Introduce your business and what you do there.
I work for Ayla Networks. We’re an IoT company. I’m the digital marketing manager and also run the marketing operations and sales operations team.
What challenge were you trying to address with Cloudtegic?
We needed to migrate our marketing instance from Marketo to Pardot, and Cloudtegic acted as our implementation partner. There was also a critical, short timeframe of two weeks.
What was the scope of their involvement?
To start, we went through our Marketo marketing automation instance and divvied up the material that we wanted to transfer to Pardot. Cloudtegic set up the Pardot domain, got our users signed up, and built our programs. Additionally, they trained me almost daily.
On the backend, Cloudtegic did custom Pardot development to create our email templates and reports, set up the reception of web forms from our website, and ensured everything aligned with our branding, including the landing pages.
Moving forward, they’re going to help us with content marketing and creating actual engagement programs, emails, and landing pages.
What is the team composition?
Ryan (Partner) put together the SOW to start the partnership. There was a really intense onboarding and he worked around our limited resources and budget.
Shannon (Solutions Architect) did the implementation, and he’s brilliant — a Pardot master. There’s nothing he doesn’t know, and if he doesn’t have an answer, he will find one. He was our main point of contact.
I wasn’t sure if Mike (CEO) would be involved but he joined a couple of calls, and I met them all in-person toward end of the implementation.
How did you come to work with Cloudtegic?
We were working with Salesforce on Pardot and they brought on Cloudtegic. We were nervous because Salesforce is a massive company with many partners, but speaking to Shannon and Ryan gave us confidence.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent $25,000 with them.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working with them since December 2021.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Yesterday was the first day we sent out a marketing email through the Pardot system, and it was. huge success. The reporting was clear and we saw higher hit rates and open rates than we received with Marketo. The email was about a webinar, and the quality of registrants from the email is awesome. It’s a good demonstration of what we have to look forward to.
How did Cloudtegic perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re great in this regard, using Asan to record training videos, upload videos, and keep track of all the different pieces. It’s been very well executed.
Cloudtegic is responsive and flexible, moving things as needed. They’re like an extension of my own team.
Communication happened through Outlook, Asana, and Zoom. We had a daily call during the development on Zoom, as well as other quick phone calls if clarity was needed on a certain point.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their quality of work stands out. They’re a small team but they’re mighty. Everyone in Cloudtegic has a background in marketing automation, so there are no misunderstandings. All information has been clear and concise.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Nothing has come to mind throughout the first month of our relationship.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
They move quickly and are very knowledgeable, so be attentive when they’re speaking. Every time we’ve done a training session we’ve gathered valuable information. They record them as well, so dive into them later, too.

Their project management was excellent. The Cloudtegic had their own project management tool that detailed their work, action items, and so on.
In terms of communication, we had weekly cadence calls and exchanged emails and phone calls.
