We’re a coworking space business for startups, freelancers, and entrepreneurs. We mostly place ourselves in the outskirts of Montreal, so instead of being at the city center, many of our places are in downtown Montreal. Our company tries to position ourselves closer to home especially with the COVID-19 pandemic happening.
While we help businesses use our spaces, our team is also focused on communities, networking, and connecting with others. We have three locations right now, and we also have a partner in eastern Montreal, where we’ve recently opened a new space.
What challenge were you trying to address with Courimo?
We hired Courimo to help us with our SEO performance. Specifically, we wanted to be on the first page of Google. Previously, we were on page eight. With this effort, people looking for coworking spaces in Montreal would find us on the internet.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Our plan of action starts with getting keywords that our target audience recognizes. We try to hit those keywords and bump ourselves up that way. Courimo also optimizes our Google My Business page for us to implement our SEO efforts, aiming to get more traction for our website.
For context, our website has been doing decently, but it’s not that attractive. As a result, another company is handling the website. Meanwhile, Courimo is trying their best to boost our reach and SEO numbers based on the website’s quality, and they’ve been in communication with the other company. They’ve also answered our other questions related to the website and worked on our PPC campaigns.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Courimo has truly helped us. In fact, around 80% of inquiries and calls to our business come from Google now — we’re on the first page of search results for coworking spaces. We’ve also seen an increase in general online visibility, especially in the last couple of weeks when people are looking for offices.
How did Courimo perform from a project management standpoint?
Elie has been great in terms of scheduling, and Courimo keeps track of everything they say they’ll do. They also complete projects on time, so we have no complaints about that aspect. To communicate, we meet in person. Anytime we call them for a meeting, they prepare results and analytics that show us how we’re doing.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Courimo is great to communicate with, and they can do things that other companies cannot. For context, I’ve used another company with a five-person team before. That company handled our SEO and website, but we saw no traction on our website, SEO, or social media — nothing was happening.
By contrast, Courimo is great. Elie works with other people for certain things, but he’s essentially a one-man show that produces good results. On top of that, he charges half the price of the five-person team we previously used, and we’re seeing more results with him.

I’m the marketing director of Otodata Tank Monitors, a manufacturer of remote monitors.
What challenge were you trying to address with Courimo?
We needed SEO and PPC services. We were trying to do it internally, but we realized that we needed some external help.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Courimo provides us with SEO and PPC services, and we’ve worked together on our campaigns, targeting the Canadian and the US markets. Initially, we also worked closely together on research for them to understand our industry better. We spent some time discovering our key competitors and the needs of our customers.
After the research phase, we started with SEO campaigns. Over time, we developed a good relationship, so we started launching Google Ads. All the paid campaigns direct the customers to our website, where we have a contact form.
Aside from that, Courimo sends me a report every month that we analyze together, and they take their time to explain everything because we’re not familiar with this space. Additionally, they create written content, and I review it before publishing it.

I’m a plastic surgeon and the president of my plastic surgery clinic.
What challenge were you trying to address with Courimo?
We’re in a competitive market, and we needed to have a strong online presence.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We were just starting out, and I had moved from Vancouver to Montreal. I had a website, but all the SEO that had been done was no longer relevant or applicable.
They came on board to try and optimize our online presence to promote our business. They had recommended starting with Google Ads. They would call me every month and give me the statistics on the calls and the number of clicks we were getting on Google Ads in addition to how we were ranking on certain keywords. It took about a year to get the SEO to where I was appearing in the top three names in searches.
As things got busier, they also tried to come up with things that could improve. We did a little bit of social media management with them for about a year and then my assistant took that over because she went from part-time to full-time. They provided us with a reputation manager who gets all the names and emails of patients who are happy, and she helps to make sure that they leave a positive review both on Google and on RateMDs.com. They also started adding blogs once a month to promote SEO and further our reach.

They’re transparent. They set goals and they tell me what metrics I need to look at in order to say that I have reached my goal. They are also very easy to access. They are never too busy to answer my questions. If we get a bad review, they will be the ones to pick it up. They are on the ball. I’m the VP of Jivago Fragrances, a fragrance house and manufacturer based in Beverly Hills, California. We have over 120 employees worldwide across divisions in the Middle East, Europe, the U.K., the U.S., and South America.
What challenge were you trying to address with Courimo?
We needed a more focused Google AdWords campaign. We’re using another company for social media marketing, but wanted a more sophisticated solution for PPC.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Courimo works together with out other agency to increase our brand's exposure. They run a Google AdWords strategy in different areas so that we can drive traffic through our e-commerce store and make more sales.
We’re currently in the process of completely rebuilding the brand’s website, so we will be running a campaign to drive traffic to that. Cuorimo will work hand-in-hand with us for this so that the rebuild is completely optimized for Google from the beginning.
Our biggest challenge was allotting a big budget toward AdWords. They’ve helped us feel more at ease with this by showing us how it’s going to be a success. They’ve gotten a fair amount of traffic to the site already.

Everything is going well so far. In the past, we’ve spent $500 a month on Google AdWords and it yielded us zero sales. All of our sales came from influencers and social media campaigns. Now, we are starting to see online sales increase.
What’s really interesting is that we’re starting to see a new demographic. The challenge with selling fragrances online is that you can't smell the product before purchasing it, but online sales have gone up regardless thanks to Cuorimo's efforts.

We saw an increase in the demand from our online consumers. We needed Courimo to help capitalize it and increase our online sales. We wanted to focus on paid advertising through Facebook, Instagram, and Google AdWords.

Courimo first conducted a discovery phase to understand our goals and audience. We told them we wanted to increase our current 500 online customers by tenfold. Prior to their involvement, we had no idea what we were doing. Because statistics fluctuate every day in online advertising, Courimo's expertise is critical. Their thorough explanations of our results relative to our spending help us understand how to improve.

Courimo processes everything through a single agent rather than having a giant, inefficient team and taking forever to get back to us.
