We are a Dental Clinic located in Montreal, Quebec. I am the Manager of the clinic.
For what projects/services did your company hire Chowdhury Aktar & Associates?
We needed help with setting up an HR structure within the company. We didn't have an employee handbook, the onboarding process, recruitment structure, and so on.
What were your goals for this engagement?
The goal was to create a company culture and a system to attract new candidates and making sure the current employees are satisfied working with us.
How did you select Chowdhury Aktar & Associates?
We looked at multiple Human Resource consulting firms we found on google. As a local business, we're cautious not to spend too much on something that wouldn't have a positive ROI in the end.
We selected Chowdhury Aktar & Associates based on their reputation in the Montreal area, online reviews, and previous client testimonies. Also, factors like cost, communication style, and their team played a part in the decision.
Describe the engagement in detail.
The first step was to create an employee handbook to which all new employees would have access too. The second was to create an onboarding process to ensure that we didn't waste too much time on unnecessary things and training when new employees are hired. Recruiting new candidates was also part of the project as we were only relying on job boards and social media, but Chowdhury Aktar & Associates has a big database with qualified candidates.

Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?
We now have a process from the beginning, which saves us a substantial amount of time. With the new onboarding process, we can clarify any questions or concerns new employees may have initially, which also saves us and the new employee time.
Also, now we don't have to waste our time going to unqualified resumes. We get resumes already prescreened by Chowdhury Aktar & Associates that perfectly fit what we are looking for.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The workflow between our teams has been great. They are very open and timely in terms of feedback.
Whenever we run into a wall, they are always there to make sure to put us back on the right track. They are always making sure to be up to date with where we are and where we are heading so they can customize their work plan to fit our needs.
What did you find most impressive about this vendor?
What I found the most impressive is their work process and communication. They are always on time and as we are open 7 days a week from 9 am till 9 pm they always made sure someone was available to us during our business hours.
Are there any areas for improvement?
At this point in time, they are doing everything right.

I am the President of a cleaning and maintenance service company headquartered in Montreal, Canada. From humble beginnings, in 2006, we have grown into one of Montreal's leading cleaning service providers.

We wanted to restructure and adapt to the new ways of doing business. We had noticed a steady decline in sales in the past few years. We decided to bring in a management consulting company to help us rebuild and restructure to grow and become one of the leading cleaning service providers again.

We wanted to rebrand our image and implement a new business strategy. We also wanted to bring in new commercial clients.

After signing the agreement with Chowdhury Aktar & Associates, we had a series of discovery meetings to discuss our goals and objective. Within the first 7 days, we received a full analysis of the business and which direction we should be heading to obtain our objectives and goals.
From there, we started implementing all the changes that were communicated to us to grow our business.
What was the team composition?
Once we selected Chowdhury Aktar & Associates, we had our first introduction meeting to meet the team assigned to us. The team consisted of 1 Project Manager, 1 Web Designer, 1 Frontend Developer, 1 Backend Developer, 1 Graphic Designer, 1 Business Consultant, 1 Bookkeeper and 1 Administrative Assistant.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Within the first 3 months, we were getting 3x the number of information requests from new clients. We now have an online presence, which we didn't have previously.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The workflow between us has been outstanding. 6 months in, and we are continuously working with Chowdhury Aktar & Associates. We couldn't be happier.

I was blown away by the team's knowledge, but most importantly, they are always ready to help and do whatever it takes to make sure we are satisfied and worry-free.

We regularly make connections across the city, and even offer transportation services to outlying regions within Quebec. These include the following regions and many more: Chambly, Drummondville, Sherbrooke, and Quebec City. We are also proud to service the Ottawa and Maritime regions. Connections are made with regularity in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. Our Montreal facility can also warehouse fish and seafood products destined for export to China.

We needed help with our employee training, and as we do not have the right certifications to provide Health and Safety Training, we bought in Chowdhury Aktar & Associates to provide us with that service.

Our goal was to make sure all our employees were trained and knowledgeable about the current laws, regulations, and standards.

We looked at multiple training companies via Google. Many of the training company did not have the same flexibility as Chowdhury Aktar & Associates when it came to prices, scheduling, and training materials. They offer a variety of training programs and provide the best plan for the company’s needs, and that made us decide to go with Chowdhury Aktar & Associates.
Describe the engagement in detail.
They come to your facility with all the necessary equipment and training materials. The training they offer is in standard with all Canadian government laws and regulations. After the theory part, they also do practical training and provide you with a feed at the end of the preparation for future reference.
What was the team composition?
When you first get in touch with them, they assign you an account manager that is in your territory. The territory manager gets all the details regarding the service you need and then assigns an instructor.
Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?
Knowing that they have all the necessary certifications, gave us peace of mind. They got back to us within 24 hours with a link to their training schedule, and I was able to book a date based on my availabilities. They use a scheduling system that works perfectly as we do not need to do back and forth to select a date and time.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The flow between us was amazing. We loved how they were ready to listen to all our needs and wants. They even took the time and created specific training and plan based on our business for us without any extra cost.
What did you find most impressive about this vendor?
What was most impressive is that they are available to you 24/7 365. When we need training at night, they are there as much as when we need it during the daytime.
Are there any areas for improvement?
Overall, they offer a 10/10 service if they can improve something would be to provide training for bigger machinery.
