I an the founder and director of a non profit that creates harmony between Israel and the Christian community based on our love of the Bible and Israel. We engage in education and fundraising.
For what projects/services did your company hire Chai Digital Community Builders?
We hired them to help build our brand including our brand voice, target audience, vision and mission statement. They were also hired to implement the strategy on different digital platforms using the branding process that we engaged in and apply it in a practical way.
What were your goals for this project?
Our goal was to create a consistent and clear message. We also wanted to build our audience by offering content that reflected our message in a way that was predictable and understandable to our audience. Another goal was to create systems that we could implement in our marketing plan---a content schedule.
How did you select Chai Digital Community Builders?
We met with different agencies and picked Chai Digital for a few reasons.
First of all, they were very friendly and easy to get along with. You cannot underestimate the importance of enjoying the people you are working with.
Second, their presentation was professional with specific examples and they were able to answer our questions.
Third, they shared their experience with us which gave us confidence that they would be able to help us succeed.
Fourth, we met with 2 people in our initial meeting--they both had different skills which again gave us confidence that all of our needs would be met.
Fifth and perhaps most important is that they gave us very specific deliverables. Other companies we spoke with were kind of vague but Chai gave us specific deliverables in writing.
Describe the scope of their work in detail.
We began with a process of discovery, both for them and for us. We had to answer lots of questions which helped us really focus on the critical points for our marketing plan.
The questions were VERY specific which helped really drill down what we are about, what we want to achieve, who we are trying to reach, what we would call success. Using these questions/discussions we then were able to craft a vision and mission statement. This took 2-3 weeks.
After that we started to apply all that we had done to our marketing. For example, based on the outcome of the branding we were able to choose colors, fonts, styles, terminology, social media schedules, post ideas etc. Chai took over our Facebook and started building a schedule and collaborated with us on our posts.
They produced beautiful and appealing posts consistent with our branding. Next they began building our Instagram audience which grew from day one. On our social media platforms they also managed responding to comments in a timely manner with quality comments.
We had weekly meetings where we spent about an hour or so going over what was working and brainstorming ideas. At these meetings they presented a well organized document with the statistics that we needed.
In addition to the weekly meeting, they were available via WhatsApp, phone, email regularly to collaborate.
What was the team composition?
I worked with the owner and her closest colleague. They were a great team and each had different strengths that suited the work.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
- We have an excellent vision and mission statement
- Our social media audience has grown DRAMATICALLY
- The beauty and aesthetic of everything we do is consistent based on templates set up as a result of the branding.
- We know what to do each day to connect to our audience.
- The branding/social media has resulted in us being able to raise more money for our non-profit mission.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Excellent. As mentioned above we had a long weekly meeting and we were in touch daily via messaging, phone, email etc.I never felt that they were ever unreachable. Due to the nature of our non-profit, it often meant being available weekends and after hours and they were great at responding to the needs of the organization.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
They were always available, happy to help, highly professional, responsive and produced quality work.
Are there any areas for improvement?
I honestly can't think of anything. They provided exactly what we needed and we were thrilled to work with Chai.
