A Drop in in Bounce Rate by 60%
Among the Top Rated Yoga Retreats in the World
Floating Leaf Eco-Luxury Retreat is a retreat center in Bali, Indonesia. They accommodate mostly yoga instructors and other wellness professionals who want to bring a group to Bali for 7-14 day wellness and cultural retreats.
The retreat has been named among the best retreats in the world by Harpers Bazaar and the world’s best yoga and wellness retreat by Conde Nast Traveller. It is truly a remarkable place and our objective was to build a website that not only reflected the unique beauty of Floating Leaf, but to enhance the user experience that would lead to more guest bookings.
A Website that Honors the Brand
Floating Leaf is hands down, one of the best retreat centers in the world; however, the website was a poor reflection of the quality of the center, its award-winning staff and amazing cultural experiences. It was far too busy and confused customers who tried to find their way to booking a retreat. Users were getting confused and leaving the site in favor of competitors who were not as good as Floating Leaf.
Our job was to build a website and user experience that appealed to their core customer base and one that would represent the high-quality, luxury and extraordinary experiences one would receive while in Bali, at Floating Leaf.
A Higher Conversion Rate
Three months after the website was launched, we evaluated the data to determine how the website was performing. In every category the site was dong better. Bounce rate drpped by over 60%, pages per visit increased by 3 and time on site doubled.
Useres were now finding the website a much better user experience and are engaging with Floating Leaf at a much higher satisfaction rate. Profits for Foating Leaf continue to increase as a result of a better user experience.

Creative Design forExciting New Markets
The Client
The burgeoning Cannabis industry is a highly regulated business, yet has become very competitive in a very short while. Greenlink sells software that helps local dispensaries manage their product, sales, inventory and government compliance.
Most of the Cannabis management software companies have robust websites with a detailed list of features, price points and case studies. Greenlink wanted Cabaretti to build a site that would allow them to be competitive with these competitors.
The Objective
Our objectives were simple; to build a good looking site that is attractive and intuitive for users. It would also have to highlight the unique features of Greenlink to give them a competitive advantage.
There current website was a sample, half-finished landing page with little information that was beneficial to the visitor. It simply linked to a demo of their software.
Challenges
Our biggest challenge is that we had little to start with, but the clients have a developer background and were very helpful with getting us the information we needed to design and develop a beautiful website that met their needs.
We were also limited to a single page website whereas most of their competitors have much bigger sites with multiple pages that could project them as bigger, more established companies.
The Result
With the client’s help and guidance, we were able to create a beautiful site that outshines their competition. We made a couple other pages to highlight software features and for bios of the software developers. Regardless, the single page layout gives the impression that the company is established and represents the software well.
The site shows as it is supposed to on all devices, operating systems and browsers. No matter what screen size users are viewing the site, the get an optimal website experience.

Landing Pages, Analytics and UX
The World’s Largest Producer of Organic Coconut Sugar
Referred to Cabaretti (then, Web Groovin) by creative branding agency, Elami.co, Big Tree Farms is the largest producer of organic coconut sugar in the world. They have the world’s largest and most sustainable coconut supply chain, impacting over 14,000 organic farmers throughout Indonesia. They distribute their product in health food chains throughout North America such as Costco, Sprouts and Whole Foods as well as online stores such as Amazon and iHerb.
Analytics for Actionable Insights and Profitable Outcomes
Big Tree Farms hired Cabaretti to analyze and consult with co-founder and Chief Innovation Officer, Frederick Schilling, to help improve website performance through user experience observation and data analysis.
We also initiated a Google Ads campaign that was eventually paused because Big Tree Farms stopped selling products directly on their website. We continued advising them on traffic to their website as well as user activity.
A Better User Experience
We first dug into their Google Analytics and saw misconfigurations in their set up that was giving them inaccurate information. We made necessary changes and continued to observe user activity.
Noticing that products on their website did not link directly to their product pages on Amazon or iHerb, but rather to general product pages, we decided to conduct user research and usability tests to see what other friction points there were in the buyer journey.
As a result of the testing, we made changes to the landing pages to ensure specific products on the website linked directly to the same product purchase page at Amazon and other eCommerce stores. This cut down on buyer confusion and eliminated extra steps in the purchase process.

