A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am the head of engineering at a digital health startup.
What challenge were you trying to address with Clicca?
When we began our company, my co-founders and I were looking for engineers to help us develop our project.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We worked with Clicca to recruit a frontend engineer to help us develop our project. I worked with Clicca's recruiting manager to establish a general overview of the job and the skills we were looking for. We needed a frontend engineer with 2–4 years of experience in TypeScript and React framework. Whoever we hired also needed to have soft skills focused on communication and work culture.
Their recruiting manager then spent two weeks looking for candidates. Then, my team conducted two interviews a week for four weeks with Clicca's suggested candidates. We interviewed several candidates Clicca provided and then hired one for a three-month period. Once we hired an engineer, we worked with the same recruiting manager from Clicca to create a contract and negotiate the payment structure. They helped onboard the engineer to our team for a few weeks, serving as an HR and supporting our management team.
What is the team composition?
We worked with the recruiting manager and an HR representative.
How did you come to work with Clicca?
I was referred to Clicca by a friend who was working with them on another startup project. He put me in contact with the recruiting manager from Clicca, and we started working together.
How much have you invested with them?
We pay our engineer around $6,000 per month, and a percentage of that goes to Clicca as commission. Other than that, we don't pay Clicca directly.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our engagement with Clicca began in August 2021, and it's ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The new engineer we hired from Clicca has doubled our development speed and helped us meet launch deadlines. We also extended the engineer's contract indefinitely because our project is going well.
How did Clicca perform from a project management standpoint?
Overall, we're pleased with Clicca's project management. They're super timely with communications and I can schedule meetings ad hoc if I need to. I talk to the recruiting manager weekly to discuss feedback. The entire recruitment process went incredibly smoothly, and Clicca made it easy for us to schedule interviews with candidates.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Working with Clicca was seamless despite our locational differences. They found us exceptional candidates who were a good fit for our project. I'd say that no other company can find qualified candidates like Clicca — their ability to source talent combined with their pricing is excellent.
Are there any areas they could improve?
A few candidates were not up to par on some of their soft skills. We interviewed 8–9 candidates before we found the right candidate. Maybe there could've been better filtering on Clicca's end to ensure we only interviewed the top-quality candidates.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I'd advise customers to be very specific about their job specifications and candidate requirements. Also, it's essential to respond quickly to their messages and schedule interviews speedily with Clicca's candidates to ensure that customers get the right member of their team.

Staff Augmentation & HR Services for Software Company
"They’ve stood out for their communication. Communication and trust are the most important things."

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I'm the project architect for the company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Clicca?
The goal was to find competent employees because it's hard to find the right person in Thailand. We enlisted Clicca’s services to outsource developers for us.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Clicca provides us with developers. We give them the specific task we need to deal with, and they offer candidates. We interview these candidates; if it’s the right fit, we take the developer and get a contract with them. Then, they basically hand the developer to us to explain the project and some technical matters. We handle all financial business with the agency, but we take all our technical issues with the developer.
To jumpstart the process, we provide a list of requirements, which usually includes particular programming languages, frameworks, and technologies. We also give some tasks to the developers and control the results, interacting directly with them.
After recruitment, Clicca provides HR services as well. They manage the schedule and cooperate with the developers. They control how much time a specific task can take and present us the bill. Overall, they manage all HR-related issues, such as vacations, sick leaves, and more.
What is the team composition?
We’ve worked with four people from their team. The director, the manager, and the head of HR interact with us usually. We've met them and exchanged a few emails with one more.
How did you come to work with Clicca?
We were looking for an agency to outsource developers. We started looking in Ukraine because I’m originally from there. My friends recommended Clicca to me, so I tried them. We discussed all the project details. After that, we found the developers and signed contracts. We’ve been cooperating with them ever since then.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent about $200,000 so far.
What is the status of the engagement?
We began our partnership in June 2020 and are still engaged with them.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The feedback has been quite positive. We’re pretty meticulous about higher matters, so the level is quite high. We’ve hired qualified and skilled people, so we wouldn’t complain. Overall, we’ve put a lot of effort and time into this.
How did Clicca perform from a project management standpoint?
Project management is our responsibility. The developers do what they’re told, so we’re in charge of all the deadlines and automations. For example, if there’s a sprint and some particular tasks that need to be done in a month, we split them and give them to the developers. They always complete the work in time.
Overall, we know how developers work, so we know when a person spends more time than they should on a task. Therefore, we didn’t need that much bureaucracy for project management.
We communicate mostly via email and text messages.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’ve stood out for their communication. Communication and trust are the most important things when we start interacting with companies and making arrangements and contracts. It even goes before money because we’ll pay to somebody we can trust and easily communicate with.
Are there any areas they could improve?
We get everything we need, so there isn’t anything they need to improve.
Any advice for potential customers?
Just like any business, it's all about communication and trust. To move forward, be sure to ask how they’ll handle your project or any questions or concerns you have.

