Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner of PDG Building Consultants in New York City. We get approvals for developers or contractors looking to build in the city.
What challenge were you trying to address with Creative Marketing Engine?
A few of our larger clients were skeptical of using us because we didn’t have a website or anything to show our establishment online. I hired Creative Marketing Engine to develop a site for us.
What was the scope of their involvement?
To start, Leah (Founder, Creative Marketing Engine) gave me an online questionnaire so we could convey exactly what we were looking for. She then built the website for me and implemented all of the features I required. Some of these features included a contact page and easy-to-navigate, informative pages. Leah currently maintains the website and gives us reports on it.
What is the team composition?
Leah was my only point of contact.
How did you come to work with Creative Marketing Engine?
I met them through LinkedIn. After looking at some of their websites, we did a consultation so they’d understand what I’m looking for and we went from there.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent under $5,000 on the project.
What is the status of this engagement?
The main development was done between January–April 2019 but Leah still maintains the platform.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
People have given us great feedback on the website and appreciate it when they’re using it. Additionally, a client I had lost before I started this engagement decided to give us their business after seeing our website, which I definitely attribute to Creative Marketing Engine’s work.
How did Creative Marketing Engine perform from a project management standpoint?
Leah was great and communicative. She kept to our timelines and delivered according to the requirements. Throughout the process, we had web conferences to share screens and see her progress. Every month, Leah provides us with a report on how the site is doing.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Working with Creative Marketing Engine was one of the best experiences I’ve had with any company. They really stuck to their promises during the development, which was great. Everything they’ve done works well for me. Working with Leah was a pleasure.
Are there any areas they could improve?
For me, they did everything they promised so I don’t have anything for them to improve on.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner of an accounting firm.
What challenge were you trying to address with Creative Marketing Engine?
I hired them to create a lead magnet and a follow-up email series.
What was the scope of their involvement?
First, they developed our landing page and wrote the copy for the lead magnet using WordPress. Then they wrote a five-part email sequence. Users receive the first email after signing up with the lead magnet. Then a few days later, they will receive the other emails. They were able to implement this with MailChimp.
What is the team composition?
I worked with Leah (Web Designer & Marketer, Creative Marketing Engine).
How did you come to work with Creative Marketing Engine?
Somehow, I connected with Leah on LinkedIn.
How much have you invested with them?
I spent about $1,500.
What is the status of this engagement?
The project lasted a few weeks in August 2019.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They’ve helped me build up my email list from nothing. Now I have 30–40 subscribers and a call with a potential client this week.
How did Creative Marketing Engine perform from a project management standpoint?
They marked deadlines on Google Calendar, so I knew when stuff was due. We communicated via email and had a few Zoom sessions.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They were super responsive and were on top of everything. When I sent edits, they replied with comments right away. They’re more responsive than any other contractor I’ve worked with. Highly organized, they understand how important project management is to meet my goals.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Not really, we’ve had a really good experience.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
This applies for anyone you work with—be responsive to their questions, their process, and everything will be done on time. If you don’t, you’ll hold up timelines and frustrate your partners.