improving User Experience & Flow for Bali's Renowned Institution
The Green School project was unique in the sense that it was not a typical website design project, but rather a web portal. We built two pages. The first was an attractive login page that would give teachers, students and parents specific access to particular tools and resources that were only available to each particular group.
The second page creatively lists all resources and gives membership access to each resource depending on certain permissions. The page therefore is private access only.
Objectives:
We had specific instructions by the client and had to comply with strict guidelines. We worked with their in-house technical team as well as administrators. We had to meet specific deadlines set by the client depending on school activities.
The platform continues to work flawlessly today.
Challenges:
The biggest challenges for this design was to add the unique features required by the client. There are particular access restrictions and usage requirements for the page. Though it was only a single page, it was highly customized project that required a lot of detail.
Meeting the deadlines while customizing code and features for specific functionality was also a challenge we met. The client was easy to work with and provided the necessary information for a successful completion.
The platform shows perfectly on all devices and pages load quickly.
Results:
Feedback from parents, faculty, staff and students has been excellent. All find the platform intuitive and easy-to-use. To date, there have been no malfunctions and the site continues to serve its purpose.

Bringing the Clients Vision to Life
The main task for this project was to build a website from scratch with the clients branded colors and design preferences. The client assumed total control over all content, including text and images. Our job was to put their vision into a format that would be clean and easy to navigate for their clients.
Objective:
Build a clean and intuitive website that would help to communicate the client’s message and offer to the visitor. The client also wanted us to give a clear understanding of the company mission, goals and objective as well as incorporate the bios of the primary principles of the company so visitors would know what they were all about.
Challenges:
Cabaretti prefers to have some control over content, but in this case, the client wanted to manage their own. Our challenge therefore, was to take their content and work it into a design that would represent and support their message. Calls-to-actions and compelling titles as well as descriptive and clear messaging was out of our control.
This project became a simple design and development project, using their content, which did not always arrive before we need to initiate the design.
Results:
Since we had little control over the content, much of the success of this project relied on the feedback from the client. We were delighted to hear that the client was thrilled with the design and how it represented their values. Colors matched their preferences, users found it easy to navigate and information is displayed in a clear, yet concise manner.

Solving Problems to Create a Better User Experience
Ski House Swap is a paid membership platform that allows skiers and snowboarders who own a home near a resort to exchange that home with homeowners in other locations. Members must already have either the Epic or Ikon seasonal ski pass as exchanges are only available at resorts that participate in one of the passes.
Objective:
Cabaretti was originally hired to manage the user experience of this project as there was developer who initiated this project. It was originally designed by the client. As Cabaretti become more involved, we were able to demonstrate our expertise and take over the development as project managers.
We worked closely with the lead developer and the client to implement their requests with our own developer and design team. Our objective was to see that the development was completed in time for the 2019 ski season.
Challenges:
Our biggest challenge was to learn the code that was highly customized from the original developer and complete all objectives within his framework.
We also had to work within the client’s vision to implement solutions that would achieve his objective, yet do them in a way that maintained a high degree of usability and intuitiveness.
Performance:
The website was indeed launched in Beta format for the 2019 ski season and the client has retained Cabaretti to do ongoing maintenance, upgrades and improvement. Though we are not involved in the marketing directly, we help to provide good user experiences, taking feedback from users and the client to make usability improvements.
The website continues to gain members on a steady basis and Cabaretti continually monitors progress and finds ways to make the website better. We have a close relationship with the client and are happy to work with him to make this project profitable.

A Tedx Speaker & an Engaging Team Builder
Clients hire Stix Music to provide an interactive and team building session at conferences, workshops and corporate events.
Duncan leads a room full of attendees on an interactive journey that has them working together to create a classical masterpiece with nothing more than a pair of bamboo sticks and a mallet. Each participant contributes to the whole and the result is a fun team building lesson that gets participants energized.
Objective: Communicating a Global Brand
To create a fun, engaging user experience that provides visitors with quick and easy access to the information they need. We also needed to provide a better user experience and a more professional presentation to potential clients, giving them an easy way to contact Duncan.
Challenges: Too Much Info? No Way
The original website had a lot of content. Though visitors need all the information before booking with Duncan, it ran the risk of “too much text,” which usually results in bounced visits.
Providing all the information necessary without turning away visitors with too much content for them to read became our primary objective. We also knew that it is unlikely that visitors will convert on the first visit so contacting Stix for more information was paramount.
A Better User Experience
User recordings show that website visitors can easily navigate the website and are finding the information they need. Analytics also show more web form submissions than previously measured.
We implemented a Google Ads campaign to drive users to the site so we could conduct usability testing with user recordings. Users easily navigated through the site, along user flows and to the designated calls-to-action.

