MOJOMOX Re-Branding Campaign
Startup MOJOMOX.com is a modern DIY branding and graphic design platform for startups and marketers. The team wanted a brand awareness campaign created focusing on keywords related to their business, such as 'branding'.
The Cherry team ran a national survey asking 3,000 respondents: 'If your state flag were to be re-branded, how do you think it should look?' In a collaborative effort, 50 alternative state flags were designed and distributed to key media along with a press release and interactive asset. Over 30 pieces of press coverage were achieved - example coverage below:

Solitaired.com 'Who Wants to be a Millionaire'
What does it mean to be a ‘millionaire’ nowadays? While a family living in San Francisco’s Bay Area may own more than $1 million in assets (indeed, median house prices there are $1.3 million), they can hardly claim a millionaire status as they may struggle to afford to raise a family in such an expensive area, particularly as the current inflation runs at 7%.
Because of this, those striving towards millionaire financial status have to aim higher than having a million dollars in assets as nowadays, as owning this amount can no longer grant you a ‘millionaire’ lifestyle. So the question remains, how much do everyday Americans consider you would need to own to live a millionaire lifestyle? It’s a question that Cherry Digital posed to 4,859 respondents for gaming site Solitaired.com in order to generate high authority backlinks to the client's website. It was a highly successful campaign, with example coverage below:

The team at Cherry Digital were asked to outreach a highly detailed fitness campaign across the U.S. for the world’s leading strength training resource and news outlet BarBend.com. The focus of the campaign was to compare the fitness levels in the majority of cities within each state.
The campaign was highly successful achieving coverage in both national and local press with many links back to the BarBend website coverage on MSN, The Miami Herald, Patch, CBS 7, Times Free Press and The Daily Voice to name a few. The detail of the campaign itself meant that we were able to achieve coverage in many local publications across the states in the US. Over 250 pieces of coverage and backlinks achieved.

Security Baron's Safest Cities Campaign
The team at Cherry Digital were approached by Security Baron to generate press coverage across the nation. Armed with data from studies conducted by Security Baron ranking the safest cities in each state, we created a press release that depicted this data, with a particular focus on where the best places are to live and work.
The campaign was a real success and we achieved coverage in 300+ publications in different states across the US, with a focus on the acronym E.A.T in terms of web page quality. The links gained were mainly dofollow links, which are traditionally considered the strongest links that can be obtained online.

Backlink Campaign & Media Monitoring for Niche Site Business
“They’ve met my expectations; I’ve never felt like I’m in the dark while dealing with them.”
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder of a niche website that publishes articles and shares programs, which is the main source of my traffic. I monetize the website through affiliate links and display ads.
What challenge were you trying to address with Cherry Digital?
Cherry Digital helped me increase the number of backlinks that were pointing to my site for SEO improvements.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Initially, I reached out to Cherry to let them know my goals. We brainstormed a couple of ideas for a campaign, and we eventually settled on one that would be feasible and appealing to news outlets. After that, I gathered data and organized it for Cherry. They then created infographics around the data to make it more appealing.
The team also created press releases and outreach plans. In other words, I didn’t do anything other than supplying the data they used for the story. From there, they took care of the outreach while monitoring the coverage of our campaign.
What is the team composition?
I mainly work with one person. However, I’ve also worked with a technical person while building the infographic on my site. A third person has also helped us with coverage monitoring.
How did you come to work with Cherry Digital?
They were referred to me by a person who ran a similar website.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent around $3,500.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in January 2021, and the engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’ve made 20 pieces of coverage for this campaign, and more than half of those have resulted in backlinks. For instance, we’ve gained over 10 new referring and linking domains. In terms of the business impact, it’s hard to quantify the links’ real value. However, my business has been growing during this campaign. I partly attribute that growth to the links we’ve built.
Overall, I don’t want to shell out a bunch of money for something that I’m not sure about. I want to achieve some basic results, and Cherry has met that expectation.
How did Cherry Digital perform from a project management standpoint?
Cherry communicates everything pretty smoothly. We don’t have a solid timetable, but everything has been reasonable. They’ve met my expectations; I’ve never felt like I’m in the dark while dealing with them. Overall, everything is good, and I’m happy in the process.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Cherry has taken a niche dataset from me and acquired a decent amount of mainstream coverage. In fact, the deliverable has been picked up by popular media sites. In other words, they’ve found an interesting local angle from the dataset and made it appealing to news outlets — I’m impressed with that.
Are there any areas they could improve?
If I’m going to run another campaign with them, I don’t want to get the dataset by myself again. That being said, I’ve offered to do this in our first project, so I don’t hold it against them.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
If you’re in a relatively narrow niche, it helps to bring something to the table in terms of brainstorming. On top of that, be creative in terms of how you might access data.
For instance, in our engagement, if I wasn’t able to provide them with the data, Cherry would’ve come up with something to make the campaign work. However, I’m not sure if it would be as effective as when I provided such data.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m in the C-Suite of a publishing company. We publish high-quality, owned and operated content that educates enthusiasts on various topics.
What challenge were you trying to address with Cherry Digital?
We needed publicity because we wanted to get the word out about our products and services in a high-quality way.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Cherry Digital did custom digital PR. They also helped with outreach and content development, and they also assisted with social media, which was optional.
What is the team composition?
We typically have one point of contact, but there are 2–3 teammates involved in the mix.
How did you come to work with Cherry Digital?
They were referred to us by a satisfied client of theirs.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent somewhere in the five figures.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working with them in August 2019, and our engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
It’s been successful. We got really great attention from the press, and we also got great coverage and awareness. Their content and outreach were high-quality and top-tier, which led to us continuing the relationship with them.
How did Cherry Digital perform from a project management standpoint?
If something needs to change, we can request it from them, or they can also provide us with suggestions. The communication is easy because we have one point of contact, with ancillary support. It’s an open dialogue.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their quality is great. They exceed expectations for attention and awareness.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I have no suggestions.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Trust their judgment and don’t micromanage. Listen to them and use their guidance because they know what they’re doing. Don’t hesitate to recommend them.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder of a press release distribution service.
What challenge were you trying to address with Cherry Digital?
I engaged with them to work on my website and a few different campaigns.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They created a PR piece for my business and guaranteed coverage in certain publications. They surveyed 3,000 people, created a press release based on the findings, and then accredited it to my business when they distributed the story to several publications in the US and UK.
What is the team composition?
I spoke with three people working on this project.
How did you come to work with Cherry Digital?
I found them through Google. I talked to a number of companies, but Cherry Digital stood out because they guaranteed the coverage.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent £5,000 (approximately $6,500 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
This project was in March 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We were covered by 12 well-known publications, and they all linked back to my website. Everything was over-delivered. I was very happy with their service.
How did Cherry Digital perform from a project management standpoint?
Their communication was amazing. We corresponded over email.
What did you find most impressive about them?
When they promised something, they over-deliver. That, and their communication was excellent.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No; it was perfect.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I’d definitely recommend them to anyone looking to build links and coverage.

