"They’ve done phenomenal work.”

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of SIFT Institute. This institute is a state-approved school that provides continuing education for people looking to quickly transition to a new career. I’m also the CEO of Grenada Nut Co. We sell an all-natural pain relief oil that helps people with joint pain.
What challenge were you trying to address with Creatively Olivia?
Creatively Olivia provided services for both of my companies. In essence, I needed help with increasing the online presence for the institute and oil company. I had never leveraged social media before, and we didn’t have an internal web designer who could handle critical updates.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Creatively Olivia completely redesigned and developed the institute’s website by adding some critical features. Students can now go in and submit their information through the platform.
For my oil company, they retooled our payment portal so we could accept more types of payments. Creatively Olivia also updated our automatic responses for after-purchase emails through MailChimp. Their team created two landing pages for ad campaigns we ran to target mothers. They also managed all of our social media for a few months.
What is the team composition?
We work with one person for both projects.
How did you come to work with Creatively Olivia?
We found them on Upwork in a roundabout way. Originally, I was helping another company find a vendor and Creatively Olivia was one of the bidders. That company ended up going with someone else. However, I was very impressed with Creatively Olivia’s proposal. It was so well done that I kept their contact information in case I wanted to work with them down the road. A couple of months later, we had a need and reached out. They’ve done phenomenal work since then.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested between $10,000–$50,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our ongoing partnership began in May 2019.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
There’s no way we could’ve ran ads that significantly increased our sales like Creatively Olivia did. We were doing everything manually and saw a 15–20% uptick in conversion. That’s across both companies and all during the entire time we’ve worked with them.
How did Creatively Olivia perform from a project management standpoint?
Project management is good, we communicate virtually. Their team is extremely clear — especially for someone like me who didn’t know much about social media, how to establish the accounts, or run the ads. Creatively Olivia is really meticulous in structuring everything step-by-step and letting me know what to expect. They provide clear guidance on how to track results. This is the best thing about them.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They worked with us at our level by taking complex concepts and articulating them in a fashion that nontechnical people could understand. In addition to that, their flexibility was amazing. The original way we structured the contract wasn’t how we continued the engagement. That was because I didn’t word some things correctly.
However, they’re so used to working with nontechnical people that they understood what we meant, pivoted, and then delivered what we needed. Their team did so well on the institute’s website, that’s why we decided to seek their services with our oil company.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I think it’d be helpful if they had more people in their company. Currently, they’re limited by the number of people they can help. I understand why they want to ensure quality. However, more business owners would benefit from having them as an asset.
When I first contacted the owner, she wasn’t able to meet because she was busy. Once her schedule cleared up, she was available to work with us. If she could increase her capacity, that’d be great.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I’d advise them to call Creatively Olivia. They will meet you where you are.
Both companies have seen a 15–20% increase in conversion. Creatively Olivia implements clear communication and step-by-step guidance on tracking results. They're skilled at explaining complex ideas to those who are nontechnical. Flexibility and attention-to-detail are hallmarks of their work.
