We needed to kick up sales for our new b2b product based on its features like shortcuts for faster typing, which no competitors could offer. So, we've recruited the team at Cliqbird to develop a marketing strategy, define marketing channels to use, and set up the lead generation campaign.
How did you select Cliqbird Inc.and what were the deciding factors?
Their enthusiasm to provide a service and get results is evident. They take a personal interest in our company and want to do their best. That’s always important to me as an employer. The results up to this point indicate that the model works. They’re unique in that their program is scalable. As we expand into new business areas, we can increase our relationship with Cliqbird to continually generate new leads and appointments.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
Cliqbird Inc. primary output is appointment generation. They manage the entire processing of setting up meetings. They first put together a list of prospectuses for my company and booked meetings with the ones that matched our ICP. They managed all of our calendars, including rescheduling requests and cancellations. The team is also responsible for updating our Pipedrive database, either directly or through spreadsheets.
We’re able to give them large sets of leads, and they’ll qualify them to figure out which companies fit our criteria based on our ideal customer profile (ICP). They used internal automation tools to reach out to prospects on our behalf. They use various channels—email, phone, and LinkedIn for the most part—and have in-house copywriters who craft the messages. We did have to onboard the team at the beginning, but now they can rely on their own templates. Vik (CRO) is our primary business point of contact. He manages contract renewals and other administrative tasks.
Stan manages all of their accounts, but we also have a day-to-day sales development manager who’s dedicated to our project.

With those two team members, as well as our dedicated researcher, we have a team of three individuals working for us. Stas (CEO) is also involved, and I can bring him in at any time.

After the discovery meeting we shared the first data based on our own findings in the business development process (what clients/companies/roles worked so far and what is our product about). Cliqbird helped to create an ICP and started to generate the first lead lists right away. Also they provided full support in the copy (in English) of the emails. A couple of rounds where needed where we provided feedback to copy and lead list and after that we could start really fast.

We are assigned 1 project manager, 1 senior sponsor and 1 copywriter from Cliqbird. A fast working lean team

Initially we say moderate open rates of the emails, which resulted in Cliqbird taking quick action and adjusting strategy. From there the open rates went up. The reply rates were still fairly low which we expected because we were offering a new product category in the market. Cliqbird was very flexible and kept supporting the project within the same budget even though we went way over the initial 1 month project time. They even expanded the scope on their own cost to help increasing our success rates.

After describing the problem and providing with the particular ICP, we have received:
- The list of leads' emails and LinkedIn profiles which were validated and filtered to our needs
- Together, we have prepared the sequence versions we would use for these campaigns
- Steps on how we would outreach to the target leads
- Pre-qualification through messaging with leads
- Setting up calls for our Sales Managers

We were pretty happy with the results of the campaigns. We were able to secure the number of verified opportunities we haven't expected.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The communication, reporting, and especially their speed are fantastic. We had never been able to secure the lists of 10k+ verified leads' lists before.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
I would say that the speed of work and being quite flexible to the needs of their clients. Even on the weekends, we were able to communicate with them and request some work being done. One of the tasks was setting up offline meetings in particular geography and we were stunned by the result in around a week's time.
Is there any area for improvement or anything that could have been done differently?
There was some back and forth regarding the tone of voice our company is using and aligning with it. But eventually, we were able to get to the point we were satisfied with.
