ProFIX is a top-ranked Company supplying IT solutions and associated high-standard services within the financial sector. Among our customers are 250+ banks and other financial service companies in 40+ countries.

We are the partners of the world-known companies: Microsoft, SWIFT, Oracle, IBM, MoneyGram International, Telesens, Linxdatacenter, Temenos, Smart Stream, IND, and many others. I’m responsible for business development and strategy.

For what projects/services did your company hire CML Team LTD, and what were your goals?

In order to scale and speed up our operations, products, and services we needed a reliable partner with great and holistic expertise in various areas of software and middleware development and maintenance. We’ve started our partnership with a pilot project that was in the building of different complex flows using Etlworks middleware and its ecosystem for one of the ProFIX clients.

We did market research on the web and CML Team Ltd picked our interest, after reviewing their portfolio and speaking to the founders we realized we had some connections in common. We reached out to those connections and they had provided very positive feedback on CML Team Ltd.

In the beginning, we had various requirements that the client wanted to achieve by leveraging the Etlworks middleware layer. Our goal was to gather all those requirements, evaluate the feasibility of the project, assess dependencies, and estimate the efforts required to execute it smoothly.

CML Team Ltd helped with finishing this task. We were very impressed with the approach and speed of working on that task, and we hired them to implement the project with us for the client. After deploying the project to production there are a number of follow up projects we’re working on together.

The size of the team varied from one to three full-stack software engineers, with one being a tech lead and delivery manager.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We had successfully delivered the main project and a number of follow-up projects to the clients’ production environment. Now we continue our collaboration on new projects and services for other clients by leveraging the diverse tech expertise of CML Team LTD in middleware, software, web, mobile, and DevOps.

We had a delivery manager from their end responsible for the delivery, they used agile processes and SCRUM in particular. The delivery to the clients’ production environment was of the highest quality and in time.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The most impressive is their ability to be on top of the problems and issues that occur on the way and proactive approach to addressing them. Furthermore, we were amazed by the quality and speed of the delivery they had provided. CML Team LTD supports our business continuously, we’re looking forward to more interesting and challenging projects ahead.

We have a permanent quality assurance meeting where we are trying to optimize our cooperation with a CML Ltd. company.

I’m the COO of TradeRepublic, Germany’s first mobile and commission-free broker that allows trading shares and ETFs without order commissions on the stock exchange. I’m responsible for building and scaling operations.

In order to be able to work and control all the processes along the value chain of our business, we decided to build a proprietary back office system. It was a quick and reliable solution that could match our needs in the best possible way.

The main task was to help with the development of our back office system that would act as an administrative web application for our new broker platform.

I knew them personally for some time. We decided to work with CML Team LTD after seeing their development history as well as their successful hackathon participation.

When we started the project, the initial framework and design of the systems were already developed internally. The key focus was on expanding the functional deck of the system and developing new views that could support and replicate processes. The platform is connected through a broad variety of APIs to different backend systems and allows us to control all business processes.

In the beginning, we were working in weekly sprints, and after some time, it shifted to two-week sprints. Our team prepared all functional specifications and tickets. After discussing those with CML Team LTD, the functions were moved to development.

What was the team composition?

The size of the team varied from two to three developers, with one being an experienced team lead.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Having a fully-functional back office system was vital for providing brokerage solutions to our clients. It went live at the beginning of 2019.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

With the help of their team, we were able to meet highly ambitious timelines and go into production as scheduled and without delays.

We were impressed with their flexibility and ability to meet timelines. CML Team LTD supported our business continuously, even during intense phases.

I am the founder and CEO of Sophophilia Studios, which was created to produce video games with the goal of going past just entertainment. For the first several years I did all the work and did not contract out any part of the game development process.

I hired the CML Team LTD to take over the smart contract development required for this project. I later hired them for the website development requirements as well.

What were your goals for this project?

My goal for this project is to create one of the most played DApp games on the market. I want to create a lasting IP with multiple sequels and a lasting, ever-growing community.

How did you select this vendor?

I interviewed over 30 candidates from UpWork. Basil (Co-Founder, CML Team LTD) stood out in several key factors. He seemed the most knowledgeable, his price was fair, and most importantly for me, he was very enthusiastic in taking part in this project.

Later I hired a web developer, per Basil's suggestion, to take over the web development part of the project. The web developer showed a lot of competency in the required areas. He quickly learned the work that the previous web developer had done and started working on the future of the project, making the switch over less detrimental than I had anticipated.

Basil creates all the smart contracts that are the foundation of this game. He also works with the web developer to create the systems that let the website talk with the blockchain. The web developer takes all my website designs and converts them into a functioning website, mostly using React. He works with Basil to link up the site with the blockchain.

Basil is the solidity developer. Roman is the web developer. I also work with an artist.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

The success of our firm relies on this project, and so far they’ve been meeting expectations.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

They’ve missed a few deadlines. Sometimes that’s been because of my lack of planning, and some by the team underestimating the time certain parts would take. Overall, I have been happy with the project management.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They bring a deep level of understanding of the core base of knowledge needed to do their respective jobs. A lot of this project consists of systems that have not been built before, but they can execute the work with confidence and success because of their base knowledge.

Basil has been amazing to work with. He has great attention to detail, and his code is immaculate. He comments his code wonderfully, which makes it easy for me to find things, and allows for easy expansion of the team. The web developer is very intuitive and he is able to figure out the details of a system without me needed to explain everything.

Are there any areas for improvement?

They could be better about planning their workload to hit deadlines more reliably, but I should also be better about staying on top of the project. Their web developer also has room to improve with regard to his language skills, but I’m confident that he will.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

CML Team developed new components for input and output of different user data, including statistics and the chart of the currency exchange rates. Improved the performance of the Stop Loss/Take profits and Anti-liquidation bots. Developed a new algorithm that optimizes payments to the Flashbot. This speeds up overall product development swiftly and allows us to approach investors and early adopters with holistic feature set incorporates into the product

We had a flat organization process, where we can reach out to engineers directly without any intermediary. We use agile and scrum methodology.

Besides many things I would say that most impressive about the CML Team is their delivery speed, and professionalism. They have profound expertise in Web3 and blockchain space.
