We are a crowdsourced IT infrastructure services provider. We enable System Integrators across India and the world to deliver on the field using our curated partner network. We also enable them to access skilled resources for IT skills , for example network design, IoT development etc.

For what projects/services did your company hire ClassyServe Technologies Pvt Ltd.?

We have a internal tool which we used to manage our partners. We developed this with an in house development team some years ago. We wanted to develop V2 of the same tool, with a radical difference from our previous development hence went to ClassyServe.

What were your goals for this project?

We need a radical rethink of our current tool, designed using React and Django backend.

Well done and flexible project management team who worked around the challenges in any development process.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They maintained excellent communication and quick turn around times for bug fixing etc other than the regular development work.

Are there any areas for improvement?

They are doing a good job. Need to be able to hold on to same quality of service when they grow further.

I’m the CEO of an online career management platform.

What challenge were you trying to address with ClassyServe Technologies Pvt Ltd.?

As a brand-new company, we needed help and guidance in creating a web application.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The web app is a private login for users that lets them enter the platform and log their career accomplishments. I wanted it to be user-friendly for both desktop and mobile users. I also wanted a platform that would let me easily make changes from the admin side. 

I already had UX designs created by a third-party UX designer. I gave those to ClassyServe Technologies Pvt Ltd., and they brought it to life using Django. They understood what I needed and made sure that I could go in and make edits afterward.

What is the team composition?

I’ve worked with a project manager, the company’s founder, and now a maintenance person.

How did you come to work with ClassyServe Technologies Pvt Ltd.?

A connection from WeWork Labs recommended them to me. My connection had actually met with them in person and had so many good things to say about them. That made me feel really good about choosing to work with ClassyServe Technologies Pvt Ltd. 

What I also liked about them is that it seemed like they were passionate about startups and the ideas behind them. Other developers I met with wanted to cut down my ideas without really hearing what I was saying. ClassyServe Technologies Pvt Ltd. was different. They listened to me, understood my needs, and were invested in delivering a high-quality product.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent about $7,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in May 2019, and ClassyServe Technologies Pvt Ltd. continues to provide support.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’re seeing a decent amount of usage already. There’s still work to do on my end involving marketing to raise usage to the levels we want. However, I’d say that the end product delivered by ClassyServe Technologies Pvt Ltd. meets all the requirements of what we’re looking for. 

As soon as we collect all our feedback from users and come up with our next steps, I’ll bring ClassyServe Technologies Pvt Ltd. back in to make those updates.

How did ClassyServe Technologies Pvt Ltd. perform from a project management standpoint?

Whenever something comes up, they immediately get on a Skype call with me to respond to any issues. They’re highly responsive even when we’re not in an active sprint. It’s really great having that support. Plus, using Skype’s video chat, I really feel like we’re a team working together.

There’s a slight language barrier. However, ClassyServe Technologies Pvt Ltd. is so great at communicating that it hasn't been a problem for me.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I love their responsiveness, but what really sets ClassyServe Technologies Pvt Ltd. apart for me is the head of their company. He has a great attitude about working together with clients and getting things done. He always reassures me whenever a problem comes up that ClassyServe Technologies Pvt Ltd. will figure it out. I feel assured as a client working with him. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I need to go back and make things on the Django a little cleaner and more organized if I want other employees and people to feel comfortable navigating the backend. That’s definitely something we can improve upon as time goes on.

Any advice for potential customers?

Translating my third-party UX designer’s work into a usable format for ClassyServe Technologies Pvt Ltd. was a challenge. Looking back, I’d definitely use ClassyServe Technologies Pvt Ltd. from beginning to end. I was very lucky that they were great at picking up all the pieces and putting them together.

I'm the founder and CIO of Perissos Private Wealth Management.

What challenge were you trying to address with ClassyServe Technologies?

We were looking for a software developer to provide a front- and backend to the algorithm I had created.

What was the scope of their involvement?

I built a simple backend, so I could go in and change some of the code or backtest certain parameters. I wanted to enable end users to run that same algorithm and stress-test it. ClassyServe helped me build the frontend and rewrite a lot of the backend, using Python. I'd like to add more user capabilities, so ClassyServe is currently helping me with a behavioral questionnaire for financial advisors.

What is the team composition?

I worked with about three members of their team, including their co-founder and a couple of software engineers.

How did you come to work with ClassyServe Technologies?

I posted a job on LinkedIn and I heard back from a few firms. At first, we chose a less expensive company, but they couldn't complete the work. So we went back to ClassyServe and had a Skype call with them. They seemed very knowledgeable, so we chose them.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent about $5,000–$6,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

The project started in January and it was completed in March 2018. I'm adding more features to the software, so they're working on another project for me now.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They've taken on a very complex project and built the software in a way that is visual, helping my business tremendously.

How did ClassyServe Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?

They adhered to their timeline and stayed within the budget they had quoted, even when things turned out more complex than we had planned. We mostly used Skype to communicate. They're based in India, but they worked with our schedule, so we didn't have any problems with the time difference.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They're able to take an idea, fine-tune it, and translate it into reality. If they see any problems with an initial idea, they relay them to me in a way I can understand, even though I'm not a developer. They've also done a lot of research and helped me identify low-cost solutions.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can't think of anything.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Have a good idea of what you want to accomplish and communicate it to them as clearly as possible. They'll do their best to stay within your timeline and budget.
