Feedback summary:

Following a targeted launch, the application received generally positive feedback from clients. Creative 360 approached the project with great enthusiasm and technical skill. The fully-functional app was delivered within schedule and for a reasonable cost.

BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

C2GO is a payments facilitator. We issue Visa and MasterCard to our clients. I am the Chief Technology Officer of the company.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Creative360?

We needed to develop a mobile application that could give users access to functionalities which were previously only available through our web app.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Creative360 created the mobile version of our application, handling the user experience and artistic design elements, as well as building its functionalities.

Creative360 built a cross-platform app using the Ionic framework, instead of developing native versions.

How did you come to work with Creative360?

Our offices are located in the same workspace [WeWork]. I found Creative360 through our intranet. We approached 10 agencies for the project. Creative360 came out on top in terms of what they could offer and the price point for those services.

How much have you invested with Creative360?

The total cost of our project with Creative360 was between $10,000 and $50,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Creative360 in October 2015. The app was finished in April 2016. The timeline dragged on for a bit longer than I would have liked, mostly because of our company.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

Our app is pretty new and we're only now starting to release it to clients. We only target businesses, for which we have very good penetration at this point. The feedback we've gotten from clients has been positive.

What did you find most impressive about Creative360?

I appreciated Creative360's positive attitude. They have a professional team and provided good quality of work at a palatable price point.

Are there any areas Creative360 could improve?

Creative360 could have improved the timeliness of their communication. We didn't have any significant issues though, and the experience was positive overall.

Creative360 helped with the development plan, asking many pertinent questions.  The team has implemented every aspect of the project asked for and has done it ahead of the projected schedule.

BACKGROUND

Please describe your organization.

Front Door Delivery Inc. provides on-demand delivery for clients. Our target market includes mothers who need formula for their babies while they're at home, people who may be embarrassed to buy a specific item at the store, and so on. Our app employs an Uber-like mechanic, utilizing people who want to supplement their income by delivering orders.

What is your position?

I am the founder and the Chief Executive Officer of the company.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What business challenge were you trying to address with Creative360?

We needed to build an iOS application for our company.

SOLUTION

Please describe the scope of their involvement in greater detail.

Creative360 has developed our application, doing an excellent job.

How did you come to work with Creative360?

We did some research, met with a few people and got a good vibe from Creative360's team. They seemed to be a good fit, so we selected them.

Could you provide a sense of the size of this initiative in financial terms?

The total development cost with Creative360 is estimated to be above $100,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

The development is underway in terms of functionality. We're reaching the final phases, after which there will be a debugging and tweaking process. There are many details to coordinate, but we plan to launch the app in September 2016.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Could you share any statistics or metrics from this engagement?

Creative360 has helped with our app's development and asked many pertinent questions. Everything we talked about was implemented and they've moved ahead of schedule. I have no complaints.

We have no feed-back for the app at this point.

How did Creative360 perform from a project management standpoint?

Creative360 set a schedule based on the goals we discussed, taking into consideration the financial impact of each decision. Creative360 has actually beaten that schedule and our follow-ups have been great. Creative360 came to us, instead of letting our team chase them around.

What distinguishes Creative360 from other providers?

Creative360 is above and beyond as far as developers go. They've been engaged in the process and we could tell they actually cared. Creative360 has also been honest with us, which was important.

Is there anything Creative360 could have improved or done differently?

We'll find that out when we start testing the app, but Creative360 has been great so far.

Creative360 delivered a successful app with positive feedback and minimal issues. The team was flexible with changes and provided feedback on issues during the process. Creative360 has been contracted again for Android app development.

BACKGROUND

Please describe your organization.

We provide a mobile platform that acts as a marketplace in which donors can find and engage with local charities and organizations.

What is your position?

I am the cofounder and managing director of the company.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What business challenge were you trying to address with Creative360?

We needed a development company that could build our company's platform.

SOLUTION

Please describe the scope of their involvement in detail.

They developed our app for iOS. It acted as a minimum viable product for our idea. Our intention is to build an Android version as well and to create two distinct client-facing experiences: one for donors and another for charities. Our other two apps are also planned for Android and iOS.

We came to Creative360 with a good idea of what we wanted our app to feature. We knew how our business model would work and how it could be captured within a mobile application. Some of the core features required were geolocation and a tracker feed that would populate our app with social media content. They were able to develop these aspects successfully.

A big part of our presence within the market is the simplicity of creating content and accessing it. Creative360 was instrumental in facilitating that user experience within the application. Payment processing was another core feature for the app.

Within our collaboration, we primarily interacted with our assigned project manager.

How did you come to work with Creative360?

We had a difficult research process. We asked for references from acquaintances and reached out to industry professionals and people who'd contracted development companies in the past. We came to work with Creative360 through an offer we posted on the WeWork community. I requested help in building a blueprint for the application. We reviewed other companies as well.

Could you provide a sense of the size of this initiative in financial terms?

The development work had a cost of $20,000 to $25,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our app was completed at the beginning of January 2016. It was approved on the Apple App Store in February. Creative360 was involved in the process for incorporating it into the App Store. We plan to use their team for developing the Android version of our app in the future.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Could you share any statistics or metrics from this engagement?

We haven't had a public launch yet because of a need for strategic partnerships to be put in place. We also haven't finished a crucial part of the platform, involving the processing of donations. This has to be completely sound from a tax and legal standpoint.

The initial feedback from the 10 to 20 people who are currently using it is that there aren't many bugs or crashes. We're satisfied with the quality of the product.

How did Creative360 perform from a project management standpoint?