Cabaretti Takes Done Right to the Top of their Market
Promote Brand and Drive ROI
Done Right’s primary marketing objective throughout the years has always been to increase sales through online search. Most restaurant owners who don’t already know of a good hood cleaning company will search the internet for hood cleaners. It is crucial for Done Right to position itself in the top of search for primary consumer search terms like kitchen hood cleaning new york, kitchen exhaust cleaners NYC, grease trap cleaning NYC and hood fabrication Nassau County.
Jacob’s newest objective is to position Done Right as the leading contractor in the 5 boroughs of New York City for kitchen hood cleaning. Indeed, Done Right is the leading commercial kitchen hood cleaning company in New York City. We set out to promote this status so consumers who want the best, know to use Done Right.
More Conversions Leading to More Profit
The newest version of the website is indeed clean and authoritative. The content is so deep and comprehensive that the entire website has gained trust and authority by Google–enough so that when we post a new page, it only takes about a week for it to gain first page status for that page’s primary search term. This happens time and time again. New pages rank almost immediately. Such quick ranking only happens with websites that Google trusts.
For primary consumer search phrases, both organically and in Google Ads, the Done Right website ranks at the top of search in paid, organic and the local maps. It is also not uncommon for multiple pages of his website, ads, video and images to rank on the same page, giving him vast real estate in search results, more than any other kitchen hood cleaning service in the tri-state area.
When consumers are redirected to the website, they convert. With conversion rates of 12-17%, business is consistent and sales are frequent.

Web Design for a Global Conference
THE 2018 GLOBAL SCIENCE CONFERENCE ON CLIMATE-SMART AGRICULTURE
The conference is on the cutting edge of agriculture transformation and reaches every corner of the world to help give farmers a sustainable living while driving eco-smart agriculture initiatives.
The conference brings together some of the best and brightest minds in green technology and sustainable agriculture. Scientists, educators, activists and investors merge twice a year to discuss the latest developments and technology that will allow our planet to sustain the massive growth in population.
OBJECTIVE
The client needed a website that would server several purposes. First, it needed to educate attendees, vendors, the media and the public of the fantastic progress being made in sustainable agriculture. We also need to give all the details of the conference and provide both a sophisticated conference payment system with tiered pricing levels and carbon offset capabilities as well as registration for vendors and speakers.
The website needed to be clean and functional with an intuitive flow to make it easy for potential attendees to register. Registration needed to verify payment, provide reports of payments, allow for different payment formats from both developed and developing countries, provide different payment levels and give users the ability to transfer entrance tickets and purchase event add-ons.
OUTCOME
The site performs all objectives seamlessly and attendees find it easy to register. We implemented tracking systems to determine how many vendors and speakers registered as well as the demographics of attendees from around the globe.