SEO & Content Marketing Services for Pet Supplies Company
“They did an exceptional job of getting very compliant and trustworthy articles.”
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of a pet supplies company. We’ve been in business for over 15 years and have scaled tremendously in the last 3–4 years.
What challenge were you trying to address with Cherry Digital?
In our then-current market space, media buying was very challenging. We had to move into a more pragmatic solution that was SEO-based and that was PR with digital placement. Our team was cannibalizing our keywords.
What was the scope of their involvement?
When we brought Cherry Digital on, the objective was to have a larger reach with the media. They created campaigns to bring us into the spotlight and establish us as the leader in the pet health and wellness sector.
What is the team composition?
I’ve worked with about 3–4 of their team members.
How did you come to work with Cherry Digital?
We were searching for media companies that specialize in PR in the unconventional route of getting our blogs to be indexed on media channels. Their name came up during this search. I interviewed them, and they weren’t pushy; they were hands-on and thought of great strategies.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested $15,000–$20,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our ongoing engagement started in April 2019.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They did an exceptional job of getting very compliant and trustworthy articles as well as news media to pingback to us, which was critical. SEO is an ever-growing process and it’s just one of the tools in our chest that helps. Media placement is critical to getting yourself out there, especially to leverage the asset and scale it, it’s a very valuable tool.
How did Cherry Digital perform from a project management standpoint?
There have been minor discrepancies in spelling because they’re based in England so some words are different from American English. However, they’ve been more than willing to change it right away. Their team is very approachable and understanding of the necessary changes. Those changes typically take under 24–48 hours max.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The easiest thing about working with Cherry Digital is that they come up with a strategy for the campaign so I don’t have to think about possible viral news media that can be picked up by the outlets. They give us 3–5 topics that could possibly have a great impact and then let us choose which one we’d like to run with. They make things easy for us so the pitch deck is simplified.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I’ve been very happy with their work.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Don’t hesitate to engage with them. Cherry Digital is very hands-on. Just keep in mind that their language is slightly different as well as how the different culture could affect another culture if you’re based outside of the UK.

Content Marketing & Link-Building for Media Company
“We value them tremendously and think their prices are fair.”
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the president of BarBend. We’re a media company focused on strength sports. We run our own brand, create our own content, and monetize the sponsored content and affiliate relationships.
What challenge were you trying to address with Cherry Digital?
We brought them on for link-building efforts.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We’ve done about 15 projects with them. In every one, they handle outreach efforts to organizations in efforts to highlight content on our site. They’ve also worked with us to create the content either through surveying, creating infographics for written content, or a combination of all those things to highlight with the outreach.
What is the team composition?
We work with 2–3 team members per project.
How did you come to work with Cherry Digital?
They were referred to me by a friend.
How much have you invested with them?
It ranges depending on the size of the project. Smaller projects are about $4,000 and in comparison, our largest project was $40,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our ongoing engagement started in January 2017.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We consider them a great resource for link building. They’re our number-one source because they do great outreach and get us real links with traffic that highlight the content on our site really well. We value them tremendously and think their prices are fair.
How did Cherry Digital perform from a project management standpoint?
We communicate exclusively by email and occasionally by phone calls.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The quality of their work has been unmatched in comparison to other companies I’ve worked with. What’s more, they’re genuinely nice people. We enjoy working with them as well as talking through any issues we may have. Their team has always been very good to us and reasonable.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, we’re very happy with what they do for us.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
They’re consistent and always deliver what they say they will. But with the nature of outreach, some projects work better than others. It’s worth it to test and do multiple projects and then scale on the projects that work really well. Take the time to find the right topic and approach, and then once it works, double down on it.
The campaign has generated more than 20 pieces of coverage from the media and over 10 referred domain links. Cherry Digital has helped the company achieve business growth during the campaign, generating good media attention for the campaign. Overall, the engagement has been executed successfully.
