Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the finance manager at B-Plan Information Systems Ltd.
What challenge were you trying to address with Cash Cow Marketing?
Our CEO and I were looking into targeting people who were the decision-makers within our NHS in the UK that required business intelligence.
What was the scope of their involvement?
The team at Cash Cow Marketing ran our entire process. They called various decision-makers and scheduled meetings with them.
What is the team composition?
My main points of contact were Clive (Managing Director & Owner), Tom (Telemarketing Manager), and another point person. While Tom and his colleague gave me a lot of feedback, I spoke to Clive a majority of the time.
How did you come to work with Cash Cow Marketing?
I believe it was through an online search on telemarketing. I wanted to work with Cash Cow Marketing because they’re based locally. In turns out that Clive used to work in the same building as our company. I might’ve even met him previously.
How much have you invested with them?
In total, we spent between £2,000–£3,000 (approximately $2,500–$3,700 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from May–December 2019.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The team at Cash Cow Marketing booked between 5–10 meetings for us. It ended up being too complex for us to break into the market, but their team did exactly what we wanted them to do. It ended up saving us time. Now we’re working out who we should be targeting, but after, we will plan on using Cash Cow Marketing’s services again.
How did Cash Cow Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?
The team was responsive to phone calls and emails.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I’ve never been involved with marketing, so I was impressed with their entire workflow. My CEO changed his mind a lot, but their team ran with it and had no issues. It’s difficult when things change frequently, but they were still able to meet our goals.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I wish I’d known in the beginning that they could send transcripts of the phone calls. This was my first time working with a telemarketing company, so I didn’t realize that was an option. We could’ve worked closer with them, but now I know that’s available.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Face-to-face meetings are beneficial. It’s hard to do everything over the phone or email. I found the in-person meetings with Clive very helpful.
