End to End Content Marketing for B2B Companies

Content Kite is a full service content marketing service, with a focus on ROI. Our mission is to generate more leads for your business.

We don't just produce blog posts or podcasts.

We create an end-to-end content marketing strategy that is designed to generate more traffic, leads and sales for your business.

We have a heavy focus on data and measurement.

Every post is optimized to convert readers and listeners to the next stage in your funnel (email list, lead, sale etc.).

We think of content marketing as asset creation. Once the evergreen assets are built, they have the ability to generate a consistent flow of leads for your business, passively.

BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I’m the founder of Sure Oak, a content marketing agency that does SEO and link building.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Content Kite?

We hired them to develop our podcast.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to create a podcast to use as a marketing channel to grow our audience and build a strategic network.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

A client of ours recommended them after hearing their podcast. We had a call with them where they took us through their scope of work and their processes and how they envisioned our podcast strategy. We were impressed with their level of detail and, within a month, we were working together.

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

Content Kite was instrumental in creating our podcast. They developed a content strategy, handled guest prospecting, and helped us land marketing experts for the show. They also managed our schedule and topic outlines, produced the show, and promoted it across all of our channels. We decided to bring the project in-house after six months and produce it ourselves, so they helped us create the systems and processes to do that seamlessly.

What was the team composition?

Initially, we worked with the founder, to create the strategy, and then a content producer, who managed podcast production on a weekly basis.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We not only grew our audience and email list in the podcast’s first few months but it’s brought us leads, referrals, and partnership opportunities, whether through guests who come on or audience members. They also saved us hours of work each week; all we had to do was show up for the interview.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They were incredibly easy to work and their workflows made the entire process simple and effective. They’re a well-oiled machine.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their expertise and ability to get things done stood out to us. They went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with their service.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Content Kite was amazing, and I couldn't imagine them having done anything better. They are truly incredible to work with. I highly recommend them.

Traffic increased about 30-50% and customer engagement improved via the updates to the newsletter and social media platforms. Throughout the engagement, Content Kite was always available and communicative. Above all, the value of their work is excellent and they have a good understanding of the industry.

BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I am the founder and owner of Rock Paper Search, a search marketing agency specializing in helping local small businesses with their advertising efforts. We work with clients within the US, but the company doesn't have a firm base.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Content Kite?

We needed to create a blog for the company site in order to drive more traffic and increase the number of inbound leads. We tried a few freelance writers from Upwork and other channels, but they didn't hit the mark. The quality of content wasn't great.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Content Kite came onboard in order to create a content strategy for us. During a three-month campaign, we created regular blog posts and did a lot of research into what we were trying to establish. Content Kite has written a few articles for us and promoted them. They have access to our content management system, social media accounts, and email subscriber list. We approve and have the final say over all content.

How did you come to work with Content Kite?

I had worked with Simon Thompson, Content Kite's owner, back in Australia. We got in touch and realized that we were both engaged in the entrepreneurial scene, so we decided to work together. Simon sent some client portfolios which looked impressive. He had good experience in the digital marketing space, so we went forward.

How much have you invested with Content Kite?

The cost of Content Kite's work has been less than $10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Content Kite three months ago. Our collaboration is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

We have seen a few traffic spikes after each blog post, and we've had some inbound leads come through as a result. I am working with Content Kite on closing our new leads. We've seen anywhere from 30%–50% increases in traffic. The email newsletter has been successful as well. We were collecting data and emails but weren't really doing anything with them, but we've now had some good engagement through our newsletter. In the past, we hadn't done anything significant in terms of social media. Content Kite set up our accounts and drove some engagement in that space. Content Kite has been able to hit the nail on the head with the content they produced for us and even gave us some direction in terms of where I wanted to take the agency. I see it as an ongoing working relationship. It's helped me out a lot.

How did Content Kite perform from a project management standpoint?

Content Kite is very easy to work with. From the beginning, they've outlined what our timelines and prices were. The team was easy to get in touch with. We mainly communicate through email, but also have regular calls. We had a kickoff call for setting our strategy, and Simon was available for follow-ups. I have worked exclusively with him.

What did you find most impressive about Content Kite?

Content Kite is geared towards the digital agency niche, so they're able to understand what companies like ours need from a content perspective. The research element shows a good understanding of the industry. Content Kite is easy to work with in general.

Are there any areas Content Kite could improve?

Nothing comes to mind.
