Branding and Web Design for Educational Nonprofit
"Website impressions have gone up drastically since the redesign."

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the executive director of an education nonprofit organization. We focus on education equity.
What challenges were you trying to address with Campfire Branding?
We wanted to modernize our brand and website to represent who we are as a company.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We operated off a legacy model from 2014. We had grown a lot since then though, so we needed to do a big update to our brand, user interface, and website. They came in and talked to us about our company. We first flushed out the new brand identity. We went through a couple of iterations of logos and added new colors to the branding materials. Once we solidified our brand, they went on to redesigning the website. This included adding new landing pages and changing the layout to improve user experience.
What is the team composition?
Jenna (Creative Director) was my main point of contact.
How did you come to work with Campfire Branding?
I’ve actually known Jenna for a long time; we’re childhood friends. I looked into several different web design and branding agencies that I knew. We originally just worked on the logo with them, and they exceeded expectations, so we decided to move forward with the website design too.
How much have you invested in them?
We spent between $2,500–$3,00, but I also helped her with strategic planning work in exchange for some of their services.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from January–July 2019.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Website impressions have gone up drastically since the redesign. I think website traffic has increased by around 73%. We also have more branding materials, including stickers that many of our collaborators have on their laptops and they look really good.
How did Campfire Branding perform from a project management standpoint?
They exceeded expectations. Jenna did a good job about keeping the project on track while remaining flexible.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re well-rounded. The team is both logical and analytical while remaining creative. There are few design companies I’ve worked with that can achieve that same balance.
Are there any areas they could improve?
It would be nice to have more analytics support, but that’s not totally in their realm, so I can’t fault them for that.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Trust the process. They have a well-established system for delivering tasks. However, don’t be afraid to ask questions and bring up new topics. Open communication is really important.

Ongoing Branding & Design for Events Group
"We love partnering with them and will continue to do so for many years."

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the director of events at Atlanta Beer Festivals. We hold regular beer-related events.
What challenge were you trying to address with Campfire Branding?
We do over 20 events every year, and we were looking for someone who could design unique logos for each of them.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Jenna (Creative Director, Campfire Branding) designs our logos every year, creating new iterations of each one annually. She’s also created new images and content for our social media platforms as well as our company logo, signage, banners, visual graphics, and other collateral material.
As we add new events, Jenna provides new designs.
What is the team composition?
We work exclusively with Jenna.
How did you come to work with Campfire Branding?
The engagement began before I joined the company.
How much have you invested with them?
So far, we’ve spent $100,000 on Campfire Branding’s services.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in May 2010, and the engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Jenna has a strong sense of who we are as a company and is able to incorporate that into each logo. Her work has absolutely contributed to ticket sales over the years, and it definitely captures customers’ attention as they scroll through events in Atlanta. Her graphics and images are fun, unique, and stand out from others’ in the city.
We love partnering with her and will continue to do so for many years.
How did Campfire Branding perform from a project management standpoint?
Jenna is proactive about setting deadlines and often finishes her work ahead of them. If there’s ever a time we need something by the end of the day, she’s quick to respond and provide us with what we need.
We use Google Docs to keep in contact about timelines and progress. She uses other platforms as well, which I have access to but don’t typically monitor.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We’re really impressed with how well Jenna has come to understand our brand. She always knows what we’re looking for and is able to execute what we need. Often, the first iterations of designs are great and need very few changes.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, she’s done really well.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Do your best to communicate who your brand is and what you’re looking for. If Campfire Branding knows all the different aspects of your company, they’ll do a really great job portraying that in their images and graphics.

Web Dev, Design & Branding for Architectural Firm
"They were good communicators and well-organized."

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the Senior Vice President and CFO at an architecture and engineering design firm.
What challenge were you trying to address with Campfire Branding?
We wanted assistance with devising a new branding strategy, as well as website development and design.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Campfire Branding developed a new website for us since our current site was outdated. They designed a new logo, tagline, and gave us a style guide. They provided us with templates and letterhead that incorporated the new brand. Additionally, they provided copywriting services for the new site.
What is the team composition?
My main point of contact was Jenna (Creative Director, Campfire Branding). She brought on one other person from her internal team and hired a few freelancers to work on specific aspects of the project.
How did you come to work with Campfire Branding?
I did a Google search for designers near me. I reached out to two firms, but I liked Jenna’s approach and so I wanted to work with her.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent around $53,000 on their services.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in October 2018, and we wrapped up in August 2019.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Previously, our customers were always telling us that we needed to update our website because they couldn’t tell if we were still in business based on how outdated it was. After working with Campfire Branding, we received positive feedback.
How did Campfire Branding perform from a project management standpoint?
They were good communicators and well-organized. The team that Jenna brought on was talented and helped fill in the pieces that she didn’t do herself. The process was very clear. When there were some bugs with the site, we brought them to their attention and they were remedied.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I’ve never worked with a branding or web development firm, so I can’t compare their performance to other vendors. However, it was a positive experience.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Nothing really sticks out.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
It’s important to have a clear cut process and have one person from your company be in communication with them.
As a result of Campfire Branding’s work, the nonprofit’s website traffic increased by around 73%. The team at Campfire Branding was communicative, creative, and organized. They’ve proven to be exceptional collaborators and great long term partners.
