Animated Video Production for Kite Retailer
“They’re a really talented team that is good to work with.”

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of Blade Kiteboarding, a kiteboarding equipment retailer.
What challenge were you trying to address with Clutch Creative House?
We needed someone to create videos to put on our website and online.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Clutch Creative House made animated videos for us to market our new line of kites every year.
What is the team composition?
There are around eight people.
How did you come to work with Clutch Creative House?
I heard good things about them, and they were next door to us. We chatted and had a good connection.
How much have you invested with them?
My company has spent $200,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in June 2010. We don’t work on an ongoing basis; we just use them when we need to work on a video.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
It’s been really good working with them. The video they produced put us far above anything else we’ve done before. They helped us get many new dealers from around the world because the video put us on par with all of the big-name brands out there. We were able to compete with the big names, and that was a big deal for us. People talk about the video and say it’s amazing.
How did Clutch Creative House perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re serious about their work, but they’re also very fun to work with. They’re flexible. If we don’t like something, they’ll start over and go another route. They have a good attitude about it. They’re a really talented team that is good to work with.
They always deliver ahead of time. Communication is good. We use email and WhatsApp. It’s always very quick; we never have to wait longer than a few hours to get answers.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re talented, with no ego.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There’s nothing I’d change. It’s very fun to work with them. I’d be happy to work with them in other fields.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Know what it is you want. This doesn’t mean you have to know exactly how the video will be, but have an idea of what you want.

UI Update & Marketing for E-Commerce Platform

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of Ecom Lab, an e-commerce platform.
What challenge were you trying to address with Clutch Creative House?
I tried to recruit a UX designer in-house and I wasn’t able to get anyone good enough. Instead, I turned to Clutch Creative House to outsource some of our work.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We have multiple projects with them, mostly involving e-commerce work. The biggest project involved helping us create a newer UI. From conception, they created a new B2C e-commerce website. This included everything from UI down to mobile device optimization, while working with creatives within the website.
Later on, they also helped us with the creative work for a marketing campaign. After that, I involved them in a few B2B projects with the same company. They were also responsible for a few very big campaigns we did in Europe doing online and relating television and online. They didn’t do the television but they did do all the conception of the campaigns and art of the campaigns working very closely with my art team
What is the team composition?
We would work with one point of contact who led the project. We were able to interact with the designers and developers as well. There are between 1-4 people we interact with.
How did you come to work with Clutch Creative House?
I was looking for good websites and one of those websites was for a company in Israel and I saw that Clutch Creative House made the design and I contacted them.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent €150,000–€200,000 (approximately $165,000–$220,000 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in February 2015 and the work is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Without working with them, I wouldn’t have a responsive and mobile-friendly app and would lose a lot of money. The web today is responsible for about 40–50% of income. They are part of a multi-million-euro project. I’m very happy with their work. I work with multiple websites and have referred them to other companies.
Their head of design was leading the development with us. He’s very profound and accurate. He has a lot of knowledge and know-how. He’s very experienced in UX/UI and customer behavior. His insight was super important for us in many places where we weren’t really sure.
They started with helping us make decisions regarding process management, timelines, and deliverables.
How did Clutch Creative House perform from a project management standpoint?
Project management is very good. We’re a very hard customer. They do whatever it takes to deliver on time and are committed to the project. I warned them beforehand that we need very special care. We have very good communication and they respond very well to us.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re committed and profound. They deliver on time no matter what they need to do to make it happen. They’re super professional. Part of their professionalism is to make sure you get what you want on time with no questions asked. If the contract says they need to give me 100 hours and if they need to put the extra 10-20%, they will do it for us. They felt like they were part of our team.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They could improve their prices but they are worth the cost. I don’t have anything negative to say about them.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Come openminded and listen to them. They are professionals. Sometimes you come with your own concept and if you trust them, you should listen to them. You don’t have to agree but at least be openminded. They’re not only artists but have very strong commercial thinking.

