baba - he was the principal of Cusp Services.
Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?
We built a sales engine - separated out the recurring revenue from the revenues built from new clients; grew the sales team from 1 to 7 by the time the project ended; Grew revenues > 300% from when we started. Allowed us to expand to newer geographies.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Excellent and seamless. Calls, Emails, whatsapp messages and very responsive.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Their professionalism and tremendous work ethic were impressive. Sam is a great listener, and spoke honestly. I always felt I wasn't alone in my journey - Cusp services was side-by-side with me. I truly appreciated that!

Nothing specifically.
