CCRM Image

CCRM

We were asked to design a CRM system for recruiting agency to streamline their business processes. New CRM should replace their current spreadsheet and email centered workflow and reduce paperwork.

The solution should cover all the stages of the business process, maintain seamless workflow and provide all the participants with a comprehensive toolkit needed for high-level performance. Working on this project we were

focused on the specific needs of each role. The new system is fully integrated with the corporate office suite which makes it an all-in-one solution for all company employees.

Personal medical assistant app Image

Personal medical assistant app

Medical application is a personalized treatment assistant combined with complete medical history stored in the cloud. The client asked to design an application that allows to:

  • track history of all doctor visits and analysis.
  • receive notifications about treatment course activities and events.
  • track body condition.
  • access contact information of all doctors user has ever
visited.

The mobile application is accompanied by a doctor-side web platform which was done by another team.

Based on user research deliverables I defined main use cases of launching application and structured information accordingly.

For the visual look and feel of the app, we worked tightly with the client and selected a flat minimalistic style with a slight inclination to material design interaction patterns.

G&Quiz Image

G&Quiz

C&Quiz is a web portal created to test the algorithm that analyzes user behavior. The idea is to create an engaging web portal for internal usage by company employees and motivate them to use a portal on a daily basis.

For this purpose, we designed an editorial website and added some gamification elements such as quizzes and score system. Also, we expanded a variety of behavioral signals processed by the algorithm

by allowing users to create content and quizzes.

Drive Monitoring System Image

Drive Monitoring System

We were asked to design an app that monitors the driving skills of a user based on the algorithm developed by the client's team. The app is non-commercial, it’s the main goal is to test algorithm and calibrate it and calibrate it. The app is oriented at users of North America and Japan.

The main challenge was to motivate users to use the tool on a regular basis rather than once — algorithm calibration process requires

constant inputs from regular users.

BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am a partner and co-founder of a business services company based out of San Francisco. We’re a partner-centric consultancy of eight employees that serves clients across the United States. I head up a number of our relationships with clients at the startup stage.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Craftum?

A client asked us to aid in the creation of marketing materials, including the production of app screen mockups for an early-stage, responsive web platform. We sought Craftum's help in developing these mockups.

What were your goals for this project?

We set out to create principle screens of a web platform that conveyed the overall intent and primary features of the product.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

Craftum came highly recommended from a mutual connection, and they’d also previously done work for us that we were very happy with.

Describe the project in detail.

Once engaged with this vendor, we had a few discovery calls to discuss the goals, requirements for final deliverables, and overall timeline. Within the first four days they delivered 25% of the wireframes, and a week later they'd finalized all of them. We then iterated on the final visual design based on the product's branding and look and feel objectives. Final designs were delivered in 2–3 weeks after a few revisions.

What was the team composition?

We worked with a design lead and a supporting designer.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We continuously receive positive feedback on the mockup’s UX and UI from a variety of audiences and test users.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was very effective. Communication with Craftum was easy and occurred on a regular basis via Skype, where we would review progress through screen sharing. We would also communicate via Slack and email when necessary. Craftum went above and beyond what we asked for.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their willingness to be flexible and ability to exceed our expectations stood out to us.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I can’t think of any, and I look forward to working with them again.

The work produced by Craftum so far meets or beats all expectations. The team delivers top-notch design products with a professional look and feel. Excellent communication, close listening, and a systematic approach throughout the project have made for a smooth and productive workflow.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.

BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the owner of MunchBear Technologies. We are an online ordering platform.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Craftum?

We engaged Craftum to design our platform’s look and feel. They are creating wireframes, user flows, and marketing collateral.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

The platform has two verticals: a mobile app for iOS and Android, and a website. The app gives information on each restaurant as well as a reservation feature, a loyalty program, a marketing program. Meanwhile, the site serves as the online ordering front. Each restaurant profile on both verticals comes from an admin page. It takes information—the restaurant name, its menus, and its website link—and builds the profile.

Craftum created the wireframes for each component to allow a third-party developer transcribe their work and bring it to life. They determined the flows and look and feel for each section. They also designed the admin page that pushes profiles and information to the platform’s frontend as it’s inputted.

What is the team composition?

We work with Dmytro (Founder, Craftum) and three other people.

How did you come to work with Craftum?

We found our developer through Upwork, and once we started talking about the project, he recommended Craftum.

How much have you invested with them?

We’re spending $140,000 on the entire project—from design to development. Craftum receives $30,000–$50,000 of that total.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in April 2018, and the project is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Craftum has delivered incredible work so far. The quality of our platform’s look and feel exceeds our competitors. As we see more and more work, we get more and more excited about the platform’s launch. We’re now working on another admin page that will allow us to understand activity on our platform. It will record the number of orders, times set, new information, and other buyer behavior.

How did Craftum perform from a project management standpoint?

Dmytro is an excellent communicator and phenomenal listener. He and his team bring the conversation to my minimal technical understanding. He did an incredible amount of research to guide the project and help me understand the scope, timeline, necessary resources, and flow of communication. Craftum also sends us interactive builds so we can better understand what our product is going to look like.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Detailed and analytical, the team has taken my idea, owned it, and brought it beyond my expectations. These guys never cease to impress me. I want a specific look and feel, and everything they came back with, they were always able to go above and beyond what I expected. Dmytro’s ability to listen and transform every single one of our requirements is incredible, and the results speak to it.

Are there any areas they could improve?

On occasion, our language barrier causes misunderstanding between our teams. Sometimes I would have to get involved two or three times on the same part of a project because of miscommunications. But everything else was great.

Any advice for potential customers?

Tell Dmytro and his team what you’re looking for, let them come up with a design, and don’t interrupt their creative process. You will not be disappointed; these guys know what they’re doing. I will definitely be a customer of Craftum’s for life.