Web Design & Branding for Cannabis Startup
“I’ve worked with other web developers, and I picked Yuval again because I love working with him.”
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the marketing manager at Gemmacert, a startup in the cannabis industry.
What challenge were you trying to address with Clutch Creative House?
The first website was used to find investors. When we started to sell devices, we needed a new website that could reach customers. The cannabis industry is a bit old-fashioned in the way people are trying to connect with customers, so the challenge in my eyes was to bring some innovation to the company and the cannabis industry. We wanted a website that would explain to customers what they could get from the device.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Clutch Creative House developed a new website from scratch to help us reach customers in a new way. They also built our business identity; usually, companies that build your website get the business identity from the company itself; in this case, it was the opposite. We took the graphics from the site and expanded the design to other places.
What is the team composition?
Yuval (CEO) is the leader. I’ve worked with Maayan (UX/UI Designer).
How did you come to work with Clutch Creative House?
I knew Yuval and his company from before my work at Gemmacert. This isn’t the first website I’ve built with him.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent 100,000 Israeli New Shekels (approximately $28,400 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
Gemmacert started working together in August 2019, and it is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our old website had hundreds of users each month. Now, we are reaching 8,000 users a month. The best reviews are from other competitors in the industry; they say the site is amazing and looks wonderful. The site also looks good on mobile, which is how most of our customers access the site. We have a doctor who took a university class, and she presented our website to the class. Everybody said it was a good one.
How did Clutch Creative House perform from a project management standpoint?
They know how to work with deadlines.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Yuval doesn’t know the word no. He will think about it and come up with ways it can be done. He’s a man of his word. He’s committed to what he says. I can rely on him.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I’ve worked with other web developers, and I picked Yuval again because I love working with him.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Dream big and say whatever you want. Give a reasonable budget. It’s easier if you share with them what you like on other websites.

Infographics for Cybersecurity Company
"Their ability to understand our concept and translate it into a visually-interesting graphic was impressive."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I manage a technical documentation team at a network security company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Clutch Creative House?
In the beginning, we were trying to do something that was beyond technical documentation health. We have a lot of text-based content, but not a lot of great visuals explaining technical concepts.
We brought in Clutch Creative House to help us conceptualize and use more images, as well as drive content to our technical writing.
What was the scope of their involvement?
The team created infographics. They conceptualized and created collateral for us to use on our website. We would come up with a concept and pitch it to them, and they would come back with mock-ups.
From there, we tweaked their work and revised the text as needed and made sure that internally it was approved. They then delivered the final products.
What is the team composition?
We worked with five different people over the course of the project. Generally, we worked with 1–2 teammates per project.
How did you come to work with Clutch Creative House?
Someone on our marketing team who had worked with Clutch Creative House referred us to them. They had produced a successful video for that company and she spoke very highly of the team and their ability to execute very quickly.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent under $1,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
For this initial project, we worked together from July–September 2015. We have a few upcoming projects that we’ll probably work with them on.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We have a portal where all of our customers can find the content. We host all of the infographics there and we’ve also been able to use them within blog posts that circle back to our content.
Their work was very beneficial because we’ve been able to reuse the content over and over for different applications such as in blog posts or as stand-alone assets. The cost we paid was really low compared to the value that we got.
The team was incredibly flexible and creative, and the designs they created really hit the nail on the head. They were able to strike a balance between being visually-interesting and not being too cartoonish, which was important for us. Their visuals always captured diversity and played really well with our concepts and content.
How did Clutch Creative House perform from a project management standpoint?
Clutch Creative House was always very communicative. It was challenging with the different schedules, but they were responsive. We were able to meet our deadlines.
If we had a rush on a project, we were able to communicate that to them, and they were able to adapt their schedule to meet our needs. We communicated mostly via email. When we had more complex infographic projects, it helped to talk with them over the phone.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their graphic design skills were incredibly strong, and their ability to understand our concept and translate it into a visually-interesting graphic was impressive.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I don’t have any suggestions. We only had issues with different schedules. They were always responsive and delivered high-quality work.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Make sure you have a clear idea before you present it to Clutch Creative House. They can go in so many different directions, so this is important especially if you’re working within a deadline. It also allows them to be more creative in their delivery.

