Please describe your company and your position there.
I’m the founder of a startup clothing company.
For what projects/services did your company hire Creative Repute®, LLC?
Creative Repute provided aspects of design and brand development for a startup clothing company.
Their work included logo design, packaging, a photoshoot, a style guide, Wordpress website development, and brochure designs.
The process involved implementing a consistent color scheme, fonts, and the new logo on all marketing materials useful to the clothing company. They continue to provide SEO services on an ongoing basis.
What were your goals for this project?
I needed help with brand consistency. I wanted consumers to be able to recognize who we were by using the same fonts, colors, and logo on all of our marketing materials. I wanted me and my team to feel proud of our brand and for us to have a professional appearance.
How did you select this vendor?
One of my friends worked with them and recommended them to me. I needed an agency that could handle all aspects of design. We spoke with other agencies but I like Creative Repute’s style.
I looked through their portfolio, social media, client list, and price list. Then, I filled out the intake form on their website and the Administrative Assistant emailed me to schedule a time to speak with me over the phone. It seemed like they could meet our needs.
Describe the scope of their work in detail.
Creative Repute helped to give our brand a foundation with our new logo and style guide. Their team also mocked up designs for the packaging of our clothing items, brochures that we can hand out at networking events, and the company website for e-commerce.
What was the team composition?
I was in touch with the Administrative Assistant first and she conducted an initial phone interview with us to learn more about our needs.
Then I went back and forth with her and the founder through email. After I signed their contract and paid the invoice I was connected to the project manager who is also the creative lead.
Through her we worked with a copywriter, graphic design team and website development team. They likely have about 9-10 people working in the background.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
I’m happy with the Creative Repute team because the projects are all done well. They’ve been able to accommodate all of my wants.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Work flowed smoothly because the project manager checked in with me and sent a message or email update each day. They always answer my emails in a reasonable time, even if it’s just to confirm that it was received.
They are always considerate. Because we speak each day, I’m not as stressed as I felt initially. Deadlines are met and communication is clear.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
I appreciate their teamwork, integrity, and reliability.
Are there any areas for improvement?
Not that I can think of. They’re really a great business with good people.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I run a photography business based out of New Jersey where I create highly impactful and visually compelling portrait images for individuals not only here, but across the tristate area.
For what projects/services did your company hire Creative Repute®, LLC?
I wanted to take the next step forward into my business and focus on my brand. The first thing I thought of was a logo design that was necessary for my website and business cards that was tailored to my aesthetic.
What were your goals for this project?
I needed something simplistic, yet visually pleasing to the eye that encapsulated the aesthetic of what I try to portray within my photography work.
How did you select this vendor?
I've worked with the founder of Creative Repute, Nile, numerous times documenting her art practice. I learned more and more about her human and the company she founded, and when I decided to take the next step into making my business more of a business I came straight to Nile. Her calm demeanor and level of creativity played a huge factor to me choosing Creative Repute to create my logo design.
Describe the project in detail.
The process started with a creative briefing that served as a guideline and source of inspiration for Creative Repute to figure out what I was looking for. The briefing consisted of various questions that asked about what I wanted done for the logo and questions that related to my business and how the work I do influences others. They spent a great deal of time heeding my words trying to learn more about not only my business, me as a human being. Within short time I received the first iterations of the logo design where I gave my feedback about what had been produced for me which helped guided the direction of my branding moving forward. Creative Repute followed up very timely with an updated presentation of what I liked from the first iterations and sent out updated logos mocked into my photographs so I can see how they looked. From there I figured out what I liked best and chose the design that I thought fit what I was looking for.
What was the team composition?
I worked directly with Nile, the founder of Creative Repute which made the process very intimate.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
I immediately started utilizing the logo for my website and business cards and I've received high remarks on them so far. People recognize me more and this is huge for me because building my brand identity is important and I want people to remember who I am. I can definitely see daily growth in my insights on the engagement for my updated website!
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
I received updates via email on a daily basis on the production of the design with updated presentations of the logo towards the end. If there was anything that I didn't see fit, it would be altered to my liking until I found it fit the vision perfectly.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
I loved just how much of a listener they are at wanting to learn more about the human behind the company. That's what stands out the most - which makes the experience very meaningful. You can tell that they understand people and that makes Creative Repute a company full of substance.
Are there any areas for improvement?
I had no complaints whatsoever!

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder of Maverick Suits, a tailored suit company. I strictly focus on tailored suits, but I’ve always been an entrepreneur type.
What challenge were you trying to address with Creative Repute®, LLC?
I hired to help create my brand. I had a business license, so I brought them on to design my logo.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We did a phone interview, and they got an idea of my design thinking for the brand, color scheme, and logo. They developed four design options, and I picked my favorite. I plan on having them design my website when I’m farther along in starting the business. They also did my business card design.
What is the team composition?
I worked with Nile (Founder and CEO, Creative Repute®, LLC) and Anna (Administrative Assistant, Creative Repute®, LLC).
How did you come to work with Creative Repute®, LLC?
I was researching graphic design firms in Philadelphia and New York, and Creative Repute® was one of them. My brother, who’s in the IT sector, referred them to me from his research. I liked their online portfolio, and Nile was included in the whole onboarding process. I also liked that they were a small firm.
How much have you invested with them?
I spent $1500 with them.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together during May 2019.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I showed my friend circle the four options and they liked all of them, but the one I chose really stood out.
How did Creative Repute®, LLC perform from a project management standpoint?
They couldn’t have been better. Nile was involved throughout the process, and after we finished she gave me a card with a handwritten note. I thought it was a personal touch. We started over the phone for the design conversation and continued over email.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re a great firm and did an excellent job on the project. They got it done in a timely manner, which I appreciated because I was very busy.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They took care of everything I expected them to.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be open about it and don’t hold back any questions you have because Creative Repute® can only work on as much of your idea as you give them. I was torn on two designs of the four, and I asked them if they could combine them into another design, and they did. I ended up going with one of the originals, but they still helped me out.
