I’m the lead dentist at a dental clinic.
What challenge were you trying to address with The Coder Spot?
We hired them for web design services.
What was the scope of their involvement?
The Coder Spot started with a consultation to find out what we wanted. From there, they made a blueprint and mock-up. The team provided us with a PDF version of the website and then built the site using WordPress. I had been using a template on a different platform, and they transferred the information to the new site.
What is the team composition?
I had direct contact with a designer and a developer.
How did you come to work with The Coder Spot?
I found them through a referral from our practice manager.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent roughly €3,000 (approximately $3,000 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from November 2019–April 2022.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We have gotten a lot of positive feedback saying that the website is very nice and functional. We’ve had over 300 entries with messages through our calendar system in recent days. Although that has to do with our marketing provider, the functionality The Coder Spot added to the site ultimately allowed those results.
How did The Coder Spot perform from a project management standpoint?
They were very good at communicating and sticking to schedule and budget. They had great availability, responding after hours and even during holidays. The team was very attentive; they managed to get work done even when they were on vacation.
The Coder Spot adapted to the mediums and channels we were comfortable with. We communicated strictly through WhatsApp and email.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I was most impressed by The Coder Spot’s dedication and responsiveness. They always worked on my schedule, and no matter what time I messaged them, they would reply the next day at the latest. Additionally, the team always handled requests on the spot without question. Their pricing was also really good; they didn’t overcharge or make additional charges for modifications. Overall, The Coder Spot was very fair and professional.

No, I wouldn’t say there was anything they needed to improve.

My advice is to have a really clear idea of the sections you want The Coder Spot to design and develop. I recommend collecting photographs and some sample websites to get inspiration.

For what projects/services did your company hire The Coder Spot, and what were your goals?
We wanted to create a mobile app where anybody is able to find an interpreter in any language, anytime and anywhere in the world! Our aim was to have an app which is user friendly, in app video calls, chats, hiring/booking system and payments all in one place! Has to be able to offer services for different type of accounts with different level of users !
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
Our first connection was through emails and after I could see that they really understand what I want and what I need, we set up a meeting! I met Nathan and Kanhu , both very professional and knowledgeable individuals, they were very enthusiastic about this project from the first time !
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
The project was straight forward but when The coder spot developed the first wire plans, it was way more complicated then it looked at first! Below is the technology stack that was used to build the Android and iOS application Admin Module Laravel Php framework Mobile Application Ionic v5 and Laravel API. Server Amazon AWS Video Calling System WebRTC and Firebase WebRTC and Firebase was used to build the entire video transmitting system.
Video streaming system uses a WebRTC wrapper named PeerJS and Firebase. Firebase is used for handshake process between the two devices and then actual connection (Peer to peer video) is done using PeerJS. This system is then wrapped in an ionic system which helps us achieve various functionality (Enabling/disabling video feed, Mute/unmute audio, disconnecting call, recognize Bluetooth connected device (for audio feed)) on a calling system.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
I had 3 resources! Kanhu and Nishant on daily contact, working on the development of the app, with very fast and efficient problem solving abilities! Nathan on regular contact on the business development!
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Our app will be launched in the next few days! Even if right now we do not have any downloads of the app, we know that it will be a success in a very short time

Very easy communication with everyone, alway available and helpful! We used many hours of Google meets, zooms and hundreds of Watsapp messages!

We wanted the Coder Spot company to develop an Android/IOS mobile app for us.

We did our online research for potential companies in that field and decided to cooperate with the Coder Spot.

We had an introductory video meeting and then a series of follow-up online video meetings as well as e-mail correspondence to discuss our goals and objectives. From our end we provided the team with wireframes and general information.
The Coder Spot started working on the project following our information. They were regularly updating us on the progress and adjusting their work according to our feedback. The project is still work in progress. As the first part, prototype product is planned to be created. At the moment, 80% of it is done and it is shaping to be an app that could potentially be a game changer for millions of people worldwide.
As the second phase, a fully operational model is planned to be created.

A project manager was assigned to be our main point of contact throughout the project. Additionally and equally, we interacted with the CEO of the company. Both of them have left an impression of incredibly capable professionals with utmost attention to detail and desire to create best product possible.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
At the moment, we are 4 months into the project and as mentioned earlier, about 80% of fully-functioning prototype is done. Time-wise, everything goes as it has been initially scheduled, and we are planning to fully finish the ptototype within upcoming few weeks and start planning phase 2 of the project.

Both the project manager and the CEO of the company are easy to communicate with and provided frequent updates. Due to COVID-19 all the communication was held by e-mail and through regular videocalls. Everything was delivered on time.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Nothing I can think of as everything was on the highest level.
