They designed and developed together with our team a web application that is used in Cybersecurity Area to keep track and manage Vulnerabilities that can occur in IT network on the end devices. This application has functionality to manage vulnerabilities throughout the defined vulnerability resolution lifecycle.This application has a complex rights and roles concept, so the corresponding functionalities to support this concept are also developed as part of this project.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

At our regular weekly meetings where releases and demos are presented, we checked together whether the SW requirements are met and whether the appearance of the application corresponds to the desired and defined standard.

Everything was delivered on time. They also actively participated in the Sw requirements definition and project planning. All changes were mutually agreed and implemented without any delay.

Development of an MLP of a complex web application that allows the project managers to carry out a complete video production in close cooperation with the client. The focus is on collaboration with the clients, but also with internal staff and external freelancers. All important process steps and documents are accessible to all people involved.

We felt very well looked after from the first meeting through the scoping workshop to the end of the project. The communication was always open, transparent and very pleasant. The timings were almost always adhered to and if this was not the case, it was communicated immediately.

The goal was to design a specific module for an NFT sale with multi-phase sales procedures with restrictions based on buyer characteristics (Whitelist, KYC, etc.) The work started with the specs that we sent, then the flow design that we also sent. The team then worked on integrating into our existing core product and preparing the front-end so that it could be customized for the projects to be sold.

Codetribe was hired to develop a web app for communicating and accepting crypto donations for UNICEF in Serbia. The goal was to have a representable online presence explaining the process of donating crypto and displaying leaderboard of donors, as well as an interface to connect to user's MetaMask wallet.

UNICEF has managed to collect a reasonable amount of crypto donations from this campaign, and to establish itself as a stakeholder in crypto community in Serbia.

The project was very agile, so we had weekly update meetings to track the progress and test & provide feedback for delivered components.

Codetribe provided several Web and Mobile engineers to augment our projects' teams. They were responsible to deliver features based on the agreement with the team.

We first share staffing request for the particular project and positions we need to fill in. They provide available candidates that seem to be a match for the engagement. Project team reviews the profiles of the candidates and decide which of them we want to meet with and evaluate their skills and match.

With Codetribe support we were able to scale up the project team with the profiles that we lack at the moment.

In our company we decided to move the Softdev department from an in house department from a 3rd party outsourced department. This is not a project with an end, but an ongoing collaboration to act as Software Developers for all our projects/operations/daily needs.

This was not done by me personally, so I don't know. But in my daily work, I'm very satisfied with the decision.

The scope is very broad, since it's not a single project but the support+extension of all our existing code. Mostly we use a portal (ruby on rails, react) and many perl scripting in the network level. We have been assigned different profiles of developers for each of these two parts of our business.

One project manager plus a group of six software developers.

With the right direction, they managed to reduce considerably the amount of bugs in our legacy system by carefully analysing the root cause and finding a proper solution, involving code redesign, instead go for the quick hack approach.

Several mock-ups were delivered to us and web development progressed smoothly, with multiple iterations between us and Codetribe team to reach the optimal solution we envisaged for our website both design- and functional-wise

Andrijana (Project Manager) was our point of contact and a couple of developers have done outstanding work coding the website. CEO Ivan (CEO) overlooked the process to see that everything was going smoothly.

After launching our website we had positive reactions from our clients and peers since the website was now structured better and more attractive.

Communication was excellent, sometimes only by exchange of emails, there was a task/assignments management over google sheets. Sometimes we had google meet calls sharing the screen. Overall very good organization.

I found them to be very client-oriented since Ivan always had time to drop an email and see how the project was progressing. Andrijana was very easy to communicate with and understood our ideas right away.

The project was related to the development of a custom software solution for more efficient tracking of tools (basic information of tools, their documentation, location inside the factory, services modules, etc.) that are used for everyday operations.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Laban's CEO found them through a referral and positive feedback. Since this was a project that had a relatively short timeline we needed a results-driven partner that was committed to providing customer support.

We first started with a three-day discovery workshop where we went through the whole idea for our project. They gave us a lot of insights and useful ideas on how to make the workflows for our project easier or more user-friendly from a Software point of view. Then, they gave us workflows and design mock-ups to approve before starting production.

The production was done in several parts. When one part was finished they sent it to us for testing while they worked on the next part. This allowed us to test functions and give feedback.

There were 2 people at the vendor site that were in constant contact with us and were leading the project from their side. However several other designers and developers were assigned to the project depending on the amount of work.

We were able to launch the project before the anticipated timeline, which was a major achievement for us. The software frees up our employees' time because it enables a quicker and easier overview, which allows them to focus on other tasks.

The project management was great. We had regular online meetings and in addition to that, if there were any questions or issues on either side, we set up a quick call to resolve them. They regularly met deadlines, and we never had unexpected turnovers. We mainly communicated through the Google platform (emails, Meet, etc.). We also used Trello and Figma. 

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were really quick to respond to any questions we had. They had constructive discussions and really took time to understand our problem and wish and then helped to come up with a useful solution.
