I’m the founder and director of operations at Urban Cabs, an on-demand ride-hailing service. We provide food delivery, vehicle ordering, taxi booking, and product ordering services, and we’ve been developing the software for a year.

What challenge were you trying to address with CodersGlobe?

I was using offshore developers, and we had many communication and reliability issues, to the point where our project nearly failed. We had an API issue with Google Maps and real-time tracking issues, and we hired CodersGlobe to fix them.

What was the scope of their involvement?

CodersGlobe provides us with web and mobile app development. They’re helping us with a maintenance and optimization project for our apps. We have apps for iOS and Android that use Java, Laravel, and PHP, and they’re already available to users. We also have a website and web app that includes booking, admin, accounts, and master panels. 

First, they learned about our apps’ coding for a couple of weeks. After that, they divided the project into phases regarding what needed to be done. Then, they started implementing and fixing the issues. They’ve been fixing bugs and API issues. The team has also provided UI/UX design and marketing services. CodersGlobe has finalized the first step and is currently in our second phase. 

Once they finish optimization, they’ll update the mobile apps on the App Store and Google Play Store. We’re also considering advancing our software with AI technology and machine learning (ML).

We’ve worked with over eight teammates from CodersGlobe, including a backend developer, a frontend developer, a UI/UX designer, a web application developer, and marketing specialists.

After failing with our previous developers, I searched online on platforms like Clutch, GoodFirms, and Upwork. I found CodersGlobe, which had very good reviews, so I contacted them via Upwork. We chose them because we found them to be professional and reliable.

CodersGlobe is very helpful and prompt in responding to and solving technical issues. Moreover, they’re experts in up-to-date technology stacks and hybrid and native technologies. With them, we’ve finally found a reliable company. The team is very friendly, professional, and responsive, and they address issues in due time.

We use Trello for project management. The team sets a timeline, and they follow it. Moreover, they always communicate with us.

After our previous experience, I appreciate how CodersGlobe approaches a project; they address issues, provide solutions, and always communicate with us. They immediately communicate any issue they find, fix it immediately, and then move on to the next one.

Technology moves fast, so even though they provide good service, they must keep up to date with new technologies, management tools, and especially marketing tools.

I needed to outsource development work.

CodersGlobe developed two mobile applications for my customer, one for Android and the other for iOS. The iOS app was built in Swift, and the Android one was in Java. Their team was in charge of server-side implementation and providing services to the mobile app. Then, CodersGlobe integrated those APIs into the mobile app so that different data was available through the app. 

I also worked on another project with CodersGlobe, which involved integrating Stripe into another customer's cross-platform mobile app. Their team also provided server-side support to help the API communicate with the backend.

For both projects, I worked with a project coordinator. I worked with an Android and an iOS developer for the Stripe integration. Then, I worked with a backend developer on the other project.

I had connections with CodersGlobe through another individual. The first project I did with them went well, so I decided to work with them again.

I invested $700–$800 with CodersGlobe.

What is the status of this engagement?

My first project with CodersGlobe was from July 2021–January 2022, and the second was from May–June 2022.

My customer has their own QA team, so when we were developing the apps, they were testing them. Once the customer approved the quality, I delivered the apps.

CodersGlobe kept me updated on the projects' progress. At the start of every milestone, we had a meeting to define sprints. They were good at meeting deadlines and used Jira and GitHub to manage the project.  

What did you find most impressive about them?

CodersGlobe's project coordinator was always available, even during the off-hours. I could communicate any changes I wanted to make or bugs that arose. I had a very positive experience with them. Their dedication to the project was great.

CodersGlobe always keeps customers involved in their processes, and customers need to have a lead to keep them aware of the project's status.

We had interviewed conducted with different vendors and this one is the most suitable and was meeting our requirements so thats why we have selected this company.

This project is specifically for the Avenue Mall Dubai to show all the shops, events, offers and floor maps. The project being completed in two phases. In first Phase CodersGlobe complete all the UI and Prototype for both Android and IOS and in second phase they integrated the REST APIs and completed the data mapping to UI. This project is majorly based on REST APIs.

The scope of work includes an app that has been launched specially for the people in Dubai for a new mall and its name is Avenue Mall. This app has been used by the people in order to get all the information related to the avene mall. The app has been developed in Native Android using kotlin and Native iOS using Swift. The app includes the list of the shops and restaurants. It also contains the floor plans and everything related to the avene mall.

Yes the company has met the requirementas that we had put ahead and they have recently uploaded the apps on the app stores. The work is completed and we are satisfied with their work.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company? Answer: the communication and project management techniques are quite impressive as they follow the agile development model. They communicate frequently and resolve the issues that they are facing or any requirements refining thing. The most impressive thing was they were committed and cooperative.

Their level and of commitment, ability to understand and discuss the requirements and going beyond to solve the problems were really impressive

CodersGlobe is supportive whenever I want to make changes, and the team is really friendly. The website development is still in progress, so I don’t have any hard metrics yet.

How did CodersGlobe perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management is good, and they have excellent time availability; they’re there whenever I contact them. We mostly use Trello for project management, including task assignments and communication. Additionally, we have meetings through Google Meet because it’s easy for my team and me. We also have a group on WhatsApp.

What did you find most impressive about them?

CodersGlobe is the perfect solution to any requirement on the market. They work with the latest technology and can support previous versions of a technology if a client requires it. Additionally, their CEO is also a project manager, so they have really impressive customer service.

CodersGlobe is really caring and very supportive to their customers. I would recommend them for any web solution because they’ll be there wherever you have an issue.

I’ve given excellent feedback to the app. CodersGlobe has provided me with tools to view the app as it progresses, allowing me to check when something needs to be changed. Overall, working with the team was easy, and I look forward to collaborating with them further in the future. They make good use of the money that I’ve invested into the partnership. 

How did CodersGlobe perform from a project management standpoint?

CodersGlobe project management is good. Some tasks have taken a little longer. However, if I ask for changes, they tell me upfront if such changes will take more time to complete. Since they’re from Upwork, we set milestones there. 

To communicate, we use WhatsApp and call each other when issues arise. We also sometimes use Google Meet and email. So far, this communication style has been excellent. Overall, the CodersGlobe team has been attentive to us and forthcoming with anything that needs to be addressed. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re willing to work with me even if I’m not the best person to work with at times — everyone has their moments. The team caters to me, and my requests get done for the most part. On top of that, their communication skills and pricing are great.

No, there aren’t any. We run into little issues, but they’re not major problems.

The CodersGlobe team is great to work with, especially when you’re just starting out and new to the business. They’re attentive and truly try to turn your vision into reality. Simply put, they’re highly competent.
