The Humber Tech Expo 2019 was an amazing event bringing some of the biggest tech giants to the Humber. The Expo was all about technology and innovation and showcasing the Humber. The area is at the forefront of technology and innovation with over £20bn pounds of investment over the last 10 years. Click was asked to build the new Tech Expo website and app - which we were more than happy to do.
As a silver partner for the event, we wanted to create some of the technology that the Expo was showcasing. The technology on show was around software development, robotics, artificial intelligence, blockchain, and AR / VR. As a company that designs and builds a lot of software solutions we felt privileged to be the technology web partner and will be continuing to support this huge event in 2020
Stackers.com website
Stackers is a large online retailer supplying a range of bespoke products that are sold all over the world. LC Designs have a range of online eCommerce websites and brands. The largest band is Stackers, which is a multi million revenue eCommerce store. The website is stunning in design and innovative in its development and pushes the boundaries of what can be done in Magento 2.
Mad About Horror
Mad About Horror wanted to move its site from woo commerce to Magento to take advantage of the additional features the Magento platform has and to facilitate the growth in their online business.
We were asked to create a project that allowed for all current data to be migrated with various integrations to the new site all wrapped up in a lovely new responsive design that focused on the user experience.
MAH also needed a bespoke pre-order system and that needed to work in a specific way based on the needs of the business. it had to be robust and flexible.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner of an online retail company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Click Digital Solutions?
We needed a new CRM software package and updates to our existing e-commerce site.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Click Digital Solutions is responsible for updating our Magento website. Their services in this aspect center on website building and design. Their team has improved our platform’s UI/UX by making it more mobile responsive. Additionally, they have created a software solution that has helped us optimize our time management in handling customer orders.
They also support us in other areas such as digital marketing. Click Digital Solutions handles our Google Ads campaigns, as well as our social media and email marketing.
What is the team composition?
We’ve worked with 4–5 people from their team on the different areas of our project: their client services director, who’s also the project manager, a digital marketing analyst, a social media strategist, and their web developers.
How did you come to work with Click Digital Solutions?
We found their team through word of mouth — somebody recommended them to us. We spoke with a few other companies until we decided that Click Digital Solutions was our best option.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent around £20,000–£30,000 (approximately $28,000–$41,000 USD) so far.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started in January 2020, and our partnership is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We are very happy with what they’ve delivered so far. We’ve received good comments from our customers who’ve pointed out that the UX is a lot better than before. On the CRM side, we’ve managed orders more efficiently, so we spend the spare time on other aspects of our business.
Over the last 12 months, Click Digital Solutions’ work for us has resulted in an increase in our turnover. I’m sure that we can attribute this to what they’ve done, otherwise, we won’t be spending more money on their team.
How did Click Digital Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?
Their team communicates well with me on a daily basis. We mostly do this via phone calls, but there are occasional Zoom meetings as well. The client services director has been exceptional in keeping me updated with the progress of their work.
Another thing I like about Click Digital Solutions is their traditional way of handling communication. When I speak with them on the phone, I communicate with an actual person who addresses my needs, not just a middleman who raises a support ticket.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Click Digital Solutions’ range of in-house skills and services highly impresses us — they have very good interpersonal and technical skills. I used to work in the same industry, and I can say it’s very rare to come across a company that genuinely has resources that have all the skills that they need. Other companies may say that they have them, but they will obviously use sub-contractors and freelancers.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Click Digital Solutions has exceptional services, so nothing springs to my mind. I hope they can do it for free instead of sending me an invoice, but I know that’s not possible.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be open with their team and give them as much information as possible. This helps them to come up with the right solutions for you. We’ve been an open book to them, and that has helped them understand and address our needs.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I head up the online and marketing site of LC Designs, and we have a few brands, but our main one is Stackers. Stackers is a brand that sells home and lifestyle products for women. I run all the online activities for that from the store to the market.
What challenge were you trying to address with Click Digital Solutions?
They are a development agency, so we hired them to rebuild our site last year.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They’ve helped us to materialize our new website, on both front- and backend. Our platform has a pretty standard shopping functionality, but there are a couple of customizable POS that we have to work with including enabling orders to be personalized based on their initials on their stuff and allow the customer to be able to see that as they type it.
The other thing is a "create your own functionality" where users can build the product themselves on the site using different aspects of it such as color and sizes. Then, the most complex is integrating and automating it with the DPD delivery system. With that, the order can come through and everything flows straight. Click Digital Solutions continue to provide e-commerce development services.
What is the team composition?
My main contact is Brett (Digital Consultant) and he serves as our project manager. Occasionally, I also work with John (Managing Director) whenever Brett is not available.
How did you come to work with Click Digital Solutions?
We’ve worked with them for many years, but I’m not really sure what made us choose them. We’ve got a really good relationship that I didn’t feel the need to compare Click Digital Solutions to anyone else.

We’ve spent $50,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in April 2016, and it’s ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our conversation rate went up by 25% within the first 30 days of the new site. They’re very good at what they do. We’ve had many websites developed through them because we have different franchise partners around the world.
How did Click Digital Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?
Click Digital Solutions has an excellent project management process. We use Asana and Slack to manage our day-to-day tasks.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The quality of their work has been impressive.
Are there any areas they could improve?
It would be nice if Brett could be available 24/7, but that’s not possible. They just need to expand their team and have more people involved in their projects.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be flexible with how you communicate with them and just open up new avenues to ensure the partnership’s success.
