For DQR Group we recorded a corporate movie from a Pre-launch event hosted in Malta. We have captured live interviews, public speeches and recorded lots of drone footage in Valletta.

Digital Quantitative Research- Corporate movies, series of videos and 3D animations made by Craftoon

For DQR (Digital Quantitative Research), Craftoon prepared a series of corporate videos and explainer animations. DQR is a company working in cryptocurrency industry, so our main challenge was to build trust and legitimacy through the power of videos. The whole production was recorded in Berlin and Malta. In Malta we recorded a pre-launch gala preview, mythbuster series (live camera mixed with 3D animations) and a short

documentary about the CEO of DQR. Beside that, we have created a serie of videos made for press. Such a complex video production is something that we love to do.

For Agora, which is the biggest Polish media corporation, Craftoon did two projects covering a newspaper Gazeta.pl. The product itself was two 3D cartoon animation videos: one - with an aim of raising people’s awareness of the newspaper being available not only on paper but on various digital devices, like laptops and phones; the other – on raising their attention to a TV program inserted brochure

For Archdesk, which is an all-in-one cloud-based management software for companies within the construction industry, Craftoon created a 2D explanatory animation, that would basically provide construction clients a clear understanding of what it is and the needs it satisfies.

For the Vienna City Administration app “Sag’s Wein” Craftoon developed a short 2D animation video explainer that would share all the features of the app with people, tell of its use and purposes. Hence, the video was launched as an internet and public transport campaign aimed at the citizens of Vienna.

Aflofarm - 3D animation commercial

Aflofarm is a №1 pharmaceutical company in Poland on the OTC market. It exports its vide range of products to 30 countries around the world.
Craftoon had a privilege to do a filmed TV commercial video that would represent one of their products - Vedimasan, which is basically a relieving leg gel tube with a special massaging head. The video with a 3D animation ingrained was used on a TV as well as on the very website of

the product.

For Photler, which is a Software as a Service (SaaS) product, Craftoon created a 2D video explainer. The animation’s purpose is to present the product, its main idea, features and possibilities. Considering the fact that the target audience is mostly travelers, we had to steer the video that way so it covers all their main questions.

For the company emeryturka.pl Craftoon created a 2D animation film that would explain people, in the matter of fact Polish emigrants that moved out to Germany, of how with the help of this program it is possible to put aside a small amount of money daily in order to be able to get a lot more back by the time they retire.

For the Eurovision Fanhouse, Craftoon as a Video Marketing Partner created a 2D explanatory animation that would serve simply as a collection of the most fun and memorable facts about the whole Eurovision Song Contest. 

Ministry of the Environment - 3D & 2D educational animation

For Polish Ministry of the Environment, Craftoon prepared an educative animation video aimed at raising forest-awareness of children and inviting them to continue their studies at forest schools. We made sure of a video to be as interactive as possible as well as complying all the needs of our client, which were to raise awareness on forests protection, show the possibilities of attending those schools in different regions and

make the offer decently attractive. Hence, as a result of the views gained, the number of a next-year forest schools attendees slightly increased.

Bizbank - 3D commercial animation

For Biz Bank Craftoon Video Marketing Company made a 3D commercial animation that would represent the bank and promote its last-released attractive offers. As this is a tongue-in-cheek film, putting the crow and showing what would have happed if it sang brings a good juxtaposition of if the bank used the crow in its services. At the end, the text stating that there are no major fees for conducting a business bank account at Biz

Bank, kind of brings up a comparison that there are no “crows” in its service.

For MARTINI “Celebrating 150 Years” campaign Craftoon created two 3D video animations that would represent Martini Asti limited edition bottle. One of the videos was aimed for winter holidays and the other just at any other holiday occasions. The videos and shots were used for TV, Internet and billboards. The end result was to raise up the sales for the company coming up from the promotional campaign

For the project of Microsoft called School in the Cloud, Craftoon created a 2D animation explanatory video that would serve as an internet campaign to perfectly explain to people what is a school in the cloud (a pack of Microsoft documents used at one cloud) and what are its benefits

We communicated instructions, requests, and corrections via Slack, email, and phone. The team responded quickly and was open to discussing our vision, which made the relationship very easy for us.

We didn’t expect them to complete work so quickly. Around the midpoint, we requested several corrections and Craftoon made these changes without complaint. The experience was very satisfying.

I’m a business manager at a silo manufacturer called Silowave. While we serve various markets, we seek to position ourselves mainly within the Russian market.

What challenge were you trying to address with Craftoon?

Because the silo industry lacks a strong marketing and social media footprint, we wanted to distinguish ourselves from our competitors by taking a digital approach. As such, we needed resources to create a series of promotional videos that showed off 3D models of our products. We also wanted corporate videos that showed our clients more about our offices and business.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Using our initial concepts, they covered all aspects of the process, from storyboarding and filming as well as post-production editing and animation. In total, they produced 6–7 videos. For the 3D animations, they created four models, one for each of our products. For the corporate videos, they filmed our largest silo project using a drone and also filmed the interior of our offices. After finishing the project, they offered suggestions on different applications for the videos as well as distribution channels.

We primarily worked with the project manager, art director, and marketing specialist.

One of our colleagues from our industry worked with them to make 3D models. They recommended Craftoon to us.

We spent $200,000–$260,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Their work lasted from July 2017–January 2018. However, we plan on working with them in the upcoming months for a new product launch.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Since launching the videos and marketing our products, we’ve seen a significant rise in user engagement. Before, only 15% of people responded positively to our outreach, but, now, 50% of the people who see our offers contact us. We currently use Craftoon’s 3D animations in our presentations and product briefs. Prospective clients can now watch our video and understand how our products work, which has been immensely helpful.

How did Craftoon perform from a project management standpoint?

They executed the project using an agile approach and communicated every step of the way. Moreover, they met deadlines ahead of time, and their prices were very competitive. If we wanted to implement any small changes, they did it at no additional cost. I also appreciated that they gave us an extra 15 seconds of animated footage.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their technical skill and suggestions have been extremely helpful to us. Despite how difficult it can be to understand our market, Craftoon had a strong grasp of our mission and fulfilled all of our needs. They took the time to educate themselves about our industry, doing competitive research and testing their videos across users with different backgrounds. Above all else, they believed in our mission and adjusted to our industry requirements.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Trust the team and their experiences. And don’t be afraid to communicate your needs, even if you don’t know certain technical terms. They were always happy to explain the process to us, and they gave informed reasons for their production choices. When we didn’t understand the difference between certain cameras, they diligently showed us how the footage would look so that we could make a decision.

Craftoon has a very young, creative crew. It was a good experience for us, and we will work together in the future. 

Their animation showcased our product and was a good advertisement for our clients. The corporate video worked very well for PR and sales. We tracked analytics for internal purposes and determined that the animated video had a positive effect on our company. 

How did Craftoon perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project manager was very focused. They were very helpful, creative, and open-minded about every task or issue. Their communication was very flexible. We could contact them anytime through Slack or Skype.

The best thing about Craftoon is their very creative team. It was very important to us. We need such people when creating video content.

Like every company, they need more people on their team. They have some very good video and content marketing specialists, but will need to expand.
