The safe steps Family Violence Accommodation Register is a great example of the Victorian government’s desire to shine a spotlight on sensitive and complicated issues, like family violence. The Family Violence Accommodation Register is an internal enterprise application which replaced a paper-based system and daily calls to 30 refuges to understand suitability and availability.
Conduct developed this multi-award winning platform after an extensive period of research and workshops.
The Family Violence Accommodation Register makes the referral process secure for sending documents, affording increased confidentiality for women using the service. The system personalises the parameters for what is an ‘appropriate’ refuge bbased on the individual safety requirements of women in crisis.