Intuitive Web Design - All Devices & Screens
Web design for the Worlds Largest Travel Brochure Distributor
Certified Folder Display is the largest travel information distributor in the world. They distribute marketing material in brochure racks and digital displays throughout north America. Do you know those racks you see in hotel lobbies with all the brochures of things to do in the area? Certified builds, distributes and maintains those racks. They also fill them with promotional brochures and travel guides from local business advertisers.
Now certified distributes digital kiosks and offers a virtual display rack for advertisers on the Web. Based in southern California, Certified has distribution centers throughout the US and Canada.
A Beautiful Website on Any Device
Certified received a highly functional and beautiful website that achieved all their objectives. Both the website hierarchy and the navigation menu were improved to make more sense to the user. Some existing pages that were no longer needed were either merged with more important pages or redirected entirely. Some new pages were added that made sense to users in order to obtain needed information. The user flow became intuitive and user-friendly.
We redesigned their web form as the original one was too long and discouraged users from taking action. The client helped by providing new, updated images that we incorporated into page headers. All images support the message of the particular page. Calls-to-action are compelling and provide a clear path forward.
Generally, the website is cleaner and easier to navigate, giving users the information they need to convert.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the owner of a security consultancy specializing in Firearm Instruction, Active Shooter Training, General Security Consulting, and Security Guard Training
For what projects/services did your company hire Cabaretti Web Design and Digital Advertising, and what were your goals?
Our website was previously edited by a larger web design firm that placed less of an emphasis on the quality of the content and focused more on stuffing the site with keywords to simply help the site populate in Google searches more frequently.
As a local security consultancy with deep ties to the community, we were not satisfied with the work they performed as the site did not reflect the personality of our company and had no personal touch.
In addition, the site was having usability and user experience issues. Thus, after more thorough research I connected with Cabaretti Web design and hired their company to re-edit the website with an identity more reflective of our core values and fix the bugs that prevented the site's visitors from properly viewing the site.
How did you select Cabaretti Web Design and Digital Advertising and what were the deciding factors?
We searched online for local web development companies that could empathize with the direction and image we wanted to project across our site. Thus, after interviewing several different developers we agreed to work with Cabaretti Web Design and Digital Advertising because they demonstrated the best understanding of the work we intended to have performed.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
We listed numerous changes that we wanted for the website but also asked for professional recommendations to improve the professionalism and user experience for our visitors.
Cabaretti web designers created new mockups of the pages and once approved, their developers made the changes based on their design. Cabaretti also helped with SEO and copywriting.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Cabaretti consists of web designers, web developers user experience and conversion optimization specialists. I had the pleasure of working with each and every individual on the team.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
After launching the site we received numerous compliments from our clients and new visitors for the site. The impression the newly redesigned site left, increased our conversion rate two-fold as we were then able to convert every other lead we received over the phone into a client!
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.
We communicated through e-mail and over the phone on a daily basis as Cabaretti kept me updated all along the way of the progress they were making.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The personal touch Cabaretti brought to the table and their ability to empathize with their clients on the direction we wanted to take the content of the site, beyond the obvious SEO aspect.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Fortunately, I have no formal suggestions for improvement as we were 100% satisfied with their service, communication, and final results of this project.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the global events manager for CGIAR, an international climate change research organization. I’m based out of Indonesia, but the organization has offices around the world.
What challenge were you trying to address with Cabaretti Web Design and Digital Advertising?
We needed a website to support a large, three-day conference we were organizing on agriculture and climate.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Cabaretti Web Design and Digital Advertising built the entire website from scratch using my creative direction.
They created a landing page where attendees could understand at a glance what our conference was about. The team provided pages for background information and history, and incorporated the theme of the event throughout.
The team was also able to introduce to a third party who could help us work out the technicalities of incorporating payments, which was a complicated process as the event took place in Bali and we had participants from all over the world.
What is the team composition?
My main point of contact was Dino (Digital Advertising Manager, Cabaretti Web Design and Digital Advertising), and we also worked with Ratri (Chief Performance Officer, Cabaretti Web Design and Digital Advertising).
How did you come to work with Cabaretti Web Design and Digital Advertising?
Their team came recommended by a friend in Bali who knew I needed a website for the conference and that Cabaretti Web Design and Digital Advertising would be able to produce great results.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent between $5,000-$10,000 on this project.
What is the status of this engagement?
The project lasted from July 2018-November 2019.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We had a very specific target audience for the conference, so we weren’t necessarily interested in widely promoting the website. But as Google Partners, Cabaretti Web Design and Digital Advertising made sure the page was very searchable for those visitors we were interested in attracting.
I’m completely satisfied with the work the team did. They were able to implement everything I had requested. Ratri is an excellent programmer and understood my vision exactly.
The landing page they designed acted as the highlight of the conference itself. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a website developer for their company or event.
How did Cabaretti Web Design and Digital Advertising perform from a project management standpoint?
The team met all the deadlines we set perfectly on time. They were always available via email or WhatsApp for any of my urgent requests, which I appreciated immensely as I often travel for work.
Sometimes we were connecting while I was in Europe or the United States, and we never ran into any communication issues outside of time differences.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re skillful and experts in what they do but they’re also passionate, which is a combination that allows them to deliver remarkable work.
Are there any areas they could improve?
While they were very adept at understanding and implementing my creative vision, I think they could improve their own sense of design.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
If you have a full schedule and are looking for a responsive company, Cabaretti Web Design and Digital Advertising can deliver results for you.

