Colorado SEO Pros created a comprehensive SEO strategy that included an SEO content strategy, multi-faceted link-building strategy, and technical SEO strategy to address search-engine accessibility issues.
They first began with an initial research period that was used to create each part of the SEO strategy, then delivered documents and reports for each area of SEO. The strategy was tracked within an online project management system which our team had access to.
Technical Strategy: We received a report with specific technical issues on the website that prioritized fixes and provided detailed recommendations.
Colorado SEO Pros worked directly with our developer to provide him with the details he needed to execute solutions, and then performed follow up testing to confirm success. We were able to efficiently fix a majority of the technical issues and they provided ongoing testing and recommendations as needed each month. We were also able to significantly improve page load speed with the tools and direction they provided.
Content Strategy: We had a set number of target service pages we were looking to build out on the website which Colorado SEO Pros provided recommendations for. For each page they gave us a content blueprint that outlined precisely how the content was to be optimized. We had our in-house writers create the content and then Colorado SEO Pros would review to make sure it was properly optimized.
Link-Building Strategy: Colorado SEO Pros performed a detailed initial analysis to create the link-building strategy, examining competitors and other industry websites to determine approach.
They performed a toxic link assessment to evaluate any negative links that could be hurting us as well. Ultimately they provide a multi-faceted strategy that included targeted link-building to pursue key rankings, as well as a PR link-building program that combined traditional PR and modern SEO to get high-value, competitor-proof back links.

We measured success in a number of different ways, looking at overall organic traffic, organic traffic to just key service pages, and organic traffic to the blog. We examined keyword rankings in the same way and also tracked organic traffic conversions across the site and on target pages.

- Year over year organic traffic is up 73.3% (GA)
- Year over year non-branded organic traffic is up 48.27% (GA)
- Year over year non-branded organic traffic increased from 44% of total traffic to 66% of total traffic. (SEMR)

- Year over year 1 st page rankings increased 50%, from 143 keywords to 215 keywords. (SEMR)
- Target service page total rankings increased 285% from 55 to 219 keywords from December to June after optimization and launch.

During the length of the project, we received thousands of incoming leads and estimate that with our close ratio and average transaction value that we have received an estimated ROI of 5,342%.

We began the project in December 2017 with an SEO program that began with a comprehensive SEO campaign plan including a SEO content strategy, technical SEO strategy, and link-building strategy. In 2018 Colorado SEO Pros began development of a new website, re-structuring much of the current content and created an updated content strategy to help us target specific markets across the country. Colorado SEO Pros created an SEO content strategy, link-building strategy, and technical SEO strategy to help us tackle the project from all angles. We created targeted site content based on recommendations, then they optimized and published all the changes. They also worked with our team to craft a detailed link-building strategy targeting high value backlinks through a customized outreach plan.

We went from being non-existent in search and social to having a developed brand with national visibility and an established footprint online. When we began we had no rankings in search engines at all, even for our brand, so people looking for us couldn’t find us.
Our brand was actually very competitive in search and we now own the entire search results page and have an established presence at a national level. We have been able to reach business owners who needed financial assistance, businesses trying to navigate bankruptcy, businesses trying to manage insurance issues related to COVID, as well as a spectrum of other businesses we have been able to help. In a year, we received 287 applications and were able to assist more than 250 small businesses throughout the State of Colorado. Our SEO and online strategy played a critical role in this success.

Colorado SEO Pros has had a dramatic impact on our business. In 2018 we generated an average of 10 online leads per month. In 2020 we’ve soared up to an average of 107 online leads per month. Organic traffic rose from 326 US visits in Q1 of 2018, to 10,313 US visits in Q1 of 2020. Rankings also rose dramatically, and now we’re ranking #1 for key money terms like “network marketing vitamins.” We’re also on page 1 for broad, high-value terms like “Law of attraction money.”
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
It has been very effective. I worked with Julian Adorney, who was very responsive via email in addition to taking regular calls with me to discuss strategy and give updates. Julian was able to keep all the balls in the air. They keep an eye on the larger strategy and pivot smoothly to take advantage of new opportunities.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Colorado SEO Pros has been very skilled at delivering leads and with following up to make sure that those leads are the type and quality I’m looking for. Early in the campaign we were bringing in a lot of leads but they weren’t converting as well as we expected. After doing a deep dive into the account, Colorado SEO Pros pivoted strategy to focus on a new target market and lead quality substantially improved.
Are there any areas for improvement?
Honestly, no. Colorado SEO Pros has been diligent about focusing on the metrics that we care about and working with us to try and deliver bottom-line revenue.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder and CEO of Health Street.
What challenge were you trying to address with Colorado SEO Pros?
We were looking for holistic help with our marketing and performance on search engines.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They provided ranking support for our website through technical SEO and content keyword targeting. The project started with a deep dive and analysis into all of the data that we had so that they could make recommendations about prioritizing places to start in terms of keywords and organizational changes.
Once we settled on where to start, their team pointed us toward specific changes that we could make under the hood of our site, including page locations, as well as in our content sharing so that we were getting seen more broadly. They also helped us to implement tools to continue tracking those metrics to make sure our efforts were successful.

How did you come to work with Colorado SEO Pros?
I actually originally heard their CEO talking on a radio program, and I realized they had a very similar philosophy in terms of how to approach challenges. We reached out to them from there, spent a couple of months in discussions to make sure that our teams were a good fit, and decided to start working together after that.
What is the status of this engagement?
The partnership has lasted about a year so far, beginning around September 2019 and continuing today.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The results we saw were pretty dramatic from the start. In just six months, we saw an 85% increase in organic traffic, as well as a 90% increase in new users from the keywords we were targeting. We also increased our total page one keyword rankings by 16%, and because of that went up 52% in terms of local visibility and impressions.
How did Colorado SEO Pros perform from a project management standpoint?
They have a great combination of being very clear and organized but also flexible enough to incorporate all of the natural changes that come up in the course of doing business. They came up with a plan that they stick to while also being able to bring in other specific requirements or priorities without throwing off the original timeline.
We use Monday.com to keep track of our progress toward specific deliverables and milestones, as well as Google Drive for document sharing and some of their proprietary technologies.
What did you find most impressive about them?
It’s really all about results, and those speak for themselves. The fact that they are able to deliver so successfully and consistently is due to the fact that they are very knowledgeable, have a mix of technical and content talent, and they have great leadership.
They offer ideas and solutions and are not afraid to ask questions when they don’t think that our ideas make the most sense. As opposed to some larger, more generic companies, this team has a real deep reservoir of talent that can drive a company’s SEO from good to great.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t have any specific things I think they could be doing differently.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
We have a pretty great level of internal technical talent, and we have found that style of partnership to be incredibly effective in implementing the recommendations that they make for us. If you have a more junior team, you might have to rely on them to make some of the changes or take the lead on the priority setting a little more.

Our company is WOW!, and we are an Internet, TV, and phone provider servicing 19 different markets throughout the United States. My position is a coordinator on the Digital Innovation team, and I am primarily tasked with all things content strategy, content editing, as well as management of our SEO for our residential site, wowway.com.