"They really went out of their way to resolve our issues."

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of Webristle ltd, and we focus on providing security and cloud architectural solutions to our customers. We develop all the environments where our customers build over their software solutions such as SaaS solutions.
Our focus is on providing security and infrastructure solutions so software development is not our primary business. However, if a customer needs to develop their mobile app, we can provide them with developers that can tackle their needs.
What challenge were you trying to address with clicca.agency?
Since development was not our primary business, we didn’t have developers 24/7. As a result, we engaged clicca.agency to support us in our development projects.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Typically, we would contact Andriy (Chief Business Development Officer) with the people we need for our projects, and they’d provide us with qualified people who could support us. Once they finish interviewing candidates in Ukraine, they’d choose from their shortlist. After that, they’d send people to Spain, send people directly to our customers, or work for us remotely.
The latest product that they developed was a mobile app that enabled business users to have private communication, which was similar to Telegram. However, compared to Telegram, our product had stronger encryption systems and was much more oriented to business environment needs.
During the partnership, we created the list of features we wanted to see as well as bugs we identified during their development process. The team then received our requests through their inbox so that they could execute and resolve all the tasks we gave to them.
What is the team composition?
I worked with two developers from clicca.agency, but our main point of contact was Andriy (Chief Business Development Officer).
How did you come to work with clicca.agency?
We had a common friend so we were introduced to each other. When I met them, they were very professional and they cared about our requests. They also organized everything internally and it made everything great.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent €60,000 (approximately $67,000 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from January–July 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They did a good job developing our product. As a result, we'd like to hire them again for future development tasks.
How did clicca.agency perform from a project management standpoint?
They had a great project management process, and we used Jira as our project management tool. For communication tools, we used Skype, Slack, and more Overall, they met our deadlines. In fact, it was us who were late to provide some of the required information that they asked from us.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They weren’t simply a company that planned their invoices once we brought our project to them. Instead, they really went out of their way to resolve our issues, which was a key factor why we liked working with their company.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I’ll surely recommend them to friends who need help in their development projects.

Developer Recruitment Support for Software Dev Company
“We’re satisfied with their services, and they work well for us.”
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of a software development company in Estonia, although most of our development environment is based in Ukraine. We focus on Shopify, full-stack development, and other technologies. Our company also provides outsourced development team services.
What challenge were you trying to address with clicca.agency?
We wanted to improve our recruitment capabilities, so we hired clicca.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We give the clicca team our requirements, including the kind of developers we need and the type of project we’re going to do. Then, they assign a recruitment team and an account manager to work with our interviews. They take all necessary information, and then they get back to us with a list of candidates. The team schedules interviews while making the recruitment process as simple as possible for us.
What is the team composition?
Everything goes through an account manager, who’s our main point of contact. We don’t talk directly to their recruiters.
How did you come to work with clicca.agency?
I knew one of clicca’s co-founders, and as we were trying to improve our recruitment processes, we decided to test their services. Their co-founder introduced me to the whole team, and then they shared a presentation of their services. We did our due diligence and compared their services to other companies. When we tested clicca’s services, we started with one position. After it worked and went well, we officially partnered with them. It was an easy decision for us to keep working with them.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent between $10,000–$100,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in February 2020, and the engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The clicca team finds relevant candidates that are fit for the positions we want. Other agencies simply provide candidates regardless of our technical needs for the project. On top of that, candidates and developers from clicca accept our offers more often than other agencies.
How did clicca.agency perform from a project management standpoint?
Their project management is great. Having one primary contact person makes it easy for us to share information and our requirements. Their account manager also sets up the whole process for us from sharing candidate lists to conducting interviews. If we see any need for improvement, we can tell them.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Compared with other companies that provide the same services, clicca's transparency in their processes makes it easier to work with them. They take responsibility for the majority of the recruitment process. Simply put, we’re satisfied with their services, and they work well for us.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, there aren’t any. They always handle everything well.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Listen to them, and be transparent. You’ll also see transparent flows and processes from their side — they’ll share problems with you, and you can solve such problems together. They don’t hide any issues. As a result, you should give them a chance to bring you through their process without trying to change it. Trust their experience and work together using their suggestions.