Web Design for Skiing Startup

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder of a startup called Ski House Swap. We help skiers, snowboarders, and mountain sports enthusiasts to share and experience other people’s ski houses. This is done through a digital marketplace made for swapping with other members.
What challenge were you trying to address with Cabaratti?
I had a basic design for the site, but I was lacking some integrations and UX components. We wanted to tailor the user’s journey from sign-up to use in a clear manner.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Cabaretti Web Design and Digital Advertising filled in the missing pieces by doing everything from basic design to coding. I had basic designs for a number of pages, but like any web product, certain pages and features were missing that could connect the user’s journey. They gave the site cohesion by taking us through the complete process.
What is the team composition?
I worked with two individuals on this project.
How did you come to work with Cabaratti?
I found them online. Although I had offered bids to others, Cabaratti’s responsiveness, quality of past work, and willingness to be flexible stood out me so I chose them.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started our partnership in October 2018, and it is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
There aren’t any hard and fast metrics, but overall, they made the UI/UX more seamless and easier to use. User feedback has been positive despite being in the early stages.
How did Cabaratti perform from a project management standpoint?
I would rate them very highly in terms of managing deadlines and communication. I was never confused about what they were doing nor were there any issues or gaps in understanding. Their team was responsive and all timelines and deliverables were met. If things were progressing slower or faster than we thought, the team provided clear and concise explanations.
Cabaratti delivered the work on time and exceeded expectations. I’m very happy with the way the site turned out. Their response times in fixing or addressing issues were exceedingly fast. The company always met my expectations.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I could sincerely trust them. I never felt I was working with a company that only looked out for itself. For them, I wasn’t just one of many clients. Cabaratti really cared about what they were doing. They asked great questions and became deeply involved. They were a true partner—that sounds cliché but it was absolutely my experience.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There’s always an opportunity to improve the depth of a skill set. There were instances where I could’ve used even more help in certain areas but their team wasn’t equipped for that work. For example, they might not have been able to help with a certain coding challenge or a unique integration.
I would’ve liked to solely rely on them to solve more challenging technical problems, but it was a little outside their specialty. As they grow and continue to deliver excellent work, rounding out their skillset will be beneficial to their company.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Make sure to really understand your project goals. That way, you can quickly assess and find a good fit. It’s helpful to understand the differences between basic designing and coding versus deeper web development and custom code.
There may be some specific details that'll complicate your UI/UX. Have a good understanding of all those details when you engage.

Not sure how to answer this question, but Dino has a team of tech guys and designers that help him fulfill our needs. They are very responsive to our inquiries.
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
The results you can check for yourself at airmakersheatingandair.com. We're very happy with the website. He took the pictures, designed the graphics and wrote the text for the site. He did it all. It's clean and easy to navigate, which we like. Since we're a contractor, we stayed away from fancy bells and whistles. our customers just want the info.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
He handled everything and met our deadlines with no problem. Communication is always terrific and if there is a mistake, Dino takes full accountability. he has even waived his monthly retainer from time to time until he made sure our site and marketing were running smoothly.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
The communication, expertise, knowledge, skills and responsiveness. He is always concerned about performance. Rather than just build a pretty website, he wants to make sure it helps us get new customers. That has always been his focus and we love that about him.
Are there any areas for improvement?
When he goes over seas, responsiveness slows, but it hasn't been a big problem. no major areas for improvement that we can tell.

Describe the project in detail.
The project started with research by Cabaretti to understand our objectives as well as our site's user behavior. They created wireframes and mockups. Once approved by our team, Cabaretti moved into the development stage and built the pages for desktop and then customized our mobile pages to better suit mobile traffic. They migrated the site from the staging environment and have followed up with customer service and other tasks as required by us and our marketing consultants.

Cabaretti is extremely knowledgable and their team has answered every question and/or fulfilled any request that we have asked of them.
