Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder of a small studio focused on alternative, tech-oriented projects.
What challenge were you trying to address with Chillstudio.co?
We needed help with UX design for an application we developed for our latest game. We also needed moderations for the game itself.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We discussed the specifications and we came up with the layout of the site, including different information and different pages. They mostly handled the graphic design and the UX for that. For the illustrations, we had a pipeline of work that needed to get done, which involved the setting and research for the time period. They took it upon themselves to do the research and provide suggestions for everything that had to do with the UI.
What is the team composition?
I work with Gerard (User Experience Designer), and the work is carried out by the rest of the team.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent less than $10,000. It wasn’t a fulltime job so that factors in, too.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in June 2019, and we wrapped up in June 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Overall, we’re really happy with the direction we’re taking. They provided great additions to our work.
How did Chillstudio.co perform from a project management standpoint?
We communicate via Trello and sometimes via phone.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They really provided a lot of knowledge we didn’t have. They were much more helpful than we expected them to be and they were very creative.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They were fairly new when we worked together, so anything I have to say now is probably not going to apply to them right now.
