My company created a product that is a virtual workspace software which helps companies, employees and teams work together just like in a real office space and can collaborate in real-time via audio/video/chat conferencing with rooms and floors designed just like an office space.

Website performance improvement, SEO performance improvements.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Through WeWork Community. CreateBytes had a great track record in helping companies scale and also has out-of-the-box solutions for problems that are specific to the industries.

Our engagement began with an audit of the Website, SEO performance and Organic Traffic and thereby discovering the key issues that our website and SEO strategy had. We engaged by starting to work on it as two divisions. One for the website SEO and one for the Website Speed and performance. It was great to have CreateBytes's expert team worked along with us in each and every aspect of the project.

Meanwhile, with SEO, plans were laid out in the following manner:

1. Increased number of keywords
2. Social bookmarking
3. SEO Benefitted Blogs
4. Improve the previously published blogs on the website
5. FAQ Schemas
6. Added more starting pages for the Website.
7. Created separate landing pages for marketing

3 People worked with our team. Their positions were SEO Expert, Content Writer, and Growth Hacker.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

By the end of the first month, our website went from a 35 on desktop speed on the Lighthouse page speed analytics to 96, while the mobile went from 8 to 71. Organic Keywords count went from 200 to 300+ Organic Search Impressions shot up double Organic Clicks increased

Slack was the main mode of communication along with our team's proprietary Video Call and Audio call applications. The team was great at communication and the turnaround time was really quick.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The knowledge and expertise of the team that was allotted to us. The dedication and willingness to help and educate the team on certain aspects of the project were outstanding.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing at the moment. Will be able to update this once the project is over.

I am an SEO manager at khatabook overseeing the overall organic growth of the website. At Khatabook, we’re building utility solutions for the nation’s 6.3 crore-strong MSME sector. Our first offering – an Android App enabling businesses to digitally record the credit they extend to customers – went viral and so far Khatabook has been downloaded over 5 Crore+ times. At Khatabook we hired CreateBytes to help us with the design and development of our website that is SEO optimised as well.

CreateBytes’ team of developers was already working with us on one of our mobile application development projects. After seeing their experience and dedication towards the work we decided to leverage their services for our Khatabook Website project as well.

The Scope of Work included the following steps:

1. Website Design which rendered an effortless UX and was responsive in nature as well.
2. Frontend Development: ReactJS/ NextJS developers were to be deployed to work on UI Development and API integration.
3. Backend Development: Python Django based backend development along with the Admin panel features to help build the dynamic pages of the website.
4. SEO related tasks: Development features needed to be added in a manner that would make the entire website SEO optimised and Admin- friendly in nature.

2 UI UX designers and 8 frontend plus backend developers along with 1 Cloud Engineer were deployed on the project.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Entire website was built in a robust manner wherein continuous feedbacks were taken from our end to deliver the project on time. A dedicated team along with an elite project manager made the entire project delivery swift in nature.

Communication over Slack and Atlassian Jira are being utilised for a scrum based project. Weekly sprint planning is done in advance by the Project Manager to make the sprint deliverables effective in nature.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their dedication towards the project and their ability to find the solution is what impresses me the most. They have proposed a method where they label the entire software building process from DR1 - DR17 where in DR1 is the step 1 and DR 17 stands for the final delivery covered as per the SDSS prepared.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Not that I can think of as of now.

We are a startup created last June in San Francisco, California, our positioning is to allow micro/small and medium-sized businesses to grow, sell, recruit and promote themselves for free or at very low cost

Createbytes works with us in the development of the first version of our platform and has helped us in the very complex aspects of managing large volumes of data and integrating a scalable system. We use the latest technology with them to manage our complex environment in the potential number of requests, users and features of the site.

We chose them because createbytes brings together all the skills and experts that were needed for our complex project, including very strong design, complex database and development skills. During our first contacts we were reassured about all their skills, their advice and pedagogy to explain the type of solution we could implement with them

We divided the project into several phases according to features and user types. We carry out regular test phases and we progressively give feedback. In terms of technology we work mainly in NODEJS and REACTJS

The design and the features correspond to our expectations, We should complete in the next months the development of the platform by other features

We are in daily discussion with the teams and have a project manager as interlocutor but we can discuss directly with the database or design specialist, .... We use Slack, JIRA

thier technical skills are impressive, their pedagogy too, they take the time to explain us the technical aspects as well as their commitment to create with us the best product

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I think that sometimes they are too technically oriented and need to have a more user friendly look which I think would have eliminated many minor bugs

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the co-founder of Seekwiser, a data aggregation platform for the global market. We’re highly vested in AI and machine learning. 

What challenge were you trying to address with CreateBytes?

We had trouble finding relevant talent in the local market. People promise but they don’t deliver. We had a lot of work involved in natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning. Our team hired a few engineers, but we didn’t get good results.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We were working on some of the core concepts of our engine. One part involved processing our contextual data understanding through the use of NLP. In that, we had to develop a system where the machine can read and understand the meaning of the sentence.

The first step was to understand the meaning of the sentence and the second was the smart opinion where the system was able to read, understand, and summarize the entire page, article, or journal. The system was able to summarize itself. These are the two main components for which we hired CreateBytes to develop the programming for it.

Initially, we weren’t able to find the right talent. They were all doing some sort of weird job because it wasn’t doing the right thing. The systems wouldn’t understand what it was reading. When we hired CreateBytes, they developed the programming for us where it understood the systems. It understood the text it was reading.

We had them working on our web interface as well. Our website wasn’t very good, and there were a lot of bugs. CreateBytes redid our website. Now, they continue to help us with changes.

There are seven people involved.

How did you come to work with CreateBytes?

We have a network of people who are very tech-savvy. Our team started contacting all of them. We went by how the company responded to us. When we sent out the request to 3–4 different companies, CreateBytes came back to us the fastest.

They initiated the discussions. Their team deployed the right kind of people who understood what we wanted. When we had our first discussion, I explained what I wanted, and they understood.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested $8,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in February 2020, and the work is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We not only got the results but we were overwhelmed by the results. Whatever we wanted to be done, they understood us right away and performed what was needed. I’m very satisfied with them. We have a very good relationship.

They helped us a lot in order to design and integrate the entire design mechanism and the entire coding into our system. It was able to summarize the entire content with approximately 85% accuracy and above in less than 250 words.

How did CreateBytes perform from a project management standpoint?

Whatever timeline we initially discussed, they delivered ahead of time. If there was any confusion with the scope of the work, we’d get back on the drawing board and discuss it in detail. If there are no alterations, then 99% of the time, we delivered ahead of time. We’re regularly in touch with them. They always entertain our calls for changes with a lot of respect and help us when we need it.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their professional approach is something I admire. They don’t like to waste time on some out-of-context box. We only meet to discuss point-to-point. We understand what’s needed and the deliverables — that’s all. I enjoy working with them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

If we need to get an updated contract with them, that’s the point where I get a little worried because I think they need to grow themselves more. They’re a fairly new company. With the amount of work they’re doing, they surely will grow, but at this stage, I wouldn’t give them a job that’s more than $25,000.

I feel if I go in too deep with them, they might not understand. I understand finding the right talent and building a team is a big job. It takes time to find the right talent. The talent pool they have is very good and smart.
