Cunningham Consulting and Innovation LLC developed out of a growing need to address the service and efficiency gaps in nonprofit and for profit management from member engagement to operations and marketing.
After 9 years as a community organizer, nonprofit office manager and membership coordinator Hakim Cunningham thought that it was time to take a leap of faith. While working as an economic activist in low-income neighborhoods of Boston.
He saw first hands some of the harsh realities of poverty and low educational attainment. Hakim has devoted his life to improving the way nonprofits serve communities of color with a race and equity lens.
Hakim recently graduated from Sawyer Business School with a BSBA in Entrepreneurship and is working on a Master's in Public Policy at Tufts University.
Hakim and his ad-hoc staff works with small to medium-size organizations to help them design strategies and implementation plans. That can effectively meet the ever changing needs of 21st century forward thinking organizations. A seasoned facilitator and environmental literacy instructor Hakim does public speaking and skill building workshops that have lasting impact.