When building any product of this nature, there will always be change orders and unexpected occurrences. They were very upfront and forthcoming about any changes. I had a feeling of honesty on their part when faced with unforeseeable things. Creative360 went through a lot of work in order to put together the specs for the app. They came in very close to budget.

We used Basecamp for project tracking at Creative360's recommendation. We hadn't had experience with the tool prior to our collaboration. We found it to be helpful for sharing documents and general communication, although it wasn't critical for our success.

What distinguishes Creative360 from other providers?

The involvement of Creative360's CEO [Shiv Kapoor] demonstrated that he took real pride and responsibility in the work they were doing. This bled through into the final product. Although we could have looked outside of the United States for better options cost-wise, Creative360 delivered fully on our expectations.

The proposal process itself for a project like this can create alarming fear for what you will receive in the end. We received quotes ranging from $1,000 to $100,000 for the same requirements. It was a scary swing in budget, and I'm happy that our collaboration with Creative360 turned out so well.

Is there anything Creative360 could have improved or done differently?

No.

Creative 360 contributed to a successful, well-reviewed, and aesthetically pleasing app. The client praised the agency for their excellent performance and strategic planning. There was no criticism for Creative 360 and the agency is recommended to others.

BACKGROUND

Please describe your organization.

Fototwics is a real-time micro blogging platform for photos. Users can capture, discover, and share life's beautiful moments as they happen, in a fun and easy way.

What is your role at the company?

I am the CTO at Fototwics.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What business challenge were you trying to address with Creative360?

We were trying to develop an application that would allow users to share visual stories through Fototwics and reshare photos of people who they follow with their own followers. In short, we wanted to build a micro-blogging platform for photos.

We saw a big potential in creating an application that would let users share pictures in a similar way that Twitter allowed you to share short messages – now, it lets you share pictures, too – but back then, this was not in the market.

SOLUTION

Please describe the scope of their involvement in detail.

We wanted to build a Twitter sort of tool for photos. They helped us scope out the requirements, create the concept and features and, of course, design and develop the Fototwics app.

How did you come to work with Creative360?

We met with various development firms. However, Creative360 was one of the few that implemented the design first and showed us the difference their company brought to the table.

Could you provide a sense of the size of this initiative in financial terms?

The project took about six months to complete. The dollar amount was about $75,000.

When was the project completed?

It was around the end of 2014.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Could you share any statistics or metrics from this engagement?

The Fototwics application that Creative360 produced was beautiful and loved by everyone on our team. It was easy to use and visually attractive. Fototwics was reviewed by Engadget as a well-thought-out app.

They performed exceptionally well. Their team of entrepreneurs knows what does and doesn't work, and they guided us through every phase of the development. They were strategic in planning the product as well as bringing it to life.

You will never make the best product in one take, always start with an MVP [minimum viable product] and iterate based on market feedback.

What distinguishes Creative360 from other providers?

They are very design-oriented, and they built an interactive design-based prototype before we headed into development. This was helpful because we could test, feel, and see the product before we went ahead with the development. We got our money's worth.

We were trying to develop an application that would facilitate the quick sharing of events among other social networks. We saw a big potential in creating an application that would let users create, find, and share nearby events through the app as well as social platforms

SOLUTION

Please describe the scope of their involvement in detail.

We came to Creative360 with the idea only. The scope was basically, "Help us come up with this application." They helped with determining requirements, prioritizing features, and ultimately design and development.

How did you come to work with Creative360?

We searched different online platforms for design and development firms. Creative360 was recommended to us by people we trusted, so we decided to go with them, and we don't regret it.

Creative 360 delivered high quality work and contributed to a successful new website which has improved the client’s business. The agency was recognized for their excellent communication. The client highly recommends Creative 360 to others.

BACKGROUND

Please describe your organization.

We’re a full-service travel agency located in Manhattan, in New York City.

What is your position?

I’m the owner of the company.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What business challenge were you trying to address with Creative 360?

I needed to have my website redone. It was very old and unusable, so I needed a total revamp of the website; a different look and different functionality.

SOLUTION

Please describe the scope of their involvement in greater detail.

They were involved in website design and Search Engine Optimization [SEO] for my website.  It was definitely something important that was needed.

How did you come to work with Creative 360?

We share the same company workspace. I put an ad on the internal network, and I got several responses. After reaching out to the managing partner, we spoke, and he was very persuasive; he felt confident that he could give me the solution that I was looking for. So I was interested in working with them.

Could you provide a sense of the size of this initiative in financial terms?

It’s in the lower six figures.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in April or May of this year [2015], and the relationship is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Could you share any statistics or metrics from this engagement?

The website is very nicely done, and I’m very satisfied with the design. We’re still working on some of the other features. To me, it’s already changed the way I do business. In terms of the work I needed them to do, Creative360 were very good.

A lot of times, they have to rely on the client to get back to them before they can make things happen. If they need input from me, they let me know so I can keep on track. They were pretty good at that. They were also good at making it easy to submit comments. They have a system where you can make changes, suggestions, or comments, and then someone would review it and know what you need done.

What distinguishes Creative 360 from other providers?

I worked mainly with Shiv, and I thought he was really good at communicating, getting the vision that I wanted, and then translating that to the rest of the staff. They were able to interpret that into what I would want to see done on my website, which for me, is very important because I’m not very technical.

There has to be a person that can communicate with someone who doesn’t know any technical talk. There’s a lot I don’t know, but I have an idea of what I want, so I need someone able to hear what I’m saying and give me recommendations because in the end,  they’re the experts.

Is there anything Creative 360 could have improved or done differently?

If you’re not familiar with programming or getting a website done, it’s really hard to assess cost. I’m still not sure if I paid too much for my website. I think it would have been best if they had explained all the components in the billing, so I would better know how to evaluate the cost.
