About the Project
Tsaheelcom is an inner hotel management software that’s used by different hotels in the MENA region. Everything from room reservations to accounting and other services is managed through this system.
Problem
The old offline solution that was used by most hotels was slow, inefficient, hard to manage and can’t be accessed remotely. A new powerful system was needed to make managing the hotels easier.
Our Solutions
We provide a complete service that included setting a strategy for this new SaaS product, selecting the appropriate technology stack, studying other hotel systems, working with industry experts and developing the product.
One of the features that make this software unique is the ability to manage multiple hotels from the same dashboard, which is accessible from the web platform or the mobile app. In addition to the numerous features of the platform’s web version, we’ve developed an app that allows both the hotels’ staff and their clients to use the system on the go.
Customers can use the app to do things like requesting different services or making contact the hotel’s reception to inquire about anything.
The hotel’s staff can also use the app to check different tasks that are assigned to them, like rooms that need to be cleaned. They can also update the status of these rooms after they’ve cleaned them.

For what projects/services did your company hire Crown Tech?
We were encountering connectivity issues in Denmark. We needed a capable, flexible company to aid us in troubleshooting issues "on the ground".
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
I reached out to several IT providers in Denmark, but Crown Tech was by far the best suited to aid us. Their expertise and knowledge is unparalleled.

We needed a company to help us not only troubleshoot our connectivity issues, but also to visit 3 locations across Denmark and update the devices. Crown Tech came through when we needed them the most.

We worked mostly with William, he was a great help in debugging as well as determining a best course of action.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We were able to upgrade our devices and resolve any connectivity issues on time. No connectivity issues occurred due to the hard work produced by Crown Tech.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner of a booking platform for hotels and airplanes. The system also allows for the internal management of hotels.
What challenge were you trying to address with Crown Tech?
We were looking for a partner to develop our software.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Crown Tech developed our booking platform. Functionally similar to Expedia and others, it allows users to make reservations for hotels and airplanes. It features additional functionality: check-in and check-out management. From booking to check-in to check-out, users can rely on the app for the entire process. They’d no longer have to go to the front desk.
What is the team composition?
Crown Tech assigned ten people to our project.
How did you come to work with Crown Tech?
They were recommended to us by some friends who’d worked with them before. After consulting with them, we found that they’d be a great fit for our specific requirements. We started this project almost five years ago, and we’ve been very happy with Crown Tech so far.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent at least $120,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with Crown Tech in May 2014. We’ve had a long-term relationship with them for maintenance and upgrades.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We now consider Crown Tech a business partner, rather than a third-party development company. We’re more than satisfied with their development team because they understand our business, are great collaborators, and provide good quality of work. In addition to being cost-effective, they’ve delivered results on time and have provided great suggestions.
We haven’t been without a few misunderstandings, but they’ve always been professional in handling these situations. At the end of the day, we’ve worked really well together as a team.
How did Crown Tech perform from a project management standpoint?
They efficiently allocated their resources based on the manhours required, and they kept us updated on project progress. We have weekly meetings, and they carefully document our notes. They’ve commented out the code so that if we decide to go to another company for development, their developers could easily understand it.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Before implementing new features, Crown Tech always took the time to understand the principles behind them. They took the time to understand the challenge before constructing a solution. I found this strategy to be very effective.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They could employ external resources to enhance their UI capabilities.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
Clients should have no reservations in approaching Crown Tech. They’re professional in handling projects. They understand requirements, communicate with end-user to gather information, document the process and workflow, and get approval before actually starting coding. They’re flexible on payment terms. I’d definitely recommend Crown Tech to any of my friends who need development.
With the help of Crowntech, no further connectivity issues were encountered in the Denmark sites. The remote team successfully completed the update and debugging procedures, even across the world. As a result, any connectivity issues were resolved within a fast turnaround.
