I’m the COO for Office Evolution. We're a franchisor in the coworking industry.
What challenge were you trying to address with Connection Model, LLC?
We brought in Connection Model specifically for lead generation.
What was the scope of their involvement?
First, Connection Model did a full review and evaluation of all of our marketing efforts. We put together a comprehensive KPI dashboard to help direct our spending and set some KPIs. During their evaluation, it also became clear that we needed to redo our website completely. Connection Model built a completely new website and moved us to HubSpot, which provided more useability for our franchisees.
For lead generation, they’ve managed our digital marketing and done a combination of PPC and organic search. They’ve maximized efforts across our website, social media, blog, and so on. We primarily focus on Facebook.
Also, we’ve allowed our franchisees to use Connection Model, and about 60 locations are doing it along with our ten corporate locations.
What is the team composition?
First, we have David (President & Digital Strategist). He’s the main person on our account. Then, we have a dedicated team of people. If additional items are needed, they have more people within their organization.
How did you come to work with Connection Model, LLC?
I’d worked with Connection Model on three companies before coming into Office Evolution. They’re my go-to digital agency, and I’ve carried them into some other companies over the past few months.
How much have you invested with them?
We spend $30,000 per month, including the franchisees but excluding media. For project fees, it’s around $400 a month for each location.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began our partnership in January 2018, and it’s ongoing. Moreover, their responsibilities have increased through the years.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
It’s been important to us to measure metrics all the way and to move up organically on the web searches. Now, most of our locations are between positions 1–3 on Google, and about 90% of our leads have come through our digital efforts.
We’ve also measured acquisition cost, marketing spends by brand and location, leads coming in, the number of tours and deals closed, and the revenue associated with it. We’ve broken it up very granularly.
How did Connection Model, LLC perform from a project management standpoint?
They do an excellent job; that’s why we continue to use them. We communicate through a specific template and scorecard that we use at weekly meetings. We also have a monthly meeting by location.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Two things stand out: the results and their ability to listen to their client.
Are there any areas they could improve?
At one point, we needed them to improve on working and communicating with our individual franchises. Once it was addressed, they made some changes.

I'm the owner of Office Evolution, Bellevue South. We are a nationwide franchise and our office is the first one to open in the Puget Sound region. We have 54 private offices in a 12,000 sq ft space in the Bellevue area and our goal is to curate a community for individuals who seek a professional work atmosphere.
For what projects/services did your company hire Connection Model, LLC, and what were your goals?
Being the first of it's kind in the state of Washington, we wanted to set Office Evolution apart from other Executive and Co-Working office spaces.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
Connection Model was given to us as a preferred Digital Vendor for our sector and after meeting with the owner, David Carpenter, we chose them for their intimate knowledge of our location and also the ability to work with them in person.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and marking tools used.
From the beginning they helped us to narrow down our target market and potential leads which lead to an incresase in our digital presence. Because of such specific attention to detail, at a time when people were moving away from traditional office space due to COVID, they were able to help us present our business as a viable solution to those still seeking a safe place to conduct business. Marketing tools used were primarily HubSpot with the help of local search and GMB and maps, and consistent review of web content.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Our Click rate , conversions and impressions have been consistently above average and have exceeded expectations for our monthly budget.

We have had monthly in-person meetings as well as have had access to the members of the team when needed.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
This is a local, family-owned business that knows every detail of their work. They provide excellent customer service and their monthly meetings are very organized and detailed.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Faster follow up on some of our web and GMB changes. Unfortunately, they are at the mercy of others.

As a small business owner, I feel like I’m doing everything from janitorial to billing. We were looking to replace the passive marketing that I didn’t have the time to do. I want to be on the first page of Google. I also didn’t have a good website or a mobile site, and I wasn’t growing.

Connection Model helps us with our organic search results. They’ve also helped us with the website. We recently implemented a bot on our website, as well.

If you type in a keyword such as sports chiropractic, we’re number one. I just wanted to be in the top three, and Connection Model is able to keep me there.
When patients come to me and tell me that they found me on Google, I know that Dave’s services are working. Additionally, they are the ones who suggested the bot, which people are actually using.
How did Connection Model perform from a project management standpoint?
Their project management is smooth, and I have no problems. When I message Dave via email or text, he responds instantly. Connection Model’s turnover is quick, which is useful for me as a small business owner.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They deliver what they say they can do. Tons of people make solicitations of what they can do but are quick to fail. The fact that I’ve been with Connection Model since 2012 shows that they’ve delivered on their promises.
Are there any areas they could improve?
If anything, they could provide tools that are specific to my industry. They already do that to a certain extent, but I wonder if there is more that I could be doing.

Trust them. If you don’t trust them, you’re always going to second guess their recommendations.

Connection Model first assessed my website's visibility and accessibility using a program. Then, their team demonstrated how to increase the platform's accessibility. They changed the whole platform. We started working with Connection Model to handle all of our internet marketing campaigns such as pay per click, FB ads, Insta ads, keyword assistance and more.

Our main goal was to increase our leads/month while decreasing our cost/lead.

Since we are a part of a larger Franchise fortunately we found Connection Model at a conference event that we were impressed with so much to switch from what we currently had.

They literally handle ALL our online marketing. They have assited with key word assistance, photo and advertisement suggestions, as well as blog support and more however the number one thing that we love about this company is their desire to work together with us. To explain; they will take each and every request we make and work with us, actually work with us, to change, suggest, and/or trial things to make sure we always meet our monthly goals we place.

Always amazing. No customer service issues. They are professional, care about their clients, and represent this with each and every interaction.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Well...we have accomplished our goal multiple times even when we have switched gears and needed to focus on a different service provided or wanted to swtich up an ad.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Great. Monthly calls truly helped with the follow up and follow through with tasks. If there was a dip in the effectiveness of work flow it was because we were unable to get them the material they needed (i.e. photos). However, each and every time we need support they were there.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Their continued growing knowledge of their industry and how to best market your business. The flexibility they had in taking our ideas and wishes and transmuting that into working internet marketing campaigns. The attention to detail and the fact that even though they have multiple clients they don't forget the details and summarize and keep records of each call.request.
Are there any areas for improvement?
Truly, the ONLY thing that could be an "improvement" is to have our account manager (the one we speak with each month and handles our marketing, etc.) to schedule the call for the next month. This would simply hold us, the client, more accountable since there are times that months go by and we, as their customer, have forgotten to schedule the monthly call to review.
Thanks to Connection Model, LLC, the client’s Google search rankings have gone up and are now between the top three across their locations. Also, 90% of their leads come from their digital efforts. The team manages the project efficiently; they use a scorecard for weekly and monthly meetings.
