We have to take on a fresh approach towards this client, while factoring the traditional approach of an e-commerce platform to slowly ease-in the target market.
We realized that they had inconsistent brand colors, and tried to take on too much in both the creative and strategic aspect in such as short amount of time. They wanted to expand into as much exposure as they can which we completely relate to. However, with the budget and timeline of a year, we felt that it was too soon and had to propose a solution where we can be both aggressive but have to maintain a solid approach.
Long story short, we felt it would be better to focus.
We felt that it would be best to tone their branding down. We had to work with them on a new color-palette of their brand while maintaining the teal look of their old branding. Teal is a limited color to match so we had to go through rigorous research, review of the fundamentals of colors, and a lot of trial and error to get it right.
We had to re-work their strategy and proposed it would be best to focus on Social Media Marketing first on both Facebook and Instagram. LinkedIn will come soon as it is perfect for Business to Business campaigns, but ads in LinkedIn are too expensive. We will contemplate it soon enough.
There is yet to be a quantitative result, as our business relationship is new. However, the client is excited to launch our rebrand and we are excited to have a long-term relationship with them.