Animation Services for Dog Media Company
“They’re not just doers — they’re thinkers and creators.”
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder and the chief content officer of DogTV. We create television content for dogs around the US.
What challenge were you trying to address with Clutch Creative House?
I’m always looking to create cool content for dogs. It’s a bit of a challenge because they don’t see or hear in the same way that humans do. After a lot of research, I realized that they’re sensitive to motion, so I decided to create some animated videos on top of what I was already shooting with live-action pets.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Clutch Creative House created the first animated videos for dogs (and people). When we were initially putting together our DogTV act, they designed an animated dog for us. This involved coming up with a few sketches that we could choose from before creating the motion graphics and sending us the file.
From there, we dove into a larger project. They used the research I sent them to really explore what exactly dogs could see, and we brainstormed together. Based on their studies, they came up with some video concepts and styles that would appeal to dogs — things like bouncing balls, moving lasers, and dog bones raining from the sky.
We decided on about 12 animations per hour, each short being about 5 minutes long to match the average dog’s attention span. They presented a few storyboards for 3D animations, created the videos in After Effects, and delivered them. We’ve been working with them ever since.
What is the team composition?
I mostly speak with Ben (Co-Founder) and Yuval (Co-Founder), but they have a team of animators and After Effects specialists working behind the scenes. I’ve also interacted with the video director occasionally.
How did you come to work with Clutch Creative House?
Back when we were still based in Israel, I was looking for an animation house that would be willing to work with me on this project. There were other agencies that I’d collaborated with before, but it’s not really about the talent but rather the people you work with and the creative process.
I knew Ben and had heard of his work, which meant that we had a good connection on both a personal and professional level. I knew that his team would be willing to bring more to the table beyond my initial ideas. That makes us equal in the engagement.
How much have you invested with them?
Our very first animation project was about $5,000, but we’ve spent more with them since then.
What is the status of this engagement?
This project was between December 2011–February 2012. We’re still working with them today on more complex videos like people content and promos.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
It’s hard to give accurate viewer ratings when your viewers are dogs, but we do have plenty of people sending us videos of their dogs watching our content. We’ve received about 5,000 videos at this point, which is always helpful to gauge what dogs are into.
Actually, after we created the animations, we did a scientific study at Tufts University that tested our content with dogs in 38 departments. The dogs weren’t so happy with any of the cat content, so we removed that. But, they enjoyed our other animations so much that we put in an order for additional videos.
How did Clutch Creative House perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re very conscious of our budget because we’re not a big company. If we find that we want something that's a little out of our price range, they’re good about giving us alternative solutions that fit the bill. They’re always happy to have that conversation.
On the creative side, we have a set process where we get together to brainstorm different ideas before reviewing their presentation or storyboards. It’s easy to give feedback on everything, and they get back to us whenever we have questions or want changes. It’s a comfortable back-and-forth.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I love working with them because of the human connection. Unlike your average production house that will only do what they’re told, we work together to figure out what sticks and what doesn’t.
They’re not just doers — they’re thinkers and creators. It’s a creative collaboration, but a lot of those ideas come from their team. They can think of 100 ideas that we’ve never even thought of, and that’s very rare.
Are there any areas they could improve?
When we switched over to the US market, we had to adjust to the audience here by finding a more Americanized tone. We considered hiring an American firm to take over the project, but Clutch Creative House was able to make those adjustments, including finding an American writer and talent. That just speaks to their adaptability.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Loosen up a bit and let them take the lead. Their team has a lot of experience and know what they’re doing. You should also put in the effort to connect with them and be personal. Take them out for a drink if you can. Building that bond can be invaluable.
